በዚህ ውስጥ ለተመልካቾች በእርግጥ መገምገሚያዎች አሉበት ፡ ፡

we made their fate an example to their own generation and to those who followed them and a lesson to those who fear god .
( ቅጣቲቱንም ) ለነዚያ በስተፊትዋ ለነበሩትና ለነዚያም ከበኋላዋ ላሉት ( ሕዝቦች ) መቀጣጫ ለፈራህያንም መገሰጫ አደረግናት ፡ ፡

this is a lesson for those who worship ( god ) .
በዚህ ( ቁርኣን ) ውስጥ ለተገዢዎች ሕዝቦች በቂነት አልለ ፡ ፡

and we made it a deterrent punishment for those who were present and those who succeeded [ them ] and a lesson for those who fear allah .
( ቅጣቲቱንም ) ለነዚያ በስተፊትዋ ለነበሩትና ለነዚያም ከበኋላዋ ላሉት ( ሕዝቦች ) መቀጣጫ ለፈራህያንም መገሰጫ አደረግናት ፡ ፡

and those who say , “ our lord , grant us delight in our spouses and our children , and make us a good example for the righteous . ”
እነዚያም « ጌታችን ሆይ ! ከሚስቶቻችንና ከዘሮቻችን ለዓይኖች መርጊያን ለእኛ ስጠን ፡ ፡ አላህን ለሚፈሩትም መሪ አድርገን » የሚሉት ናቸው ፡ ፡

allah alternates the night and the day . indeed in that is a lesson for those who have vision .
አላህ ሌሊትንና ቀንን ያገላብጣል ፡ ፡ በዚህም ለባለ ውስጥ ዓይኖች በእርግጥ ማስረጃ አልለበት ፡ ፡

አላህ ሌሊትንና ቀንን ያገላብጣል ፡ ፡ በዚህም ለባለ ውስጥ ዓይኖች በእርግጥ ማስረጃ አልለበት ፡ ፡

and surely your lord will be most forgiving and most merciful towards those who left their homes after they were persecuted , and who thereafter struggled hard and remained constant .
ከዚያም ጌታህ ለእነዚያ ከተፈተኑ በኋላ ለተሰደዱት ከዚያም ለታገሉትና ለታገሱት ( መሓሪ አዛኝ ነው ) ፡ ፡ ጌታህ ከእርሷ ( ከፈተናዋ ) በኋላ በእርግጥ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

allah turns over the night and the day ; most surely there is a lesson in this for those who have sight .
አላህ ሌሊትንና ቀንን ያገላብጣል ፡ ፡ በዚህም ለባለ ውስጥ ዓይኖች በእርግጥ ማስረጃ አልለበት ፡ ፡

allah causeth the revolution of the day and the night . lo ! herein is indeed a lesson for those who see .
አላህ ሌሊትንና ቀንን ያገላብጣል ፡ ፡ በዚህም ለባለ ውስጥ ዓይኖች በእርግጥ ማስረጃ አልለበት ፡ ፡

and as esaias said before, except the lord of sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as sodoma, and been made like unto gomorrha.
ኢሳይያስም እንደዚሁ። ጌታ ፀባዖት ዘር ባላስቀረልን እንደ ሰዶም በሆንን ገሞራንም በመሰልን ነበር ብሎ አስቀድሞ ተናገረ።

but those who are ignorant say : " why does god not speak or show us a sign ? " the same question had been asked by men before them , who were like them in their hearts .
እነዚያም የማያውቁት ( አንተ መልክተኛ ስለመኾንህ ) አላህ አያናግረንም ኖሮአልን ? ወይም ( ለእውነተኛነትህ ) ታምር አትመጣልንም ኖሮአልን ? አሉ ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ እነዚያ ከነሱ በፊት የነበሩት እንደ ንግግራቸው ብጤ ብለዋል ፡ ፡ ልቦቻቸው ( በክሕደት ) ተመሳሰሉ ፡ ፡ ለሚያረጋግጡ ሕዝቦች አንቀጾችን በእርግጥ አብራርተናል ፡ ፡

and those who know not , say : wherefore speakest not god unto us ? or cometh not unto us a sign ? thus aid those before them the like of their saying : consimilar are their hearts .
እነዚያም የማያውቁት ( አንተ መልክተኛ ስለመኾንህ ) አላህ አያናግረንም ኖሮአልን ? ወይም ( ለእውነተኛነትህ ) ታምር አትመጣልንም ኖሮአልን ? አሉ ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ እነዚያ ከነሱ በፊት የነበሩት እንደ ንግግራቸው ብጤ ብለዋል ፡ ፡ ልቦቻቸው ( በክሕደት ) ተመሳሰሉ ፡ ፡ ለሚያረጋግጡ ሕዝቦች አንቀጾችን በእርግጥ አብራርተናል ፡ ፡

and those who followed shall say : had there been for us a return , then we would renounce them as they have renounced us . thus will allah show them their deeds to be intense regret to them , and they shall not come forth from the fire .
እነዚያም የተከተሉት « ለእኛ ( ወደ ቅርቢቱ ዓለም ) አንዲት ጊዜ መመለስ በኖረችንና ከእኛ እንደተጥራሩ ከእነርሱ በተጥራራን እንመኛለን » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ አላህ ሥራዎቻቸውን በነርሱ ላይ ጸጸቶች አድርጎ ያሳያቸዋል ፡ ፡ እነርሱም ከእሳት ወጪዎች አይደሉም ፡ ፡

god is well pleased with the foremost ones of those who left their homes for the cause of god , those who helped them after their arrival in medina and those who nobly followed these two groups . he has prepared gardens for them wherein streams flow and wherein they will live forever .
ከስደተኞቹና ከረዳቶቹም ሲኾኑ የመጀመሪያዎቹ ቀዳሚዎች እነዚያም በበጎ ሥራ የተከተሏቸው አላህ ከእነሱ ወዷል ከእርሱም ወደዋል ፡ ፡ በሥሮቻቸውም ወንዞች የሚፈሱባቸውን ገነቶች በውስጣቸው ዘለዓለም ነዋሪዎች ሲኾኑ ለእነርሱ አዘጋጅቶላቸዋል ፡ ፡ ይህ ታላቅ ዕድል ነው ፡ ፡

allah turns about the night and the day ( to succeed one another ) ; surely , in this there is a lesson for those who have eyes .
አላህ ሌሊትንና ቀንን ያገላብጣል ፡ ፡ በዚህም ለባለ ውስጥ ዓይኖች በእርግጥ ማስረጃ አልለበት ፡ ፡

verily in their accounts is a lesson for men of wisdom . this is not a fictitious tale , but a verification of earlier books , and a clear exposition of everything , and a guidance and grace for those who believe .
በታሪካቸው ውስጥ ለአእምሮ ባለ ቤቶች በእርግጥ መገሰጫ ነበረ ፡ ፡ ( ይህ ቁርኣን ) የሚቀጣጠፍ ወሬ አይደለም ፡ ፡ ግን ያንን በስተፊቱ ያለውን አረጋጋጭ ለነገርም ሁሉ ገላጭ ለሚያምኑ ሕዝቦችም መሪና ችሮታ ነው ፡ ፡

when our clear revelations are recited to them , those who do not expect to meet us say , " bring us a different quran , or make some changes in it . " say , " it is not for me to change it of my own accord .
አንቀጾቻችንም ግልጽ ኾነው በእነርሱ ላይ በተነበቡላቸው ጊዜ እነዚያ መገናኘታችንን የማይፈሩት ከዚህ ሌላ የሆነን ቁርኣን አምጣልን ወይም ለውጠው ይላሉ ፡ ፡ እኔ ከራሴ በኩል ልለውጠው አይገባኝም ፡ ፡ ወደእኔ የሚወርደውን እንጂ አልከተልም ፡ ፡ እኔ ከጌታዬ ባምጽ የታላቁን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁ በላቸው ፡ ፡

there are those who say. verily god hath covenanted with us that we should believe not in an apostle until he bring unto us a sacrifice which a fire shall devour . say thou : surety there came unto you apostles before me with evidences and with that which ye speak of , wherefore then did ye slay them , if ye say sooth ?
እነዚያ ለማንኛውም መልክተኛ « እሳት የምትበላው የኾነን ቁርባን እስከሚያመጣልን ድረስ ላናምን አላህ ወደኛ አዟል » ያሉ ናቸው ፡ ፡ « መልክተኞች ከእኔ በፊት በተዓምራትና በዚያም ባላችሁት ( ቁርባን ) በእርግጥ መጥተውላችኋል ፡ ፡ እውነተኞች ከኾናችሁ ታዲያ ለምን ገደላችኋቸው » በላቸው ፡ ፡

surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle : we provide you to drink out of that which is in their bellies between the faeces and the blood - pure milk - which is a palatable drink for those who take it .
ለናንተም በግመል ፣ በከብት ፣ በፍየል በእርግጥ መገምገሚያ አልላችሁ ፡ ፡ በሆዶቹ ውስጥ ካለው ከፈረስና ከደም መካከል ጥሩ ወተትን ለጠጪዎች ተዋጭ ሲሆን እናጠጣችኋለን ፡ ፡
