and that there is not for man except that [ good ] for which he strives
ለሰውም ሁሉ የሠራው እንጅ ሌላ የለውም ፡ ፡

we will try you with a trial of evil and good . then , to us you shall be returned .
ነፍስ ሁሉ ሞትን ቀማሽ ናት ፡ ፡ ለመፈተንም በክፉም በበጎም እንሞክራችኋለን ፡ ፡ ወደኛም ትመለሳላችሁ ፡ ፡

excepting any who may have done wrong and thereafter changeth evil for good then verily i am forgiving , merciful .
« ግን የበደለ ሰው ከዚያም ከመጥፎ ሥራው በኋላ መልካምን የለወጠ እኔ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነኝ ፡ ፡

and most surely i am most forgiving to him who repents and believes and does good , then continues to follow the right direction .
እኔም ለተጸጸተ ፣ ላመነም ፣ መልካምንም ለሠራ ፣ ከዚያም ለተመራ ሰው በእርግጥ መሓሪ ነኝ ፡ ፡

if allah touch thee with hurt there is no reverser thereof but he , and if he touch thee with good , then he is over everything potent .
አላህም በጉዳት ቢነካህ ለእርሱ ( ለጉዳቱ ) ከእርሱ በቀር ሌላ አስወጋጅ የለም ፡ ፡ በበጎም ነገር ቢነካህ እርሱ በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ቻይ ነው ፡ ፡

and if allah touches you with harm , none can remove it but he , and if he touches you with good , then he is able to do all things .
አላህም በጉዳት ቢነካህ ለእርሱ ( ለጉዳቱ ) ከእርሱ በቀር ሌላ አስወጋጅ የለም ፡ ፡ በበጎም ነገር ቢነካህ እርሱ በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ቻይ ነው ፡ ፡

" except him who has done wrong and afterwards has changed evil for good , then surely , i am oft-forgiving , most merciful .
« ግን የበደለ ሰው ከዚያም ከመጥፎ ሥራው በኋላ መልካምን የለወጠ እኔ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነኝ ፡ ፡

and if allah should touch you with adversity , there is no remover of it except him . and if he touches you with good - then he is over all things competent .
አላህም በጉዳት ቢነካህ ለእርሱ ( ለጉዳቱ ) ከእርሱ በቀር ሌላ አስወጋጅ የለም ፡ ፡ በበጎም ነገር ቢነካህ እርሱ በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ቻይ ነው ፡ ፡
