Յովսէփը նրանց ասաց. «Մի՛ վախեցէք, որովհետեւ ես էլ Աստծու մարդն եմ:

for where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am i in the midst of them.
որովհետեւ ուր երկու կամ երեք հոգի հաւաքուած լինեն իմ անունով, այնտեղ եմ ես, նրանց մէջ»:

Եւ մի մկրտութիւն ունեմ մկրտուելու եւ ինչպէ՜ս եմ շտապում, որ կատարուի:

Եւ նա նրանց ասաց. «Աստծու արքայութիւնը ես ուրիշ քաղաքների էլ պիտի աւետարանեմ, որովհետեւ դրա համար իսկ ուղարկուեցի»:

Գիշերը Աստուած տեսիլքի մէջ Իսրայէլին ասաց. «Յակո՛բ, Յակո՛բ»: Սա հարցրեց. «Դու ո՞վ ես»:
