and abraham answered and said, behold now, i have taken upon me to speak unto the lord, which am but dust and ashes:
Պատասխան տուեց Աբրահամն ու ասաց. «Հիմա համարձակւում եմ խօսել Տիրոջ հետ, թէեւ ես հող եմ ու մոխիր:

Բայց ես աւելի մեծ վկայութիւն ունեմ, քան Յովհաննէսինը. այն գործերը, որ Հայրն ինձ տուեց, որ կատարեմ, այդ նոյն գործերն իսկ, որ անում եմ, վկայում են իմ մասին, թէ Հայրն է ուղարկել ինձ:

Աբրահամն ասաց. «Քանի սկսել եմ խօսել Տիրոջ հետ, ասեմ. իսկ եթէ այնտեղ գտնուի քսա՞ն»: Տէրը պատասխանեց. «Չեմ կործանի յանուն այդ քսանի»:
