what ails you , that you look not for majesty in god ,
ለአላህ ልቅናን የማትሹት ለእናንተ ምን አላችሁ ?

he said , “ by your majesty , i will seduce them all .
( እርሱም ) አለ « በአሸናፊነትህ ይኹንብኝ ፤ በመላ አሳስታቸዋለሁ ፡ ፡ »

what aileth you that ye expect not in allah majesty !
ለአላህ ልቅናን የማትሹት ለእናንተ ምን አላችሁ ?

blessed be the name of your lord , full of majesty and beneficience .
የግርማና የመክበር ባለቤት የኾነው ጌታህ ስም ተባረከ ፡ ፡

blessed be the name of your lord , the lord of majesty and glory .
የግርማና የመክበር ባለቤት የኾነው ጌታህ ስም ተባረከ ፡ ፡

and the face of your lord full of majesty and honour will abide forever .
የልቅናና የልግሥና ባለቤት የኾነው የጌታህ ፊትም ይቀራል ፡ ፡ ( አይጠፋም ) ፡ ፡

blessed be the name of thy lord , full of majesty , bounty and honour .
የግርማና የመክበር ባለቤት የኾነው ጌታህ ስም ተባረከ ፡ ፡

and there will remain the face of your lord , owner of majesty and honor .
የልቅናና የልግሥና ባለቤት የኾነው የጌታህ ፊትም ይቀራል ፡ ፡ ( አይጠፋም ) ፡ ፡

hallowed be thine lord , the lord of majesty , from that which they ascribe !
የማሸነፍ ጌታ የሆነው ጌታህ ከሚሉት ሁሉ ጠራ ፡ ፡

and there will remain the countenance of thine lord , owner of majesty and beneficence .
የልቅናና የልግሥና ባለቤት የኾነው የጌታህ ፊትም ይቀራል ፡ ፡ ( አይጠፋም ) ፡ ፡

upon the day that heaven is split asunder with the clouds and the angels are sent down in majesty ,
ሰማይም በደመና የምትቀደድበትንና መላእክትም መወረድን የሚወርድበትን ቀን ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

blessed be the name of your lord ( allah ) , the owner of majesty and honour .
የግርማና የመክበር ባለቤት የኾነው ጌታህ ስም ተባረከ ፡ ፡

and his alone is the majesty in the heavens and the earth , and he is the mighty , the wise .
ኩራትም በሰማያትም በምድርም ለእርሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱም አሸነፊው ጥበበኛው ነው ፡ ፡

he exalted be the majesty of our lord , who has neither taken to himself a wife , nor a son !
‹ እነሆም የጌታችን ክብር ላቀ ፡ ፡ ሚስትንም ልጅንም አልያዘም ፡ ፡ ›

allah ( befitting his majesty ) mocks them , leaving them to wander blindly in their rebellion .
አላህ በነሱ ይሳለቅባቸዋል ፤ በጥመታቸውም ውስጥ የሚዋልሉ ሲኾኑ ያዘገያቸዋል ፡ ፡

and verily we shall make you to dwell in the land after them . this is for him who feareth my majesty and feareth my threats .
« ከእነሱም በኋላ ምድሪቱን በእርግጥ እናስቀምጣችኋለን ፡ ፡ ይኸ በፊቴ መቆሙን ለሚፈራ ዛቻዬንም ለሚፈራ ሰው ነው ፡ ፡ »

and unto him ( alone ) belongeth majesty in the heavens and the earth , and he is the mighty , the wise .
ኩራትም በሰማያትም በምድርም ለእርሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱም አሸነፊው ጥበበኛው ነው ፡ ፡

for we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our lord jesus christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
የእርሱን ግርማ አይተን እንጂ በብልሃት የተፈጠረውን ተረት ሳንከተል የጌታችንን የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስን ኃይልና መምጣት አስታወቅናችሁ።

and that “ he – exalted be his majesty – has not taken to himself either a wife or a son ” ;
‹ እነሆም የጌታችን ክብር ላቀ ፡ ፡ ሚስትንም ልጅንም አልያዘም ፡ ፡ ›

' and exalted be the majesty of our lord , he has taken neither a wife , nor a son ( or offspring or children ) .
‹ እነሆም የጌታችን ክብር ላቀ ፡ ፡ ሚስትንም ልጅንም አልያዘም ፡ ፡ ›
