Նրանց հետ ճանապարհ ընկաւ մի խառնիճաղանջ բազմութիւն, մեծ քանակութեամբ արջառ, ոչխար ու այլ անասուն:

Ադամը բոլոր անասուններին, երկնքի բոլոր թռչուններին եւ դաշտային բոլոր գազաններին տուեց անուններ, բայց Ադամը չգտաւ իր նմանութիւնն ունեցող մի օգնական:

and god made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and god saw that it was good.
Աստուած ստեղծեց երկրի գազաններն իրենց տեսակներով, անասուններն իրենց տեսակներով եւ երկրի բոլոր սողուններն իրենց տեսակներով: Աստուած տեսաւ, որ դրանք լաւ են:

and they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of canaan, and came into egypt, jacob, and all his seed with him:
ու Քանանացիների երկրում ձեռք բերած ամէն ինչ, Եգիպտոս մտան Յակոբն ու նրա ողջ սերունդը՝

and all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
Մեռան երկրի վրայ շարժուող բոլոր կենդանի էակները՝ թռչունները, անասուններն ու գազանները, երկրի վրայ սողացող բոլոր սողուններն ու բոլոր մարդիկ:

and he said, lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle are ringstraked, speckled, and grisled: for i have seen all that laban doeth unto thee.
Նա ասաց. «Քո աչքով նայի՛ր ու տե՛ս, որ մաքիների ու էգ այծերի վրայ ելնող խոյերն ու արու այծերը ինչպէ՜ս պտաւոր են, խայտաճամուկ ու խատուտիկ: Չէ՞ որ ես տեսայ, թէ ինչքան անարդար վարուեց քեզ հետ Լաբանը:

and esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother jacob.
Եսաւն առաւ իր կանանց, տղաներին ու աղջիկներին, իր տան բոլոր մարդկանց, ողջ ունեցուածքն ու անասունները, այն ամէնը, ինչ ստացել, ձեռք էր բերել Քանանացիների երկրում, եւ հեռացաւ իր եղբայր Յակոբի մօտից՝ Քանանացիների երկրից,
