Արդ, աղաչեցէ՛ք հնձի Տիրոջը, որ մշակներ հանի իր հնձի համար»:

then saith he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
Այն ժամանակ իր աշակերտներին ասաց. «Հունձը առատ է, իսկ մշակները՝ սակաւ:

but when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
Սակայն երբ սերմը իր պտուղը տայ, իսկոյն մանգաղ է ուղարկում, որովհետեւ հնձի ժամանակը հասել է»:

six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.
Վեց օր կ՚աշխատես, իսկ եօթներորդ օրը կը հանգստանաս: Կը հանգստանաս նաեւ ցանքի ու հնձի ժամանակ:

the enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
եւ թշնամին, որ այն ցանեց, սատանան է. իսկ հունձը այս աշխարհի վախճանն է, եւ հնձողները հրեշտակներ են:

Այսուհետեւ, քանի դեռ կայ երկիրը, թող չդադարեն սերմն ու հունձը, ցուրտն ու տօթը, ամառն ու գարունը, ցերեկն ու գիշերը»:

and thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.
Եօթնօրեակի տօնը ինձ համար կը կատարես ցորենի հնձի սկզբում, իսկ բերքահաւաքի տօնը՝ տարուայ կէսին:

therefore said he unto them, the harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
Եւ նրանց ասաց. «Հունձն առատ է, իսկ մշակները՝ սակաւ: Արդ, խնդրեցէ՛ք հնձի տիրոջը, որ մշակներ ուղարկի իր հնձի համար:

and reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them unto his mother leah. then rachel said to leah, give me, i pray thee, of thy son's mandrakes.
Ռուբէնը ցորենի հնձի օրերին գնաց, դաշտում մանրագորի խնձոր գտաւ եւ այն բերեց իր մայր Լիային: Ռաքէլը դիմելով իր քոյր Լիային՝ ասաց. «Քո որդու մանրագորներից մի քիչ տո՛ւր ինձ»:
