አንተ በዚህ አገር ሰፋሪ ስትኾን ፡ ፡

he used to live joyfully among his people ,
እርሱ በቤተሰቡ ውስጥ ተደሳች ነበርና ፡ ፡

and you set up fortresses , hoping to live forever ?
« የውሃ ማጠራቀሚያዎችንና ሕንፃዎችንም ዘላለም መኖርን የምትከጅሉ ኾናችሁ ትሠራላችሁን

a gang that i don't want to live in our country
በሀገራችን እንዲኖር የማልፈልገው የወንበዴ ቡድን

and that it is he who causes to die , and causes to live
እነሆ እርሱም ገደለ ፣ አስነሳም ፡ ፡

and raise strong mansions as if you were to live forever ?
« የውሃ ማጠራቀሚያዎችንና ሕንፃዎችንም ዘላለም መኖርን የምትከጅሉ ኾናችሁ ትሠራላችሁን

and that it is he who makes to die , and that makes to live ,
እነሆ እርሱም ገደለ ፣ አስነሳም ፡ ፡

do you believe that you will be left here to live securely in the present state
« በዚያ እዚህ ባለው ( ጸጋ ) ውስጥ የረካችሁ ኾናችሁ ትተዋላችሁን

and do you take to yourselves underground reservoirs , in order to live for ever !
« የውሃ ማጠራቀሚያዎችንና ሕንፃዎችንም ዘላለም መኖርን የምትከጅሉ ኾናችሁ ትሠራላችሁን

it does not allow anyone to live , and neither does it leave anyone to die ;
( ያገኘችውን ሁሉ ) አታስቀርም አትተውምም ፡ ፡

enter the gates of hell to live therein forever . how terrible is the dwelling of the arrogant ones .
የገሀነምን በሮች በውስጧ ዘውታሪዎች ስትኾኑ ግቡ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡ የትዕቢተኞችም መኖሪያ ( ገሀነም ) ምን ትከፋ !

pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
ጸልዩልን፤ በነገር ሁሉ በመልካም እንድንኖር ወደን፥ መልካም ሕሊና እንዳለን ተረድተናልና።

each one of them wishes to live a thousand years . but his prolonged life will surely not remove him from the punishment .
ከሰዎችም ሁሉ ከእነዚያም ( ጣዖትን ) ከአጋሩት ይበልጥ በሕይወት ላይ የሚጓጉ ኾነው በእርግጥ ታገኛቸዋለህ ፡ ፡ አንዳቸው ሺሕ ዓመት ዕድሜ ቢሰጥ ይወዳል ፡ ፡ እርሱም ዕድሜ መሰጠቱ ከቅጣት የሚያርቀው አይደለም ፡ ፡ አላህም የሚሠሩትን ሁሉ ተመልካች ነው ፡ ፡

the excuses of the unjust will be of no benefit to them on that day . they will be condemned to live in a most terrible abode .
በደለኞችን ምክንያታቸው በማይጠቅማቸው ቀን ( እንረዳለን ) ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም ርግማን አልላቸው ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም መጥፎ አገር አልላቸው ፡ ፡

the punishment for one who purposely slays a believer will be to live in hell fire forever . god is angry with him and has condemned him .
ምእመንንም አስቦ የሚገድል ሰው ቅጣቱ በውስጧ ዘውታሪ ሲኾን ገሀነም ናት ፡ ፡ አላህም በርሱ ላይ ተቆጣ ፡ ፡ ረገመውም ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም ከባድ ቅጣትን አዘጋጀ ፡ ፡

through his bounty he has made us to live in the abode of everlasting life , where neither weariness nor fatigue shall touch us '
( እርሱም ) ያ ከችሮታው የዘላለም መኖሪያን አገር ያሰፈረን ነው ፡ ፡ በእርሷ ውስጥ መከራ አይነካንም ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ ድካም አይነካንም ፡ ፡ »

and as such we established joseph in the land to live wherever he liked . we bestow our mercy on whom we will , and we never waste the wage of therighteous .
እንደዚሁም ለዩሱፍ በምድር ላይ ከእርሷ በፈለገው ስፍራ የሚሰፍር ሲሆን አስመቸነው ፡ ፡ በችሮታችን የምንሻውን ሰው እንለያለን ፡ ፡ የበጎ ሠሪዎችንም ዋጋ አናጠፋም ፡ ፡

and thus we established joseph in the land , to live therein wherever he wished . we touch with our mercy whomever we will , and we never waste the reward of the righteous .
እንደዚሁም ለዩሱፍ በምድር ላይ ከእርሷ በፈለገው ስፍራ የሚሰፍር ሲሆን አስመቸነው ፡ ፡ በችሮታችን የምንሻውን ሰው እንለያለን ፡ ፡ የበጎ ሠሪዎችንም ዋጋ አናጠፋም ፡ ፡

and whomsoever we cause to live long , we reduce ( him ) to an abject state in constitution ; do they not then understand ?
ዕድሜውንም የምናረዝመውን ሰው በፍጥረቱ ( ወደ ደካማነት ) እንመልሰዋለን ፤ አያውቁምን ?

we shall act righteously and behave different to what we did before . " they will be told , " did we not allow you to live long enough for you to seek guidance ?
እነርሱም በርሷ ውስጥ እርዳታን በመፈለግ በኀይል ይጮሃሉ ፡ ፡ « ጌታችን ሆይ ! ከእዚያ እንሠራው ከነበርነው ሌላ በጎ ሥራን እንሠራ ዘንድ አውጣን » ( ይላሉ ) ፡ ፡ « በእርሱ ውስጥ ያስታወሰ ሰው የሚገሰጽበትን ዕድሜ አላቆየናችሁምን ? አስጠንቃቂውም መጥቶላችኋል ( አስተባብላችኋልም ) ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ ቅመሱ ፡ ፡ ለበደለኞችም ምንም ረዳት የላቸውም » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡
