he has laid out the earth for his creatures .
ምድርንም ለፍጡሩ አደላደላት ፡ ፡

and the earth hath he appointed for ( his ) creatures ,
ምድርንም ለፍጡሩ አደላደላት ፡ ፡

will surely have hell for his abode .
ገሀነም እርሷ በእርግጥ መኖሪያው ናት ፡ ፡

may he be condemned again for his schemes ! he looked around ,
ከዚያም እንደ ገና ( በቁርኣኑ ነገር ) ተመለከተ ፡ ፡

for that they used not to fear any account ( for their deeds ) ,
እነርሱ ምርመራን የማይፈሩ ነበሩና ፡ ፡

and will be fully recompensed for his deeds .
ከዚያም ሙሉውን ምንዳ ይመነዳዋል ፡ ፡

he singles out for his mercy whom he will . and allah is of abundant bounty .
በችሮታው ( በነቢይነት ) የሚሻውን ይመርጣል ፡ ፡ አላህም የታላቅ ችሮታ ባለቤት ነው ፡ ፡

he singles out for his mercy whom he will ; god is of bounty abounding . '
በችሮታው ( በነቢይነት ) የሚሻውን ይመርጣል ፡ ፡ አላህም የታላቅ ችሮታ ባለቤት ነው ፡ ፡

he cannot be questioned for his acts , but they will be questioned ( for theirs ) .
ከሚሠራው ሁሉ አይጠየቅም ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ( ፍጥረቶቹ ) ግን ይጠየቃሉ ፡ ፡

he singles out for his mercy whoever he pleases . god is the lord of exceeding bounty . "
በችሮታው ( በነቢይነት ) የሚሻውን ይመርጣል ፡ ፡ አላህም የታላቅ ችሮታ ባለቤት ነው ፡ ፡

but his lord chose him for his own and made him one of the righteous .
ጌታውም ( በነቢይነት ) መረጠው ፡ ፡ ከደጋጎቹም አደረገው ፡ ፡

[ he was ] grateful for his favors . allah chose him and guided him to a straight path .
ለጸጋዎቹ አመስጋኝ ነበር ፤ መረጠው ፡ ፡ ወደ ቀጥተኛውም መንገድ መራው ፡ ፡

and ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
ለአባቱና ለእናቱ ምንም እንኳ ሊያደርግ ወደ ፊት አትፈቅዱለትም፤

anyone who alters it once he has heard it shall be accountable for his crime . surely , god is all hearing and all knowing .
( ኑዛዜውን ) ከሰማውም በኋላ የለወጠው ሰው ኃጢአቱ በነዚያ በሚለውጡት ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህ ሰሚ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡

god loves those who fight for his cause in battlefield formations firm as an unbreakable concrete wall .
አላህ እነዚያን እነርሱ ልክ እንደ ተናሰ ግንብ የተሰለፉ ኾነው በመንገዱ ( በሃይማኖቱ ) የሚጋደሉትን ይወዳል ፡ ፡

" but he who desires the hereafter , and strives for it with a will , and is a believer , will be favoured for his endeavour .
መጨረሻይቱንም ዓለም የፈለገ ሰው እርሱ አማኝ ኾኖ ለርሷ ( ተገቢ ) ሥራዋን የሠራም ሰው እነዚህ ሥራቸው የተመሰገነ ይኾናል ፡ ፡

but we saved him and his family , except for his wife ; she was of those who lagged behind .
እርሱንና ቤተሰቦቹንም አዳንናቸው ሚስቱ ብቻ ስትቀር ፡ ፡ እርሷ ( ለጥፋት ) ከቀሩት ኾነች ፡ ፡

except for mercy from thy lord : for his bounty is to thee ( indeed ) great .
ግን ከጌታህ በኾነው እዝነት ( ጠበቅነው ) ፡ ፡ ችሮታው ባንተ ላይ ታላቅ ነውና ፡ ፤

and for his saying , ' my lord , surely these are a people who believe not ' --
( ነቢዩ ) ጌታዬ ሆይ ! እነዚህ የማያምኑ ሕዝቦች ናቸው ፤ የማለቱም ( ዕውቀት አላህ ዘንድ ነው ) ፡ ፡

but his lord chose him ( for his grace ) : he turned to him , and gave him guidance .
ከዚያም ጌታው መረጠው ከእርሱም ጸጸቱን ተቀበለው መራውም ፡ ፡
