ወደ አላህ በንጹህ ልብ የመጣ ሰው ቢኾን እንጅ ፡ ፡ »

and then insert him in a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits .
« ከዚያም ርዝመቷ ሰባ ክንድ በኾነች ሰንሰለት ውስጥ አግቡት ፡ ፡ »

and then shall they see the son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
በዚያን ጊዜም የሰው ልጅ በኃይልና በብዙ ክብር በደመና ሲመጣ ያዩታል።

have they not seen how god originates the creation , and then reproduces it ? this is easy for god .
አላህ መፍጠርን እንዴት እንደሚጀመር ከዚያም እንዴት እንደሚመልሰው አይመለከቱምን ይህ በአላህ ላይ ቀላል ነው ፡ ፡

are you not aware that allah has knowledge of what is in the heaven and earth ? this is ( recorded ) in a book .
አላህ በሰማይና በምድር ውስጥ ያለን ሁሉ በእርግጥ የሚያውቅ መኾኑን አታውቅምን ይህ በመጽሐፍ ውስጥ ( የተመዘገበ ) ነው ፡ ፡ ይህ በአላህ ላይ ገር ነው ፡ ፡

we command but once : our will is done in the twinkling of an eye ;
ትእዛዛችንም እንደ ዓይን ቅጽበት አንዲት ( ቃል ) እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡

do you not know that allah knows what is in the heaven and the earth ? surely this is in a book ; surely this is easy to allah .
አላህ በሰማይና በምድር ውስጥ ያለን ሁሉ በእርግጥ የሚያውቅ መኾኑን አታውቅምን ይህ በመጽሐፍ ውስጥ ( የተመዘገበ ) ነው ፡ ፡ ይህ በአላህ ላይ ገር ነው ፡ ፡

but they hamstrung her , and then he said : enjoy life in your dwelling-place three days ! this is a threat that will not be belied .
ወግተው ገደሏትም ፡ ፡ ( ሷሊህ ) « በአገራችሁም ሶስትን ቀናት ( ብቻ ) ተጠቀሙ ፡ ፡ ይህ የማይዋሽ ቀጠሮ ነው » አላቸው ፡ ፡

he governs from the heaven to the earth and then the record ( of this governance ) goes up to him in a day whose measure is a thousand years in your reckoning .
ነገሩን ሁሉ ከሰማይ ወደ ምድር ያዘጋጃል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ከምትቆጥሩት ( ዘመን ) ልኩ ሺህ ዓመት በሆነ ቀን ውስጥ ወደርሱ ይወጣል ( ይመለሳል ) ፡ ፡

of all men the nearest to abraham are those who follow him , and then this prophet and the faithful ; and god is the protector of all believers .
ከሰው ሁሉ በኢብራሂም ተገቢዎቹ እነዚያ የተከተሉትና ይህ ነቢይ እነዚያም ያመኑት ናቸው ፡ ፡ አላህም የምእምናን ረዳት ነው ፡ ፡

this is just one of the disgraced armies , that will be routed there and then .
እዚያ ዘንድ ከአሕዛብ የሆኑ ተሸናፊ ሰራዊት ናቸው ፡ ፡

for if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?
በእርጥብ እንጨት እንዲህ የሚያደርጉ ከሆኑ፥ በደረቀውስ እንዴት ይሆን?

do you not know that god has knowledge of what the heavens and the earth contain ? all is recorded in a book ; all this is easy for god .
አላህ በሰማይና በምድር ውስጥ ያለን ሁሉ በእርግጥ የሚያውቅ መኾኑን አታውቅምን ይህ በመጽሐፍ ውስጥ ( የተመዘገበ ) ነው ፡ ፡ ይህ በአላህ ላይ ገር ነው ፡ ፡

those who put away their wives by equating them with their mothers , and then wish to go back on what they have said , must set free a slave before the couple may touch one another again . this is what you are exhorted to do .
እነዚያም ከሚስቶቻቸው እንደናቶቻችን ጀርባዎች ኹኑብን በማለት የሚምሉ ከዚያም ወደ ተናገሩት የሚመለሱ ሳይነካኩ በፊት ጫንቃን ነጻ ማውጣት በነርሱ ላይ አለባቸው ፡ ፡ እነሆ በእርሱ ትገሰጹበታለችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ውስጥ ዓዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

