በጣም ጥሩ ትመስላቸዋለህ

he said : ' will you look down ? '
እናንተ ተመልካቾች ናችሁን ? ይላል ፡ ፡

he shall say : will you look on ?
እናንተ ተመልካቾች ናችሁን ? ይላል ፡ ፡

( the man ) said : " will you look down ? "
እናንተ ተመልካቾች ናችሁን ? ይላል ፡ ፡

what ails you , that you look not for majesty in god ,
ለአላህ ልቅናን የማትሹት ለእናንተ ምን አላችሁ ?

wherever you look , you see bliss , and a vast kingdom .
እዚያም በተመለከትክ ጊዜ ጸጋንና ታላቅ ንግሥናን ታያለህ ፡ ፡

when you look around , you will see delights and great dominion .
እዚያም በተመለከትክ ጊዜ ጸጋንና ታላቅ ንግሥናን ታያለህ ፡ ፡

wherever you look , you will see bliss and a great kingdom :
እዚያም በተመለከትክ ጊዜ ጸጋንና ታላቅ ንግሥናን ታያለህ ፡ ፡

as you look on , you will see there bliss and a great kingdom .
እዚያም በተመለከትክ ጊዜ ጸጋንና ታላቅ ንግሥናን ታያለህ ፡ ፡

and when you look towards it , you will see serenity and a great kingdom .
እዚያም በተመለከትክ ጊዜ ጸጋንና ታላቅ ንግሥናን ታያለህ ፡ ፡

whitherto you look around , you will see an abundance of bliss and the glories of a great kingdom .
እዚያም በተመለከትክ ጊዜ ጸጋንና ታላቅ ንግሥናን ታያለህ ፡ ፡

and when you look there [ in paradise ] , you will see pleasure and great dominion .
እዚያም በተመለከትክ ጊዜ ጸጋንና ታላቅ ንግሥናን ታያለህ ፡ ፡

and certainly you desired death before you met it , so indeed you have seen it and you look ( at it )
( በጦርነት ላይ ) መሞትንም ሳታገኙት በፊት በርግጥ የምትመኙት ነበራችሁ ፡ ፡ እናንተም የምትመለከቱ ስትኾኑ በርግጥ አያችሁት ( ታዲያ ለምን ሸሻችሁ )

so depart with your family while it is yet night and let none of you look back . but your wife will suffer the fate that befalls the others .
« ሉጥ ሆይ ! እኛ የጌታህ መልክተኞች ነን ፡ ፡ ( ሕዝቦችህ ) ወደ አንተ ( በክፉ ) አይደርሱብህም ፡ ፡ ቤተሰብህንም ይዘህ ከሌሊቱ በከፊሉ ውስጥ ሊድ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም አንድም ( ወደኋላው ) አይገላመጥ ፡ ፡ ሚስትህ ብቻ ስትቀር ፡ ፡ እነሆ እርሷን ( እነሱን ) የሚያገኛቸው ስቃይ ያገኛታልና ፡ ፡ ቀጠሯቸው እንጋቱ ላይ ነው ፡ ፡ ንጋቱ ቅርብ አይደለምን » አሉት ፡ ፡

a group of the unbelievers among his people said , " you look to us like a fool and we think that you are a liar " .
ከሕዝቦቹ እነዚያ የካዱት መሪዎች « እኛ በሞኝነት ላይ ኾነህ በእርግጥ እናይሃለን ፡ ፡ እኛም ከውሸተኞቹ ነህ ብለን እንጠረጥርሃለን » አሉት ፡ ፡

pleasing seem their persons when you look at them ; and when they talk , you listen to their speech . yet they are like the wooden panelling of a wall .
ባየሃቸውም ጊዜ አካሎቻቸው ( ግዙፍነታቸው ) ያስደንቁሃል ፡ ፡ ቢናገሩም ለንግግራቸው ታዳምጣለህ ፤ ( ከዕውቀት ባዶ በመኾን ) ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ልክ በግድግዳ የተጠጉ ግንዶችን ይመስላሉ ፡ ፡ ጩኸትን ሁሉ በእነርሱ ላይ ነው ብለው ያስባሉ ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ጠላቶች ናቸውና ተጠንቀቃቸው ፡ ፡ አላህ ይጋደላቸው ፤ ( ከእምነት ) እንዴት ይመለሳሉ !

and when you look at them , their bodies please you ; and when they speak , you listen to their words . they are as blocks of wood propped up .
ባየሃቸውም ጊዜ አካሎቻቸው ( ግዙፍነታቸው ) ያስደንቁሃል ፡ ፡ ቢናገሩም ለንግግራቸው ታዳምጣለህ ፤ ( ከዕውቀት ባዶ በመኾን ) ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ልክ በግድግዳ የተጠጉ ግንዶችን ይመስላሉ ፡ ፡ ጩኸትን ሁሉ በእነርሱ ላይ ነው ብለው ያስባሉ ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ጠላቶች ናቸውና ተጠንቀቃቸው ፡ ፡ አላህ ይጋደላቸው ፤ ( ከእምነት ) እንዴት ይመለሳሉ !

“ travel with your family at the dead of the night , and follow up behind them , and let none of you look back , and proceed as commanded . ”
ከቤተሰብህም ጋር በሌሊቱ ከፊል ኺድ ፡ ፡ ከኋላቸውም ተከተል ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም አንድም ሰው ወደ ኋላው አይገላመጥ ፡ ፡ ወደ ታዘዛችሁበትም ስፍራ እለፉ » ( አሉት ) ፡ ፡

[ we also sent ] lot , when he said to his people , ‘ what ! do you commit this indecency while you look on ?
ሉጥንም ለሕዝቦቹ ባለ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፤ « እናንተ የምታዩ ስትኾኑ ፀያፍን ነገር ትሠራላችሁን
