እየመጡም ይጠመቁ ነበር ዮሐንስ ገና ወደ ወኅኒ አልተጨመረም ነበርና።

no ! man has not yet accomplished what he commanded him .
በእውነት ያንን ( ጌታው ) ያዘዘውን ገና አልፈጸመም ፡ ፡

not one – he has not yet completed what he was commanded .
በእውነት ያንን ( ጌታው ) ያዘዘውን ገና አልፈጸመም ፡ ፡

ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
ከኃጢአት ጋር እየተጋደላችሁ ገና ደምን እስከ ማፍሰስ ድረስ አልተቃወማችሁም፤

no indeed ! he has not yet carried out what he has commanded him .
በእውነት ያንን ( ጌታው ) ያዘዘውን ገና አልፈጸመም ፡ ፡

if we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
ባናምነው፥ እርሱ የታመነ ሆኖ ይኖራል፤ ራሱን ሊክድ አይችልምና።

and others from them , who have not yet joined them . he is the glorious , the wise .
ከነሱም ሌሎች ገና ያልተጠጉዋቸው በኾኑት ላይ ( የላከው ነው ) ፡ ፡ እርሱም አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው ነው ፡ ፡

along with others of them who have not yet joined them . he is the mighty , the wise .
ከነሱም ሌሎች ገና ያልተጠጉዋቸው በኾኑት ላይ ( የላከው ነው ) ፡ ፡ እርሱም አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው ነው ፡ ፡

and also others of them who have not yet joined them . and he is the mighty ; the wise .
ከነሱም ሌሎች ገና ያልተጠጉዋቸው በኾኑት ላይ ( የላከው ነው ) ፡ ፡ እርሱም አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው ነው ፡ ፡

then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.
ስለዚህ ሊይዙት ይፈልጉ ነበር፤ ነገር ግን ጊዜው ገና ስላልደረሰ ማንም እጁን አልጫነበትም።

and others who have not yet joined , and he will give them wisdom . before this they had been in plain error .
ከነሱም ሌሎች ገና ያልተጠጉዋቸው በኾኑት ላይ ( የላከው ነው ) ፡ ፡ እርሱም አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው ነው ፡ ፡

and others of them who have not yet joined them . and he is the all-mighty , the all-wise .
ከነሱም ሌሎች ገና ያልተጠጉዋቸው በኾኑት ላይ ( የላከው ነው ) ፡ ፡ እርሱም አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው ነው ፡ ፡

did you think that you would enter paradise even though allah has not yet seen who among you strove hard in his way and remained steadfast ?
በእውነቱ አላህ ከናንተ እነዚያን የታገሉትን ሳያውቅ ( ሳይለይ ) ታጋሾቹንም ሳያውቅ ገነትን ልትገቡ አሰባችሁን

and [ to ] others of them who have not yet joined them . and he is the exalted in might , the wise .
ከነሱም ሌሎች ገና ያልተጠጉዋቸው በኾኑት ላይ ( የላከው ነው ) ፡ ፡ እርሱም አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው ነው ፡ ፡

and ( he has also ) sent him to those others who have not yet joined them . he is the most mighty , the most wise .
ከነሱም ሌሎች ገና ያልተጠጉዋቸው በኾኑት ላይ ( የላከው ነው ) ፡ ፡ እርሱም አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው ነው ፡ ፡

and he bequeathed you their lands and their houses and their wealth , and land that you have not yet set foot upon ; and allah is able to do all things .
ምድራቸውንም ፣ ቤቶቻቸውንም ፣ ገንዘቦቻቸውንም ገና ያልረገጣችኋትንም ምድር አወረሳችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ቻይ ነው ፡ ፡

delighting in what god has given them out of his grace , and happy for those who have not yet joined them ; that they have nothing to fear , nor will they grieve .
አላህ ከችሮታው በሰጣቸው ነገር ተደሳቾች ሲኾኑ ( ይመገባሉ ) ፡ ፡ በነዚያም ከኋላቸው ገና በእነርሱ ባልተከተሉት በእነርሱ ላይ ፍርሃት ባለመኖሩና እነርሱም የማያዝኑ በመኾናቸው ይደሰታሉ ፡ ፡

allah made you inherit their land , their dwellings , and their goods , and a piece of land on which you had not yet trodden . verily allah has power over all things .
ምድራቸውንም ፣ ቤቶቻቸውንም ፣ ገንዘቦቻቸውንም ገና ያልረገጣችኋትንም ምድር አወረሳችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ቻይ ነው ፡ ፡

and to others from among them [ as well ] who have not yet joined them . and he is the all-mighty , the all-wise .
