ክፉ ነገር ባገኘው ጊዜ ብስጪተኛ ፡ ፡

bewailing when evil befalls him ,
ክፉ ነገር ባገኘው ጊዜ ብስጪተኛ ፡ ፡

fretful when evil touches him ;
ክፉ ነገር ባገኘው ጊዜ ብስጪተኛ ፡ ፡

from the evil of what he created .
« ከፈጠረው ፍጡር ሁሉ ክፋት ፡ ፡

from the evil of the sneaky tempter
« ብቅ እልም ባይ ከኾነው ጎትጓች ( ሰይጣን ) ክፋት ፡ ፡

from the evil of what he has created ,
« ከፈጠረው ፍጡር ሁሉ ክፋት ፡ ፡

and the evil-doers will be in hell
ከሓዲዎቹም በእርግጥ በገሀነም ውስጥ ናቸው ፡ ፡

being greatly grieved when evil afflicts him
ክፉ ነገር ባገኘው ጊዜ ብስጪተኛ ፡ ፡

against the evil of whatever he has created .
« ከፈጠረው ፍጡር ሁሉ ክፋት ፡ ፡

and so are strong in repelling ( evil ) ,
መገሠጽንም በሚገሥጹት ፤

against the evil of the temptations of the satans ,
« ብቅ እልም ባይ ከኾነው ጎትጓች ( ሰይጣን ) ክፋት ፡ ፡

indeed the disbelievers carry out their evil schemes .
እነርሱ በእርግጥ ተንኮልን ይሠራሉ ፡ ፡

and from the evil of the envier when he envies . "
« ከምቀኛም ክፋት በተመቀኘ ጊዜ ፤ ( እጠበቃለሁ በል ) ፡ ፡ »

and showed him two highways ( of good and evil ) ?
ሁለትን መንገዶችም አልመራነውምን ?

gehenna , wherein they are roasted - an evil cradling !
የሚገቧት ስትኾን ገሀነም ( አለቻቸው ) ፡ ፡ ምንጣፊቱም ምንኛ ከፋች ፡ ፡

an exact recompense ( according to their evil crimes ) .
ተስማሚን ምንዳ ይምመነዳሉ ፡ ፡

and we delivered those who believed and guarded ( against evil ) .
እነዚያንም ያመኑትንና ይጠነቀቁ የነበሩትን አዳንናቸው ፡ ፡

and we delivered those who believed and who guarded ( against evil ) .
እነዚያንም ያመኑትንና ከክሕደት ይጠነቀቁ የነበሩትን አዳን ፡ ፡

( for beauty ) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits ,
አመጸኛም ከሆነ ሰይጣን ሁሉ መጠበቅን ጠበቅናት ፡ ፡
