and all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
Եւ բոլորը, որ նրան լսում էին, զարմանում էին նրա իմաստութեան եւ պատասխանների վրայ:

and they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.
Նրա ուսուցման վրայ զարմանում էին, որովհետեւ նրա խօսքը լի էր հեղինակութեամբ:

and thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
Նա քեզ համար ուրախութիւն եւ ցնծութիւն կը լինի, եւ շատերը կ՚ուրախանան իր ծննդով,

and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a samaritan.
Նրանցից մէկը, երբ տեսաւ, թէ բժշկուեց, վերադարձաւ եւ բարձր ձայնով փառաւորում էր Աստծուն.

and there was a certain beggar named lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
Եւ Ղազարոս անունով մի աղքատ մարդ ընկած էր նրա դռան առաջ՝ վէրքերով ծածկուած:

and it came to pass, when jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
Երբ Յիսուս այս բոլոր խօսքերն աւարտեց, ժողովուրդը զարմանում էր նրա վարդապետութեան վրայ.

and they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.
Եւ նրանք զարմանում էին նրա քարոզութեան վրայ, որովհետեւ նրանց ուսուցանում էր իշխանութեամբ եւ ոչ՝ ինչպէս օրէնսգէտները:

and his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, have patience with me, and i will pay thee all.
Իսկ ծառայակիցը, ընկնելով նրա ոտքերը, աղաչում էր նրան եւ ասում. «Համբերո՛ղ եղիր իմ հանդէպ, եւ կը վճարեմ քեզ»:

for a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
Նրա մասին լսեց մի կին, որի դուստրը տառապում էր պիղծ ոգուց. սա եկաւ ընկաւ նրա ոտքերը:

and the disciples were astonished at his words. but jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of god!
Եւ աշակերտները զարմացած էին նրա խօսքերի վրայ. իսկ Յիսուս դարձեալ պատասխանեց նրանց եւ ասաց. «Զաւակնե՛րս, ինչքա՜ն դժուար է Աստծու արքայութիւն մտնել նրանց համար, որ իրենց յոյսը դրել են հարստութեան վրայ:

and the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
Քահանայապետներն ու օրէնսգէտները լսեցին այս եւ մի միջոց էին փնտռում, թէ ինչպէս կորստեան մատնեն նրան, բայց վախենում էին նրանից, որովհետեւ ամբողջ ժողովուրդը զարմացած էր նրա ուսուցման վրայ:

then when mary was come where jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
Իսկ Մարիամը, երբ եկաւ այնտեղ, ուր Յիսուս կանգնած էր, ու տեսաւ նրան, ընկաւ նրա ոտքերն ու ասաց. «Տէ՛ր, եթէ այստեղ եղած լինէիր, իմ եղբայրը մեռած չէր լինի»:

and it came to pass, when moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.
Երբ Մովսէսը դէպի վրանն էր գնում, ողջ ժողովուրդը՝ ամէն մէկն իր վրանի դռան մօտ կանգնած, ուշադիր դիտում էր նրան. նրանք հայեացքով հետեւում էին Մովսէսին, մինչեւ որ նա գնում մտնում էր իր վրանը:
