ትንሣኤ ሙታንስ ከሌለ ክርስቶስ አልተነሣማ፤
but if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is christ not risen:

ለእኔ ሕይወት ክርስቶስ፥ ሞትም ጥቅም ነውና።
for to me to live is christ, and to die is gain.

ሙታን የማይነሡ ከሆነ ክርስቶስ አልተነሣማ፤
for if the dead rise not, then is not christ raised:

የሚያምኑ ሁሉ ይጸድቁ ዘንድ ክርስቶስ የሕግ ፍጻሜ ነውና።
for christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

ነገር ግን እንደ ክርስቶስ ስጦታ መጠን ለእያንዳንዳችን ጸጋ ተሰጠን።
but unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of christ.

ሊቃችሁ አንድ እርሱም ክርስቶስ ነውና። ሊቃውንት ተብላችሁ አትጠሩ።
neither be ye called masters: for one is your master, even christ.

በእነርሱም መካከል የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ልትሆኑ የተጠራችሁ እናንተ ደግሞ ናችሁ።
among whom are ye also the called of jesus christ:

ስምዖን ጴጥሮስም መልሶ። አንተ ክርስቶስ የሕያው እግዚአብሔር ልጅ ነህ አለ።
and simon peter answered and said, thou art the christ, the son of the living god.

ስለዚህ ነገር ሙታንንም ሕያዋንንም ይገዛ ዘንድ ክርስቶስ ሞቶአልና ሕያውም ሆኖአልና።
for to this end christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be lord both of the dead and living.

ልጆቼ ሆይ፥ ክርስቶስ በእናንተ እስኪሣል ድረስ ዳግመኛ ስለ እናንተ ምጥ ይዞኛል።
my little children, of whom i travail in birth again until christ be formed in you,

ለዘላለም የተባረከ የጌታችን የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ አምላክና አባት እንዳልዋሽ ያውቃል።
the god and father of our lord jesus christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that i lie not.

በመካከላችሁ ሳለሁ ከኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ በቀር እርሱም እንደተሰቀለ ሌላ ነገር እንዳላውቅ ቆርጬ ነበርና።
for i determined not to know any thing among you, save jesus christ, and him crucified.

ሁልጊዜ ስለ ሁሉ በጌታችን በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ስም አምላካችንንና አባታችንን ስለ ሁሉ አመስግኑ።
giving thanks always for all things unto god and the father in the name of our lord jesus christ;

ሌሎች። ይህ ክርስቶስ ነው አሉ፤ ሌሎች ግን። ክርስቶስ በእውኑ ከገሊላ ይመጣልን?
others said, this is the christ. but some said, shall christ come out of galilee?

ለአገልግሎቱ ሾሞኝ ታማኝ አድርጎ ስለ ቈጠረኝ፥ ኃይል የሰጠኝን ክርስቶስ ኢየሱስን ጌታችንን አመሰግናለሁ፤
and i thank christ jesus our lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

ከተሰቀሉት ከክፉ አድራጊዎቹም አንዱ። አንተስ ክርስቶስ አይደለህምን? ራስህንም እኛንም አድን ብሎ ሰደበው።
and one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, if thou be christ, save thyself and us.

ለተጠሩት ግን፥ አይሁድ ቢሆኑ የግሪክ ሰዎችም ቢሆኑ፥ የእግዚአብሔር ኃይልና የእግዚአብሔር ጥበብ የሆነው ክርስቶስ ነው።
but unto them which are called, both jews and greeks, christ the power of god, and the wisdom of god.

በዚያን ጊዜም ማንም። እነሆ፥ ክርስቶስ ከዚህ አለ፥ ወይም። እነሆ፥ ከዚያ አለ ቢላችሁ አትመኑ፤
and then if any man shall say to you, lo, here is christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

ጲላጦስ። ክርስቶስ የተባለውን ኢየሱስን እንግዲህ ምን ላድርገው? አላቸው፤ ሁሉም። ይሰቀል አሉ።
pilate saith unto them, what shall i do then with jesus which is called christ? they all say unto him, let him be crucified.
