ለእናንተ መገሰጫ ልናደርጋት አጥኒ የኾነችም ጆሮ ታጠናት ዘንድ ፡ ፡

whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
ኃጢአታቸውን ይቅር ያላችኋቸው ሁሉ ይቀርላቸዋል፤ የያዛችሁባቸው ተይዞባቸዋል አላቸው።

for , if you do not do so , then know that you are at war with god and his messenger . but if you repent , you may retain your capital .
( የታዘዛችሁትን ) ባትሠሩም ከአላህና ከመልክተኛው በኾነች ጦር ( መወጋታችሁን ) ዕወቁ ፡ ፡ ብትጸጸቱም ለእናንተ የገንዘቦቻችሁ ዋናዎች አሏችሁ ፡ ፡ አትበድሉም አትበደሉምም ፡ ፡

and even as they did not like to retain god in their knowledge, god gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
እግዚአብሔርን ለማወቅ ባልወደዱት መጠን እግዚአብሔር የማይገባውን ያደርጉ ዘንድ ለማይረባ አእምሮ አሳልፎ ሰጣቸው፤

once they have reached their term , either retain them honorably , or separate from them honorably . and call to witness two just people from among you , and give upright testimony for god .
ጊዜያቸውንም ለመዳረስ በተቃረቡ ጊዜ በመልካም ያዙዋቸው ፡ ፡ ወይም በመልካም ተለያዩዋቸው ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም ውስጥ ሁለት የትክክለኛነት ባለቤቶችን አስመስክሩ ፡ ፡ ምስክርነትንም ለአላህ አስተካክሉ ፡ ፡ ይህ በአላህና በመጨረሻው ቀን የሚያምን የኾነ ሰው ሁሉ በእርሱ ይገሰጽበታል ፡ ፡ አላህንም የሚፈራ ሰው ለእርሱ መውጫን ያደርግለታል ፡ ፡

he hides from the people out of distress at the news he has been brought : shall he retain it in humiliation , or bury it in the ground ! behold !
በእርሱ ከተበሰረበት ነገር መጥፎነት በውርደት ላይ ኾኖ ይያዘውን ወይስ በዐፈር ውስጥ ይደብቀውን ( በማለት እያምታታ ) ከሰዎች ይደበቃል ፡ ፡ ንቁ ! የሚፈርዱት ( ፍርድ ) ምንኛ ከፋ !

if any of your women is guilty of unnatural offence , bring four of your witnesses to give evidence ; if they testify against them , retain them in the houses until death overtakes them or god provides some other way for them .
እነዚያም ከሴቶቻችሁ መጥፎን ሥራ ( ዝሙትን ) የሚሠሩ በእነርሱ ላይ ከናንተ አራትን ( ወንዶች ) አስመስክሩባቸው ፡ ፡ ቢመሰክሩም ሞት እስከሚደርስባቸው ወይም አላህ ለእነርሱ መንገድን እስከሚያደርግ ድረስ በቤቶች ውሰጥ ያዙዋቸው ( ጠብቁዋቸው ) ፡ ፡

that we might make it a message unto you , and that ears ( that should hear the tale and ) retain its memory should bear its ( lessons ) in remembrance .

allah effaces whatever he wills and retains whatever he wills . with him is the mother of the book .
አላህ የሚሻውን ያብሳል ፤ ያጸድቃልም ፡ ፡ የመጽሐፉ መሠረትም እርሱ ዘንድ ነው ፡ ፡