woe , then , to those who write the book with their hands and then say : this is from allah , so that they may take for it a small price ; therefore woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn .
ለነዚያም መጽሐፉን በእጆቻቸው ለሚጽፉና ከዚያም በርሱ ጥቂትን ዋጋ ሊገዙበት « ይህ ከአላህ ዘንድ ነው » ለሚሉ ወዮላቸው ፡ ፡ ለነርሱም ከዚያ እጆቻቸው ከጻፉት ወዮላቸው ፡ ፡ ለነሱም ከዚያ ከሚያፈሩት ( ኃጢኣት ) ወዮላቸው ፡ ፡

so woe to them who write the book with their hands and then say , ‘ this is from allah , ’ that they may sell it for a paltry gain . so woe to them for what their hands have written , and woe to them for what they earn !
ለነዚያም መጽሐፉን በእጆቻቸው ለሚጽፉና ከዚያም በርሱ ጥቂትን ዋጋ ሊገዙበት « ይህ ከአላህ ዘንድ ነው » ለሚሉ ወዮላቸው ፡ ፡ ለነርሱም ከዚያ እጆቻቸው ከጻፉት ወዮላቸው ፡ ፡ ለነሱም ከዚያ ከሚያፈሩት ( ኃጢኣት ) ወዮላቸው ፡ ፡

and then the record of their deeds shall be placed before them and you will see the guilty full of fear for what it contains , and will say : " woe to us ! what a record this is !
( ለሰው ሁሉ ) መጽሐፉም ይቀርባል ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም ከሓዲዎችን በውስጡ ካለው ነገር ፈሪዎች ኾነው ታያቸዋለህ ፡ ፡ « ዋ ጥፋታችን ! ለዚህ መጽሐፍ ( ከሥራ ) ትንሽንም ትልቅንም የቆጠራት ቢኾን እንጂ የማይተወው ምን አለው » ይላሉም ፡ ፡ የሰሩትንም ነገር ሁሉ ቀራቢ ኾኖ ያገኙታል ፡ ፡ ጌታህም አንድንም አይበድልም ፡ ፡

and those among you who have proclaimed their wives as their mothers and then wish to revert to the matter upon which they had uttered such an enormous word , must then free a slave before they touch one another ; this is what you are advised ; and allah is aware of your deeds .
እነዚያም ከሚስቶቻቸው እንደናቶቻችን ጀርባዎች ኹኑብን በማለት የሚምሉ ከዚያም ወደ ተናገሩት የሚመለሱ ሳይነካኩ በፊት ጫንቃን ነጻ ማውጣት በነርሱ ላይ አለባቸው ፡ ፡ እነሆ በእርሱ ትገሰጹበታለችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ውስጥ ዓዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

alif , lam , ra . [ this is ] a book whose verses are perfected and then presented in detail from [ one who is ] wise and acquainted .
አ.ለ.ረ ( አሊፍ ላም ራ ፤ ይህ ቁርኣን ) አንቀጾቹ በጥንካሬ የተሰካኩ ከዚያም የተዘረዘሩ የሆነ መጽሐፍ ነው ፡ ፡ ጥበበኛ ውስጠ ዐዋቂ ከሆነው ዘንድ ( የተወረደ ) ነው ፡ ፡

aliflaamra . ( this is ) a book whose verses are clear , and then distinguished from him , the wise , the aware .
አ.ለ.ረ ( አሊፍ ላም ራ ፤ ይህ ቁርኣን ) አንቀጾቹ በጥንካሬ የተሰካኩ ከዚያም የተዘረዘሩ የሆነ መጽሐፍ ነው ፡ ፡ ጥበበኛ ውስጠ ዐዋቂ ከሆነው ዘንድ ( የተወረደ ) ነው ፡ ፡
