it is not for me to repel those who choose to believe .
« እኔም አማኞችን አባራሪ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡

he said : " it is not for me to know what they were doing .
( እርሱም ) አላቸው « ይሠሩት በነበሩት ነገር ምን ዕውቀት አለኝ ፡ ፡

those whose eyes were screened to my message , and were unable to hear .
ለዚያ ዓይኖቻቸው ከግሳጼዬ በሺፋን ውስጥ ለነበሩትና መስማትንም የማይችሉ ለነበሩት ( እናቀርባታለን ) ፡ ፡

he has commanded me to be good to my parents and has not made me an arrogant rebellious person .
« ለእናቴም ታዛዥ ( አድርጎኛል ) ፡ ፡ ትዕቢተኛ እምቢተኛም አላደረገኝም ፡ ፡

and all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
ሁሉም እያለቀሱላት ዋይ ዋይ ይሉ ነበር። እርሱ ግን። አታልቅሱ፤ ተኝታለች እንጂ አልሞተችም አለ።

" if thou dost stretch thy hand against me , to slay me , it is not for me to stretch my hand against thee to slay thee : for i do fear allah , the cherisher of the worlds .
« ልትገድለኝ እጅህን ወደኔ ብትዘረጋ እኔ ልገድልህ እጄን ወዳንተ የምዘረጋ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ እኔ የዓለማትን ጌታ አላህን እፈራለሁና » አለ ፡ ፡

“ except him who has created me , for he will soon direct me . ” ( to my place of migration . )
« ከዚያ ከፈጠረኝ በስተቀር ( አልግገዛም ) ፡ ፡ እርሱ በእርግጥ ይመራኛልና ፡ ፡ »

and when our clear revelations are recited to them , those who do not hope to meet us say , “ bring a quran other than this , or change it . ” say , “ it is not for me to change it of my own accord .
አንቀጾቻችንም ግልጽ ኾነው በእነርሱ ላይ በተነበቡላቸው ጊዜ እነዚያ መገናኘታችንን የማይፈሩት ከዚህ ሌላ የሆነን ቁርኣን አምጣልን ወይም ለውጠው ይላሉ ፡ ፡ እኔ ከራሴ በኩል ልለውጠው አይገባኝም ፡ ፡ ወደእኔ የሚወርደውን እንጂ አልከተልም ፡ ፡ እኔ ከጌታዬ ባምጽ የታላቁን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁ በላቸው ፡ ፡

and when our clear revelations are recited unto them , they who look not for the meeting with us say : bring a lecture other than this , or change it . say ( o muhammad ) : it is not for me to change it of my accord .
አንቀጾቻችንም ግልጽ ኾነው በእነርሱ ላይ በተነበቡላቸው ጊዜ እነዚያ መገናኘታችንን የማይፈሩት ከዚህ ሌላ የሆነን ቁርኣን አምጣልን ወይም ለውጠው ይላሉ ፡ ፡ እኔ ከራሴ በኩል ልለውጠው አይገባኝም ፡ ፡ ወደእኔ የሚወርደውን እንጂ አልከተልም ፡ ፡ እኔ ከጌታዬ ባምጽ የታላቁን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁ በላቸው ፡ ፡

and when our signs are recited to them , clear signs , those who look not to encounter us say , ' bring a koran other than this , or alter it . ' say : ' it is not for me to alter it of my own accord .
አንቀጾቻችንም ግልጽ ኾነው በእነርሱ ላይ በተነበቡላቸው ጊዜ እነዚያ መገናኘታችንን የማይፈሩት ከዚህ ሌላ የሆነን ቁርኣን አምጣልን ወይም ለውጠው ይላሉ ፡ ፡ እኔ ከራሴ በኩል ልለውጠው አይገባኝም ፡ ፡ ወደእኔ የሚወርደውን እንጂ አልከተልም ፡ ፡ እኔ ከጌታዬ ባምጽ የታላቁን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁ በላቸው ፡ ፡

( turning to his nobles ) he said : " change the appearance of her throne . let us see if she is rightly guided , or is not guided at all . "
« ዙፋንዋን ለእርሷ አሳስቱ ፡ ፡ ታውቀው እንደኾነ ወይም ከእነዚያ ከማያወቁት ትኾን እንደሆነ ፤ እናያለን ፤ » አላቸው ፡ ፡
