so verily i am going to send a present unto them , and see with what answer the envoys come back .
« እኔም ወደእነርሱ ገጸ በረከትን የምልክና መልክተኞቹ በምን እንደሚመለሱ የምጠባበቅ ነኝ ፡ ፡ »

by our command . verily , we were set to send a messenger
ከእኛ ዘንድ የኾነ ትእዛዝ ሲኾን ( አወረድነው ) ፡ ፡ እኛ ( መልክተኞችን ) ላኪዎች ነበርን ፡ ፡

but lo ! i am going to send a present unto them , and to see with what ( answer ) the messengers return .
« እኔም ወደእነርሱ ገጸ በረከትን የምልክና መልክተኞቹ በምን እንደሚመለሱ የምጠባበቅ ነኝ ፡ ፡ »

and surely i am going to send a present to them , and shall wait to see what ( answer ) do the apostles bring back .
« እኔም ወደእነርሱ ገጸ በረከትን የምልክና መልክተኞቹ በምን እንደሚመለሱ የምጠባበቅ ነኝ ፡ ፡ »

and said, this fellow said, i am able to destroy the temple of god, and to build it in three days.
በኋላም ሁለት ቀርበው። ይህ ሰው። የእግዚአብሔርን ቤተ መቅደስ አፍርሼ በሦስት ቀን ልሠራው እችላለሁ ብሎአል አሉ።

" but verily ! i am going to send him a present , and see with what ( answer ) the messengers return . "
« እኔም ወደእነርሱ ገጸ በረከትን የምልክና መልክተኞቹ በምን እንደሚመለሱ የምጠባበቅ ነኝ ፡ ፡ »

for it seemeth to me unreasonable to send a prisoner, and not withal to signify the crimes laid against him.
እስረኛ ሲላክ የተከሰሰበትን ምክንያት ደግሞ አለማመልከት ሞኝነት መስሎኛልና።

but if we were to send a wind and then their tilth has become yellow , they would never cease to disbelieve .
ነፋስንም ( በአዝመራዎች ላይ ) ብንልክና ገርጥቶ ቢያዩት ከእርሱ በኋላ በእርግጥ ( ችሮታውን ) የሚክዱ ይሆናሉ ፡ ፡

is thy lord able to send down for us a table spread with food from heaven ? he said : observe your duty to allah , if ye are true believers .
ሐዋርያት ፡ - « የመርየም ልጅ ዒሳ ሆይ ! ጌታህ በእኛ ላይ ከሰማይ ማእድን ሊያወርድልን ይችላልን » ባሉ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ « ምእመናን እንደ ኾናችሁ አላህን ፍሩ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

" but i am going to send him a present , and ( wait ) to see with what ( answer ) return ( my ) ambassadors . "
« እኔም ወደእነርሱ ገጸ በረከትን የምልክና መልክተኞቹ በምን እንደሚመለሱ የምጠባበቅ ነኝ ፡ ፡ »

and they say : wherefore is not a sign sent down upon him from his lord ? say thou : verily allah is able to send down a sign , howbeit most of them know not .
« ከጌታውም በእርሱ ላይ ለምን ተዓምር አልተወረደም » አሉ ፡ ፡ « አላህ ተአምርን በማውረድ ላይ ቻይ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ግን አብዛኞቻቸው አያውቁም ፡ ፡

[ every ] matter [ proceeding ] from us . indeed , we were to send [ a messenger ]
ከእኛ ዘንድ የኾነ ትእዛዝ ሲኾን ( አወረድነው ) ፡ ፡ እኛ ( መልክተኞችን ) ላኪዎች ነበርን ፡ ፡

and when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and jesus saith unto them, believe ye that i am able to do this? they said unto him, yea, lord.
ወደ ቤትም በገባ ጊዜ ዕውሮቹ ወደ እርሱ ቀረቡ፥ ኢየሱስም። ይህን ማድረግ እንድችል ታምናላችሁን? አላቸው። አዎን፥ ጌታ ሆይ አሉት።

and they say , “ if only a sign could come down to him from his lord . ” say , “ god is able to send down a sign , but most of them do not know . ”
« ከጌታውም በእርሱ ላይ ለምን ተዓምር አልተወረደም » አሉ ፡ ፡ « አላህ ተአምርን በማውረድ ላይ ቻይ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ግን አብዛኞቻቸው አያውቁም ፡ ፡

and it does not befit allah s majesty ’ to send a nation astray after he has guided them until he has made clear to them what they should avoid ; indeed allah knows everything .
አላህም ሕዝቦችን ከአቀናቸው በኋላ የሚጠነቀቁትን ( ሥራ ) ለእነሱ እስከሚገልጸላቸው ( እስከሚተውትም ) ድረስ ጥፋተኛ የሚያደርግ አይደለም ፡ ፡ አላህ በነገሩ ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡

say : he is able to send punishment upon you from above you or from beneath your feet , or to bewilder you with dissension and make you taste the tyranny one of another . see how we display the revelations so that they may understand .
« እርሱ ( አላህ ) ከበላያችሁ ወይም ከእግሮቻችሁ በታች ቅጣትን በእናንተ ላይ ሊልክ ወይም የተለያዩ ሕዝቦች ስትኾኑ ሊያደባልቃችሁና ከፊላችሁን የከፊሉን ጭካኔ ሊያቀምስ ቻይ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ያውቁ ዘንድ አንቀጾችን እንዴት እንደምናብራራ ተመልከት ፡ ፡

and they said , “ why has no sign been sent down upon him from his lord ? ” say , “ indeed allah is able to send down a sign ” , but most of them are totally ignorant .
« ከጌታውም በእርሱ ላይ ለምን ተዓምር አልተወረደም » አሉ ፡ ፡ « አላህ ተአምርን በማውረድ ላይ ቻይ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ግን አብዛኞቻቸው አያውቁም ፡ ፡

and they said : " why is not a sign sent down to him from his lord ? " say : " allah is certainly able to send down a sign , but most of them know not . "
« ከጌታውም በእርሱ ላይ ለምን ተዓምር አልተወረደም » አሉ ፡ ፡ « አላህ ተአምርን በማውረድ ላይ ቻይ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ግን አብዛኞቻቸው አያውቁም ፡ ፡

do you feel secure that we will not drive you back to the sea , send a fierce gale to you , and cause you to drown because of your disbelief when you would not be able to find anyone who would intercede for you with us ?
ወይስ ሌላ ጊዜ ወደ እርሱ ( ወደ ባሕር ) የሚመልሳችሁ ወዲያውም በእናንተ ላይ ብርቱን ነፋስ የሚልክ በክሕደታችሁም ምክንያት የሚያሰጥማችሁ መኾኑን ከዚያም በኛ ላይ በእርሱ ተከታይን ( ረዳትን ) ለእናንተ የማታገኙ መኾናችሁን አትፈሩምን

allah said : " i am going to send it down unto you , but if any of you after that disbelieves , then i will punish him with a torment such as i have not inflicted on anyone among ( all ) the ' alamin ( mankind and jinns ) . "
አላህ ፡ - « እኔ ( ማእድዋን ) በናንተ ላይ አውራጅዋ ነኝ ፡ ፡ በኋላም ከእናንተ የሚክድ ሰው እኔ ከዓለማት አንድንም የማልቀጣውን ቅጣት እቀጣዋለሁ » አለ ፡ ፡
