ሕያዋን ኾናችሁ ሙታንም ኾናችሁ ፡ ፡

a resort for the rebellious ;
ለሕግ ተላላፊዎች መመለሻ ስትኾን ፡ ፡

as for the companions of the left
የግራ ጓደኞችም ምንኛ ( የተዋረዱ ) የግራ ጓዶች ! ናቸው ፡ ፡

and hell advanced for the perverse .
ገሀነምም ለጠመሞች በምትገለጽበት ( ቀን ) ፡ ፡

for the living and for the dead ?
ሕያዋን ኾናችሁ ሙታንም ኾናችሁ ፡ ፡

for the companions of the right hand .
ለቀኝ ጓዶች ( አዘጋጀናቸው ) ፡ ፡

a guidance and mercy for the righteous
ለበጎ አድራጊዎች መሪና እዝነት ስትኾን ፡ ፡

a guidance and mercy for the virtuous ,
ለበጎ አድራጊዎች መሪና እዝነት ስትኾን ፡ ፡

for the accustomed security of the quraysh -
ቁረይሽን ለማላመድ ( ባለዝሆኖቹን አጠፋ ) ፡ ፡

except for the sincere worshipers of allah .
ግን የተመረጡት የአላህ ባሮች ( በአላህ ላይ አይዋሹም ) ፡ ፡

as for the poets , the erring follow them ,
ባለ ቅኔዎችንም ጠማማዎቹ ይከተሉዋቸዋል ፡ ፡

and they will [ then ] say , " we believe in it ! " but how for them will be the taking [ of faith ] from a place far away ?
« በእርሱም ( አሁን ) አመንን » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም ከሩቅ ስፍራ ( እምነትን ) በቀላል ማግኘት ከየታቸው ?

tell my worshippers , those who believe , who establish the prayer , and spend of what we have given them in private and in public , before the coming of that day in which there is neither bargaining , nor the taking of friends ,
ለእነዚያ ላመኑት ባሮቼ በእርሱ ውስጥ ሽያጭና ወዳጂነት የሌለበት ቀን ከመምጣቱ በፊት ሶላትን በደንቡ ይሰግዳሉ ፡ ፡ ከሰጠናቸውም ሲሳይ በምስጢርም በግልጽም ይለግሳሉ ፡ ፡ ( ስገዱ ለግሱም ) በላቸው ፡ ፡
