and he thought within himself, saying, what shall i do, because i have no room where to bestow my fruits?
እርሱም። ፍሬዬን የማከማችበት ስፍራ አጥቻለሁና ምን ላድርግ? ብሎ በልቡ አሰበ።

“truth is more valuable if it takes you a few years to find it.”

and he placed mountains as anchors in the earth so that it may not shake along with you , and streams and roads for you to find course .
በምድርም ውስጥ በእናንተ እንዳታረገርግ ተራራዎችን ጣለባት ፡ ፡ ጂረቶችንም ፣ መንገዶችንም ትመሩ ዘንድ ( አደረገ ) ፡ ፡

except for the weak among men , and women , and children who have no means to act , and no means to find a way out .
ግን ከወንዶችና ከሴቶች ከሕፃኖችም ሲኾኑ ( ለመውጣት ) መላን የማይችሉና መንገድንም የማይምመሩ ደካሞች ( ቅጣት የለባቸውም )

as for the really weak and oppressed men , women , and children who were not able to find any means of obtaining their freedom or of having the right guidance ,
ግን ከወንዶችና ከሴቶች ከሕፃኖችም ሲኾኑ ( ለመውጣት ) መላን የማይችሉና መንገድንም የማይምመሩ ደካሞች ( ቅጣት የለባቸውም )

we could take away their sight if we pleased ; then they would run around to find the way : but how then would they see ?
ብንሻም ኖሮ በዐይኖቻቸው ላይ በአበስን ነበር ፡ ፡ መንገድንም ( እንደ ልመዳቸው ) በተሽቀዳደሙ ነበር ፡ ፡ እንዴትም ያያሉ ?

and if we willed , we could have obliterated their eyes , and they would race to [ find ] the path , and how could they see ?
ብንሻም ኖሮ በዐይኖቻቸው ላይ በአበስን ነበር ፡ ፡ መንገድንም ( እንደ ልመዳቸው ) በተሽቀዳደሙ ነበር ፡ ፡ እንዴትም ያያሉ ?

as for those who disbelieve , their deeds are like a mirage in the desert which the thirsty takes for water till he reaches it to find that there was nothing , and finds god with him who settles his account , for god is swift at the reckoning .
እነዚያም የካዱት ሰዎች ሥራዎቻቸው ( መልካሞቹ ) በበረሃ ሜዳ እንዳለ ሲሪብዱ የጠማው ሰው ውሃ ነው ብሎ እንደሚያስበው በመጣውም ጊዜ ምንም ነገር ኾኖ እንደማያገኘው ነው ፡ ፡ ( ከሓዲው ) አላህንም እሠራው ዘንድ ያገኘዋል ፡ ፡ ምርመራውንም ( ቅጣቱን ) ይሞላለታል ፡ ፡ አላህም ምርመራው ፈጣን ነው ፡ ፡

( they try to find out which of the intercessors ) are closer to god . they have hope for his mercy and fear of his punishment ; the punishment of your lord is awesome .
እነዚያ እነርሱ የሚግገዟቸው ማንኛቸውም ( ወደ አላህ ) በጣም ቀራቢያቸው ወደ ጌታቸው መቃረቢያን ( ሥራ ) ይፈልጋሉ ፡ ፡ እዝነቱንም ይከጅላሉ ፡ ፡ ቅጣቱንም ይፈራሉ ፡ ፡ የጌታህ ቅጣት የሚፈራ ነውና ፡ ፡
