ልጆች ሆይ፥ ለወላጆቻችሁ በጌታ ታዘዙ፥ ይህ የሚገባ ነውና።

( god ) said : " this is right by me , and what i say is right .
( አላህ ) አለው « እውነቱም ( ከኔ ነው ) ፡ ፡ እውነትንም እላለሁ ፡ ፡

till he reached the point of the rising sun , and saw it rise over a people for whom we had provided no shelter against it .
ወደ ፀሐይ መውጫ በደረሰም ጊዜ ለእነሱ ከበታችዋ መከለያን ባላደረግንላቸው ሕዝቦች ላይ ስትወጣ አገኛት ፡ ፡

when fear comes to them , you see them looking at you , their eyes rolling as though they were on the point of death . but once the fear departs they assail you with their sharp tongues , being greedy to possess good things .
በእናንተ ላይ ( እርዳታን ) የነፈጉ ሆነው እንጅ ( የማይመጡትን ) ፣ ሽብሩም በመጣ ጊዜ እንደዚያ ከሞት ( መከራ ) በርሱ ላይ የሚሸፍን ዐደጋ እንደወደቀበት ዓይኖቻቸው ወዲያና ወዲህ የምትዞር ኾና ወዳንተ ሲመለከቱ ታያቸዋለህ ፡ ፡ ሽብሩም በኼደ ጊዜ በገንዘብ ላይ የሚሳሱ ኾነው በተቡ ምላሶች ይነድፏችኋል ፡ ፡ እነዚያ አላመኑም ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ አላህ ሥራዎቻቸውን አበላሸ ፡ ፡ ይህም በአላህ ላይ ገርነው ፡ ፡

when the husband saw the shirt torn at the back , he said : " surely this is a woman 's ruse , and the wiles of women are great .
ቀሚሱንም ከበስተኋላ ተቀድዶ ባየ ጊዜ « እርሱ ( የተናገርሺው ) ከተንኮላችሁ ነው ( ሴቶች ) ተንኮላችሁ በእርግጥ ብርቱ ነውና » አላት ፡ ፡

so they went on until when they came to the people of a town , they asked them for food , but they refused to entertain them as guests . then they found in it a wall which was on the point of falling , so he put it into a right state .
ኼዱም ፡ ፡ ወደ አንዲት ከተማ ሰዎች በመጡም ጊዜ ነዋሪዎቿን ምግብን ጠየቁ ፡ ፡ ከማስተናገዳቸውም እምቢ አሉ ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ ለመውደቅ የተቃረበን ግድግዳ አገኙ ፡ ፡ ( ኸድር ) አቆመውም ፡ ፡ ( ሙሳም ) « በሻህ ኖሮ በእርሱ ላይ ዋጋን በተቀበልክ ነበር » አለው ፡ ፡

so they twain journeyed on till , when they came unto the folk of a certain township , they asked its folk for food , but they refused to make them guests . and they found therein a wall upon the point of falling into ruin , and he repaired it .
ኼዱም ፡ ፡ ወደ አንዲት ከተማ ሰዎች በመጡም ጊዜ ነዋሪዎቿን ምግብን ጠየቁ ፡ ፡ ከማስተናገዳቸውም እምቢ አሉ ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ ለመውደቅ የተቃረበን ግድግዳ አገኙ ፡ ፡ ( ኸድር ) አቆመውም ፡ ፡ ( ሙሳም ) « በሻህ ኖሮ በእርሱ ላይ ዋጋን በተቀበልክ ነበር » አለው ፡ ፡

at the same time those who have been given knowledge may know that this is the truth from your lord , and come to believe in it , and their hearts become submissive to him . verily god guides those who believe , to the even path .
እነዚያም ዕውቀትን የተሰጡት እርሱ ( ቁርኣን ) ከጌታህ የኾነ እውነት መኾኑን እንዲያውቁና በእርሱ እንዲያምኑ ልቦቻቸውም ለእርሱ እንዲረኩ ( ያጠነክራል ) ፡ ፡ አላህም እነዚያን ያመኑትን ወደ ቀጥተኛው መንገድ በእርግጥ መሪ ነው ፡ ፡

and keep the prayer established at the two ends of the day and in some parts of the night ; indeed good deeds wipe out the evil deeds ; this is an advice to those who heed it .
ሶላትንም በቀን ጫፎች ከሌሊትም ክፍሎች ፈጽም ፡ ፡ መልካም ሥራዎች ኀጢአቶችን ያስወገድዳሉና ፡ ፡ ይህ ለተገሳጮች ግሳጼ ነው ፡ ፡

allah hath revealed the most excellent discourse , a book consimilar oft-repeated , whereat trembleth the skins of these who fear their lord ; then their skins and their hearts soften at the remembrance of allah . this is allah 's guidance , wherewith he guideth whomsoever he will .
አላህ ከዜና ሁሉ መልካምን ፣ ተመሳሳይ ፣ ተደጋጋሚ የኾነን መጽሐፍ አወረደ ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ ( ግሣጼ ) የእነዚያ ጌታቸውን የሚፈሩት ሰዎች ቆዳዎች ይኮማተራሉ ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ቆዳዎቻቸውና ልቦቻቸው ወደ አላህ ( ተስፋ ) ማስታወስ ይለዝባሉ ፡ ፡ ይህ የአላህ መምሪያ ነው ፡ ፡ በእርሱ የሚሻውን ሰው ይመራበታል ፡ ፡ አላህም የሚያጠመው ሰው ለእርሱ ምንም አቅኚ የለውም ፡ ፡
