ጆሮዎቻችሁ ዓይኖቻችሁና ቆዳዎቻችሁም በእናንተ ላይ ከመመስከራቸው የምትደበቁ አልነበራችሁም ፡ ፡ ግን አላህ ከምትሠሩት ብዙውን አያውቅም ብላችሁ ጠረጠራችሁ ፡ ፡

ye have not been taking cover against yourselves lest your ears and your eyes and your skins should bear witness against you , but ye imagined that allah not much knew of that which ye were working .
ጆሮዎቻችሁ ዓይኖቻችሁና ቆዳዎቻችሁም በእናንተ ላይ ከመመስከራቸው የምትደበቁ አልነበራችሁም ፡ ፡ ግን አላህ ከምትሠሩት ብዙውን አያውቅም ብላችሁ ጠረጠራችሁ ፡ ፡

and some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:
ሌላውም ብዙ መሬት በሌለበት በጭንጫ ላይ ወደቀና ጥልቅ መሬት ስላልነበረው ወዲያው በቀለ፤

and you have not been hiding against yourselves , lest your ears , and your eyes , and your skins testify against you , but you thought that allah knew not much of what you were doing .
ጆሮዎቻችሁ ዓይኖቻችሁና ቆዳዎቻችሁም በእናንተ ላይ ከመመስከራቸው የምትደበቁ አልነበራችሁም ፡ ፡ ግን አላህ ከምትሠሩት ብዙውን አያውቅም ብላችሁ ጠረጠራችሁ ፡ ፡

furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the father of spirits, and live?
ከዚህም በላይ የቀጡን የሥጋችን አባቶች ነበሩን እናፍራቸውም ነበር፤ እንዴትስ ይልቅ ለመናፍስት አባት አብልጠን ልንገዛና በሕይወት ልንኖር በተገባን?

we understand not much of that thou tellest , and lo ! we do behold thee weak among us . but for thy family , we should have stoned thee , for thou art not strong against us .
« ሹዐይብ ሆይ ! ከምትለው ነገር ብዙውን አናውቀውም ፡ ፡ እኛም አንተን በእኛ ውስጥ ደካማ ሆነህ እናይሃለን ፡ ፡ ጎሳዎችህም ባልኖሩ ኖሮ በወገርንህ ነበር ፤ አንተም በእኛ ላይ የተከበርክ አይደለህም » አሉት ፡ ፡

behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly father feedeth them. are ye not much better than they?
ወደ ሰማይ ወፎች ተመልከቱ፤ አይዘሩም አያጭዱምም በጎተራም አይከቱም፥ የሰማዩ አባታችሁም ይመግባቸዋል፤ እናንተ ከእነርሱ እጅግ አትበልጡምን?

they said : o shu 'aib ! we understanand not much of that which thou sayest , and verily we see thee weak among us , and were it not for thy company we had surely stoned thee , and thou art not among us mighty .
« ሹዐይብ ሆይ ! ከምትለው ነገር ብዙውን አናውቀውም ፡ ፡ እኛም አንተን በእኛ ውስጥ ደካማ ሆነህ እናይሃለን ፡ ፡ ጎሳዎችህም ባልኖሩ ኖሮ በወገርንህ ነበር ፤ አንተም በእኛ ላይ የተከበርክ አይደለህም » አሉት ፡ ፡
