« ሠሪዎች እንደ ኾናችሁ አቃጥሉት ፡ ፡ አማልክቶቻችሁንም እርዱ » አሉ ፡ ፡ ( በእሳት ላይ ጣሉትም ) ፡ ፡

tell the unbelievers , " do as you wish and i will do as i believe .
ለእነዚያም ለማያምኑት ባላችሁበት ሁኔታ ላይ ሥሩ ፤ እኛ ሠሪዎች ነንና በላቸው ፡ ፡

and do not falter in the pursuit of the enemy . if you are aching , they are aching as you are aching , but you expect from god what they cannot expect .
ሰዎቹንም በመፈለግ አትስነፉ ፡ ፡ ( ስትቆስሉ ) የምትታመሙ ብትኾኑ እናንተ እንደምትታመሙ እነሱም ይታመማሉ ፡ ፡ የማይከጅሉትንም ከአላህ ትከጅላላችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

and do not be weak in seeking out the people . if you are suffering , they are also suffering as you are suffering , but you are hoping from allah that which they do not hope .
ሰዎቹንም በመፈለግ አትስነፉ ፡ ፡ ( ስትቆስሉ ) የምትታመሙ ብትኾኑ እናንተ እንደምትታመሙ እነሱም ይታመማሉ ፡ ፡ የማይከጅሉትንም ከአላህ ትከጅላላችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

and if you are in fear , pray while on foot or while riding , as you can ; when you are in peace remember allah the way he has taught you , which you did not know .
ብትፈሩም እግረኞች ወይም ጋላቢዎች ኾናችሁ ( ስገዱ ) ፡ ፡ ጸጥተኞችም በኾናችሁ ጊዜ ታውቁት ያልነበራችሁትን እንደ አሳወቃችሁ አላህን አውሱ ( ስገዱ ) ፡ ፡

and do not weaken in pursuit of the enemy . if you should be suffering - so are they suffering as you are suffering , but you expect from allah that which they expect not .
ሰዎቹንም በመፈለግ አትስነፉ ፡ ፡ ( ስትቆስሉ ) የምትታመሙ ብትኾኑ እናንተ እንደምትታመሙ እነሱም ይታመማሉ ፡ ፡ የማይከጅሉትንም ከአላህ ትከጅላላችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

do not relax in pursuit of the disbelievers ; if you are suffering , they also suffer as you do ; and you expect from allah what they do not ; and allah is all knowing , wise .
ሰዎቹንም በመፈለግ አትስነፉ ፡ ፡ ( ስትቆስሉ ) የምትታመሙ ብትኾኑ እናንተ እንደምትታመሙ እነሱም ይታመማሉ ፡ ፡ የማይከጅሉትንም ከአላህ ትከጅላላችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

and if you chastise , chastise even as you have been chastised ; and yet assuredly if you are patient , better it is for those patient .
ብትበቀሉም በርሱ በተቀጣችሁበት ብጤ ተበቀሉ ፡ ፡ ብትታገሱም እርሱ ለታጋሾች በእርግጥ በላጭ ነው ፡ ፡

and if they both desire weaning through mutual consent from both of them and consultation , there is no blame upon either of them . and if you wish to have your children nursed by a substitute , there is no blame upon you as long as you give payment according to what is acceptable .
እናቶችም ልጆቻቸውን ሙሉ የኾኑን ሁለት ዓመታት ያጥቡ ፡ ፡ ( ይህም ) ማጥባትን መሙላት ለሻ ሰው ነው ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም በተወለደለት ( አባት ) ላይ ምግባቸውና ልብሳቸው በችሎታው ልክ አለበት ፡ ፡ ነፍስ ችሎታዋን እንጂ አትገደድም ፡ ፡ ወላጂት ( እናት ) በልጅዋ ምክንያት ለርሱ የተወለደለትም ( አባት ) በልጁ ምክንያት አይጎዳዱ ፡ ፡ በወራሽም ላይ እንደዚሁ ብጤ አለበት ፡ ፡ ( ወላጆቹ ) ከሁለቱም በኾነ መዋደድና መመካከር ( ልጁን ከጡት ) መነጠልን ቢፈልጉ በሁለቱም ላይ ኃጢኣት የለባቸውም ፡ ፡ ልጆቻችሁንም ለሌሎች አጥቢዎች ማስጠባትን ብትፈልጉ ልትሰጡ የሻችሁትን በመልካም ኹኔታ በሰጣችሁ ጊዜ ( በማስጠባታችሁ ) በእናንተ ላይ ኃጢኣት የለባችሁም ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፤ አላህም የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ተመልካች መኾኑን ዕወቁ ፡ ፡

so he began to build the ark , and whenever leaders of his people passed by , they scoffed at him . he said , " if you are scoffing at us , we shall scoff at you [ and your ignorance ] , just as you scoff at us :
ከወገኖቹም መሪዎቹ በእርሱ አጠገብ ባለፉ ቁጥር ከእርሱ እየተሳለቁ መርከቢቱን ይሠራል ፡ ፡ « ከእኛ ብትሳለቁ እኛም እንደተሳለቃችሁብን ከናንተ እንሳለቅባችኋለን » አላቸው ፡ ፡

faint not in seeking the heathen ; if you are suffering , they are also suffering as you are suffering , and you are hoping from god for that for which they cannot hope ; god is all-knowing , all-wise .
ሰዎቹንም በመፈለግ አትስነፉ ፡ ፡ ( ስትቆስሉ ) የምትታመሙ ብትኾኑ እናንተ እንደምትታመሙ እነሱም ይታመማሉ ፡ ፡ የማይከጅሉትንም ከአላህ ትከጅላላችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

do not be faint of heart in pursuing these people : if you happen to suffer harm they too are suffering just as you are , while you may hope from allah what they cannot hope for . allah is all-knowing , all- wise .
ሰዎቹንም በመፈለግ አትስነፉ ፡ ፡ ( ስትቆስሉ ) የምትታመሙ ብትኾኑ እናንተ እንደምትታመሙ እነሱም ይታመማሉ ፡ ፡ የማይከጅሉትንም ከአላህ ትከጅላላችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

permitted for you are those that lie outside these limits , provided you seek them in legal marriage , with gifts from your property , seeking wedlock , not prostitution . if you wish to enjoy them , then give them their dowry — a legal obligation .
ከሴቶችም ( በባል ) ጥብቆቹ እጆቻቸሁ ( በምርኮ ) የያዙዋቸው ሲቀሩ በእናንተ ላይ እርም ናቸው ፡ ፡ ( ይህን ) አላህ በናንተ ላይ ጻፈ ፡ ፡ ከዚሃችሁም ( ከተከለከሉት ) ወዲያ ጥብቆች ኾናችሁ ዝሙተኞች ሳትኾኑ በገንዘቦቻችሁ ልትፈልጉ ለእናንተ ተፈቀደ ፡ ፡ ከእነሱም በርሱ ( በመገናኘት ) የተጠቀማችሁባቸውን ሴቶች መህሮቻቸውን ግዴታ ሲኾን ስጧቸው ፡ ፡ ከመወሰንም በኋላ በተዋደዳችሁበት ነገር በእናንተ ላይ ኀጢአት የለም ፡ ፡ አላህ ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነውና ፡ ፡

say , “ have you considered ? if god 's punishment came upon you , or the hour overtook you , would you call upon any other than god , if you are sincere ? ”
የአላህ ቅጣት ቢመጣባችሁ ወይም ሰዓቲቱ ( ትንሣኤ ) ብትመጣባችሁ ከአላህ ሌላን ትጠራላችሁን እውነተኞች እንደ ኾናችሁ ንገሩኝ በላቸው ፡ ፡

and don 't be weak in the pursuit of the enemy ; if you are suffering ( hardships ) then surely , they ( too ) are suffering ( hardships ) as you are suffering , but you have a hope from allah ( for the reward , i.e. paradise ) that for which they hope not , and allah is ever all-knowing , all-wise .
