have you not regarded that they rove in every valley ,
እነርሱ በ ( ንግግር ) ሸለቆ ሁሉ የሚዋልሉ መኾናቸውን አታይምን

he said , ‘ have you regarded what you have been worshipping ,
« ትግገዙት የነበራችሁትን አስተዋላችሁን

have you not regarded how god created seven heavens one upon another ,
አላህ ሰባትን ሰማያት አንዱ ካንዱ በላይ ሲኾን እንዴት እንደፈጠረ አታዩምን ?

have you not regarded how your lord dealt with the army of the elephants ?
በዝሆኑ ባለቤቶች ጌታህ እንዴት እንደሠራ አላወቅህምን ?

have they not regarded how allah originates the creation ? then he will bring it back .
አላህ መፍጠርን እንዴት እንደሚጀመር ከዚያም እንዴት እንደሚመልሰው አይመለከቱምን ይህ በአላህ ላይ ቀላል ነው ፡ ፡

have they not regarded how many generations we have destroyed before them who will not come back to them ?
ከእነርሱ በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች ብዙዎችን ማጥፋታችንንና እነርሱ ወደነርሱ የማይመለሱ መኾናቸውን አላወቁምን ?

hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of god , how they are turned about ?
ወደእነዚያ በአላህ አንቀጾች ወደሚከራከሩት ( ከእምነት ) እንዴት እንደሚመለሱ አታይምን ?

but on that day their excuse shall not profit those who were unjust , nor shall they be regarded with goodwill .
በዚያም ቀን እነዚያን የበደሉትን ማመካኘታቸው አይጠቅማቸውም ፡ ፡ እነርሱም በወቀሳ አይታለፉም ፡ ፡

has not man regarded how that we created him of a sperm-drop ? then lo , he is a manifest adversary .
ሰውየው እኛ ከፍቶት ጠብታ የፈጠርነው መኾናችን አላወቀምን ? ወዲያውም እርሱ ( ትንሣኤን በመካድ ) ግልጽ ተከራካሪ ይኾናልን ?

hast thou not regarded those who were given a share of the book purchasing error , and desiring that you should also err from the way ?
ወደነዚያ ከመጽሐፉ ( ዕውቀት ) ዕድልን ወደ ተሰጡት አላየህምን ጥመትን ( በቅንነት ) ይገዛሉ ፡ ፡ መንገድንም እንድትሳሳቱ ይፈልጋሉ ፡ ፡

and among you he who takes them for allies , shall be regarded as one of them . allah does not guide the wrong-doers .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አይሁዶችንና ክርስቲያኖችን ረዳቶች አድርጋችሁ አትያዙ ፡ ፡ ከፊላቸው ለከፊሉ ረዳቶች ናቸው ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም ውስጥ ረዳቶች የሚያደርጋቸው ሰው እርሱ ከነርሱ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህ አመጸኞችን ሕዝቦች አያቀናም ፡ ፡

have they not regarded the birds above them spreading their wings , and closing them ? naught holds them but the all-merciful .
ወደ አእዋፍ ከበላያቸው ክንፎቻቸውን ዘርግተው ተንሳፋፊዎች የሚሰበሰቡም ሲኾኑ አላዩምን ? ከአልረሕማን በቀር ( ባየር ላይ ) የሚይዛቸው የለም ፡ ፡ እርሱ በነገሩ ሁሉ ተመልካች ነው ፡ ፡

have they not regarded the birds disposed in the air of the sky : no one sustains them except allah . there are indeed signs in that for a people who have faith .
ወደ በራሪዎች በሰማይ አየር ውስጥ ( ለመብረር ) የተገሩ ሲኾኑ ( ከመውደቅ ) አላህ እንጂ ሌላ የማይዛቸው ኾነው አይመለከቱምን በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚያምኑ ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ ተዓምራቶች አሉ ፡ ፡

have the faithless not regarded that the heavens and the earth were interwoven and we unravelled them , and we made every living thing out of water ? will they not then have faith ?
እነዚያም የካዱት ሰማያትና ምድር የተጣበቁ የነበሩና የለያየናቸው መኾናችንን አያውቁምን ሕያው የኾነንም ነገር ሁሉ ከውሃ ፈጠርን ፡ ፡ አያምኑምን

hast thou not regarded those who have taken for friends a people against whom god is wrathful ? they belong neither to you nor to them ; and they swear upon falsehood , and that wittingly .
ወደእነዚያ አላህ በእነርሱ ላይ የተቆጣባቸውን ሕዝቦች ወደ ተወዳጁት ( መናፍቃን ) አላየኽምን ? እነርሱ ከእናንተ አይደሉም ፡ ፡ ከእነርሱም አይደሉም ፡ ፡ እነርሱም የሚያውቁ ሲኾኑ በውሸት ላይ ይምላሉ ፡ ፡

hast thou not regarded those who purify themselves ? nay ; only god purifies whom he will ; and they shall not be wronged a single date-thread .
ወደእነዚያ ነፍሶቻቸውን ወደ ሚያጠሩት ( የሚያወድሱት ) አላየህምን አይደለም ፤ አላህ የሚፈልገውን ያጠራል ፡ ፡ የተምር ፍሬ ክር ያህልም አይበደሉም ፡ ፡

have you not regarded that allah makes the night pass into the day and makes the day pass into the night ; and he has disposed the sun and the moon , each moving for a specified term , and that allah is well aware of what you do ?
አላህ ሌሊትን በቀን ውስጥ የሚያስገባ ፣ ቀንንም በሌሊት ውስጥ የሚያስገባ ፣ ፀሐይንና ጨረቃንም የገራ መሆኑን አታይምን ? ሁሉም እስከ ተወሰነ ጊዜ ድረስ ይሮጣሉ ፡ ፡ አላህም በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ውስጠ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and they sold him for a low price , - for a few dirhams ( i.e. for a few silver coins ) . and they were of those who regarded him insignificant .
በርካሽ ዋጋም በሚቆጠሩ ዲርሃሞች ሸጡት ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ከቸልተኞቹ ነበሩ ፡ ፡
