nor given leave to make excuses .
ይቅርታም ይጠይቁ ዘንድ ፤ ለእነርሱ አይፈቀድላቸውም ፡ ፡

leave to me the one , whom i have created all by myself ,
አንድ ኾኖ ከፈጠርኩት ሰው ጋር ተዎኝ ( እኔ እበቃሃለሁ ) ፡ ፡

to remain in them forever . with allah indeed is a great reward .
በውስጧ ዘላለም ዘውታሪዎች ሲኾኑ ( ያበስራቸዋል ) ፡ ፡ አላህ እርሱ ዘንድ ታላቅ ምንዳ አለና ፡ ፡

we saved him and all his family , except his wife , who was made to remain ,
እርሱንና ቤተሰቦቹንም አዳንናቸው ሚስቱ ብቻ ስትቀር ፡ ፡ እርሷ ( ለጥፋት ) ከቀሩት ኾነች ፡ ፡

except the way to hell , to remain in it forever , and that is easy for allah .
ግን በውስጧ ዘለዓለም ዘውታሪዎች ሲኾኑ የገሀነምን መንገድ ( ይመራቸዋል ) ፡ ፡ ይህም በአላህ ላይ ገር ነው ፡ ፡

and be thou patient ; god will not leave to waste the wage of the good-doers .
ታገስም ፤ አላህ የበጎ ሠሪዎችን ምንዳ አያጠፋምና ፡ ፡

enter the gates of hell , to remain therein forever . what a terrible dwelling for the arrogant .
የገሀነምን በሮች በውስጧ ዘውታሪዎች ስትኾኑ ግቡ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡ የትዕቢተኞችም መኖሪያ ( ገሀነም ) ምን ትከፋ !

he said : as thou hast caused me to remain disappointed i will certainly lie in wait for them in thy straight path .
« ስለአጠመምከኝም ለእነርሱ በቀጥተኛው መንገድ ላይ በእርግጥ እቀመጥባቸዋለሁ » አለ ፡ ፡

he responded , " did i not tell you that you will not be able to remain patient with me ? "
« አንተ ከኔ ጋር ትእግሥትን ፈጽሞ አትችልም አላልኩህምን » አለ ፡ ፡

and how many angels are in the heavens whose intercession availeth naught save after allah giveth leave to whom he chooseth and accepteth .
በሰማያት ውስጥ ካለ መልአክም ብዙዎች ( ሊማለዱለት ) ለሚሻውና ለሚወደው ሰው ከፈቀደ በኋላ ቢኾን እንጅ ምልጃቸው ምንም አትጠቅምም ፡ ፡

but the blame is to be laid on those who asked permission of you whilst they are rich . they are content to remain with those who stay behind .
( የወቀሳ ) መንገዱ በእነዚያ እነሱ ባለጸጋዎች ኾነው ሳሉ ለመቅረት ፈቃድ በሚጠይቁህ ሰዎች ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ከቀሪዎቹ ጋር መኾናቸውን ወደዱ ፡ ፡ አላህም በልቦቻቸው ላይ አተመባቸው ፤ ስለዚህ እነሱ አያውቁም ፡ ፡

so he caused hypocrisy to take root in their hearts and to remain therein until the day they meet him because they broke their promise with allah and because they lied .
አላህንም ቃል የገቡለትን በማፍረሳቸውና ይዋሹትም በነበሩት ምክንያት እስከሚገናኙት ቀን ድረስ ንፍቅናን አስከተላቸው ፡ ፡

but those who denied the truth and rejected our signs shall be the inmates of the fire , there to remain -- what an evil destination !
እነዚያም የካዱና በአንቀጾቻችን ያስተባበሉ እነዚያ በውስጡ ዘውታሪዎች ሲኾኑ የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ፤ መመለሻቸውም ከፋ !

allah has prepared for them gardens with streams running in them , to remain in them [ forever ] . that is the great success .
ለእነሱም ገነቶችን በሥራቸው ወንዞች የሚፈሱባቸውን በውስጣቸው ዘውታሪዎች ሲኾኑ አላህ አዘጋጅቶላቸዋል ፡ ፡ ይህ ታላቅ ማግኘት ነው ፡ ፡

allah will say , ‘ this day truthfulness shall benefit the truthful . for them there will be gardens with streams running in them , to remain in them forever .
አላህ ይላል ፡ - « ይህ እውነተኞችን እውነታቸው የሚጠቅምበት ቀን ነው ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱ በሥሮቻቸው ወንዞች የሚፈሱባቸው በውስጣቸው ሁልጊዜ ዘውታሪዎች ሲኾኑ የሚኖሩባቸው ገነቶች አሉዋቸው ፡ ፡ አላህ ከእነሱ ወደደ ፤ እነርሱም ከእርሱ ወደዱ ፤ ይህ ታላቅ ዕድል ነው ፡ ፡ »

blame will lie on those who are rich yet ask your leave to stay behind . they prefer to stay with women who stay at home , and god seals their hearts ; so they do not understand .
( የወቀሳ ) መንገዱ በእነዚያ እነሱ ባለጸጋዎች ኾነው ሳሉ ለመቅረት ፈቃድ በሚጠይቁህ ሰዎች ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ከቀሪዎቹ ጋር መኾናቸውን ወደዱ ፡ ፡ አላህም በልቦቻቸው ላይ አተመባቸው ፤ ስለዚህ እነሱ አያውቁም ፡ ፡

allah has promised the hypocrites , men and women , and the faithless , the fire of hell , to remain in it [ forever ] . that suffices them .
መናፍቃንንና መናፍቃትን ፣ ከሓዲዎችንም አላህ የገሀነምን እሳት በውስጧ ዘውታሪዎች ሲኾኑ ቃል ገብቶላቸዋል ፡ ፡ እርሷ በቂያቸው ናት ፡ ፡ አላህም ረግሟቸዋል ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም ዘውታሪ ቅጣት አላቸው ፡ ፡

allah has forgiven you ! why did you give them leave ( to stay behind ) until it was clear to you which of them was truthful and knew those who lied ?
አላህ ከአንተ ይቅር አለ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ እውነተኛዎቹ ላንተ እስከሚገለጹልህና ውሸታሞቹንም እስከምታውቅ ድረስ ለነርሱ ( እንዲቀሩ ) ለምን ፈቀድክላቸው

( o prophet ) , may allah forgive you ! why did you give them leave to stay behind before it became clear to you as to who were truthful and who were liars ?
አላህ ከአንተ ይቅር አለ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ እውነተኛዎቹ ላንተ እስከሚገለጹልህና ውሸታሞቹንም እስከምታውቅ ድረስ ለነርሱ ( እንዲቀሩ ) ለምን ፈቀድክላቸው

and among them is he who says , " permit me [ to remain at home ] and do not put me to trial . " unquestionably , into trial they have fallen .
ከነሱም ውስጥ « ለእኔ ፍቀድልኝ አትሞክረኝም » የሚል ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ ንቁ ! በመከራ ውስጥ ወደቁ ፡ ፡ ገሀነምም ከሓዲዎችን በእርግጥ ከባቢ ናት ፡ ፡
