ይህ ( ጌታ ) ሙታንን ሕያው በማድረግ ላይ ቻይ አይደለምን ?

lo ! ours it is ( to give ) the guidance
ቅኑን መንገድ መግለጽ በእኛ ላይ አለብን ፡ ፡

but thee we only sent to give glad tidings and admonition .
አብሳሪና አስፈራሪም አድርገን እንጂ አልላክንህም ፡ ፡

i have only received revelation to give you plain warning .
« ወደእኔም አስፈራሪ ገላጭ መኾኔ እንጂ ሌላ አይወረድልኝም » ( በል ) ፡ ፡

yet we have not sent you but to give good tidings and to warn .
አብሳሪና አስፈራሪም አድርገን እንጂ አልላክንህም ፡ ፡

and your lord is going to give you , and you will be satisfied .
ጌታህም ወደ ፊት ( ብዙን ስጦታ ) በእርግጥ ይሰጥሃል ፡ ፡ ትደሰታለህም ፡ ፡

and they have no power to give them help , nor can they help themselves .
ለእነርሱም መርዳትን የማይችሉትን ነፍሶቻቸውንም የማይረዱትን ( ያጋራሉን )

and to give ( it ) the lie you make your means of subsistence .
ሲሳያችሁንም ( ዝናምን ) እናንተ የምታስተባብሉት ታደርጋላችሁን ?

o muhammad , we have sent you only to proclaim good tidings and to give warning .
አብሳሪና አስፈራሪም አድርገን እንጂ አልላክንህም ፡ ፡

and he ordered his people to pray and to give charity and his lord was pleased with him .
ቤተሰቦቹንም በሶላትና በዘካ ያዝ ነበር ፡ ፡ እጌታውም ዘንድ ተወዳጅ ነበር ፡ ፡

do they fancy that our continuing to give them wealth and children ( means ) that
ከገንዘብና ከልጆች በእርሱ የምንጨምርላቸውን ያስባሉን

therefore hasten to god ; truly , i am sent by him to give you clear warning .
« ወደ አላህም ሽሹ ፤ እኔ ለእናንተ ከርሱ ግልጽ አስጠንቃቂ ነኝና » ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

and it is he who created the alternation of the night and day for one who wishes to remember or intends to give thanks .
እርሱም ያ ( ያመለጠውን ሥራ ) ማስታወስን ለሚፈልግ ወይም ማመስገንን ለሚፈልግ ሰው ሌሊትንና ቀንን ተተካኪ ያደረገ ነው ፡ ፡

they say unto him, why did moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?
እነርሱም። እንኪያስ ሙሴ የፍችዋን ጽሕፈት ሰጥተው እንዲፈቱአት ስለ ምን አዘዘ? አሉት።

' only this has been revealed to me : that i am to give warning plainly and publicly . "
« ወደእኔም አስፈራሪ ገላጭ መኾኔ እንጂ ሌላ አይወረድልኝም » ( በል ) ፡ ፡

and they have taken ( for worship ) gods other than allah , to give them power and glory !
ከአላህም ሌላ አማልክትን ለእነሱ መከበሪያ ( አማላጅ ) እንዲኾኑዋቸው ያዙ ፡ ፡

' i am the messenger of your lord ' he replied , ' and have come to give you a pure boy '
« እኔ ንጹሕን ልጅ ለአንቺ ልሰጥሽ የጌታሽ መልክተኛ ነኝ » አላት ፡ ፡

' do not be afraid ' they answered . ' we come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child '
« አትፍራ ፤ እኛ ዐዋቂ በኾነ ወንድ ልጅ እናበስርሃለን » አሉት ፡ ፡

is then one brought up among trinkets , and unable to give a clear account in a dispute ( to be associated with allah ) ?
በጌጥ ( ተከልሶ ) እንዲያድግ የሚደረገውን ? እርሱም ( ለደካማነቱ ) በክርክር የሚያብራራውን ፍጡር ( ሴትን ) ለአላህ ያደርጋሉን ?

obey allah , and obey the messenger . beware ; if you give no heed , know that our messenger 's duty is only to give the clear delivery .
አላህንም ተገዙ ፡ ፡ መልክተኛውንም ታዘዙ ፡ ፡ ተጠንቀቁም ፡ ፡ ብትሸሹም ፤ በመልክተኛችን ላይ ያለበት ግልጽ ማድረስ ብቻ መኾኑን ዕወቁ ፡ ፡
