the lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
Տէ՛րը պիտի պատերազմի ձեր փոխարէն, դուք լո՛ւռ մնացէք»:

and jesus rebuked him, saying, hold thy peace, and come out of him.
Յիսուս սաստեց նրան ու ասաց. «Ձայնդ կտրի՛ր եւ դո՛ւրս ել դրանից»:

and he said to the woman, thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
Եւ նա ասաց այդ կնոջը. «Քո հաւա՛տը քեզ փրկեց, գնա՛ խաղաղութեամբ»:

and they held their peace. and he took him, and healed him, and let him go;
Նրանք լուռ մնացին: Յիսուս նրան բռնելով՝ բուժեց եւ արձակեց:

and thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.
Դու խաղաղ հոգով պիտի գնաս քո նախնիների գիրկը՝ խոր ծերութեան հասնելով:

and the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the lord had made his journey prosperous or not.
Մարդն ուշադիր հետեւում էր նրան ու լուռ մտածում, թէ Տէրը կը յաջողեցնի՞ իր գործը, թէ՞ ոչ:

think not that i am come to send peace on earth: i came not to send peace, but a sword.
«Մի՛ կարծէք, թէ եկայ խաղաղութիւն հաստատելու երկրի վրայ. չեկայ հաստատելու խաղաղութիւն, այլ՝ սուր.

but they held their peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest.
Եւ նրանք լուռ էին մնում, որովհետեւ ճանապարհին իրար հետ վիճում էին, թէ ո՛վ է մեծը:

and as they thus spake, jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, peace be unto you.
Մինչ դեռեւս նրանք այս էին խօսում, Յիսուս ինքը եկաւ կանգնեց նրանց մէջ եւ ասաց. «Խաղաղութի՜ւն ձեզ, ես եմ, մի՛ վախեցէք»:

and he answered and said unto them, i tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
Նա պատասխանեց եւ ասաց. «Ասում եմ ձեզ, որ եթէ դրանք լռեն էլ, այդ քարերը կ՚աղաղակեն»:

and they rose up betimes in the morning, and sware one to another: and isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace.
եւ առաւօտեան վաղ վեր կենալով՝ երդուեցին միմեանց: Իսահակը ճանապարհ դրեց նրանց, եւ նրանք իր մօտից հաշտ ու խաղաղ գնացին:

and many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, thou son of david, have mercy on me.
Եւ շատերը նրան սաստում էին, որ լռի, իսկ նա առաւել եւս աղաղակում էր. «Դաւթի՛ Որդի, ողորմի՛ր ինձ»:

and he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, peace, be still. and the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Եւ նա, արթնանալով, սաստեց հողմին եւ ասաց ծովին. «Դադարի՛ր, լռի՛ր»: Եւ հողմը դադարեց, ու մեծ խաղաղութիւն եղաւ:

but he held his peace, and answered nothing. again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, art thou the christ, the son of the blessed?
Եւ նա միայն լուռ էր մնում ու պատասխան չէր տալիս: Քահանայապետը կրկին անգամ հարցրեց նրան ու ասաց. «Դո՞ւ ես Քրիստոսը՝ օրհնեալ Աստծու Որդին»:

and he saith unto them, is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? but they held their peace.
Ապա ասաց նրանց. «Շաբաթ օրով ի՞նչ բան է օրինաւոր անել. բարի գո՞րծ գործել, թէ՞ չարիք անել. մի հոգի՞ ազատել, թէ՞ կորստեան մատնել»: Եւ նրանք լռեցին:

and the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, have mercy on us, o lord, thou son of david.
Եւ ամբոխը յանդիմանեց նրանց, որ լռեն: Իսկ նրանք առաւել եւս աղաղակում էին ու ասում. «Ողորմի՛ր մեզ, Տէ՛ր, Դաւթի՛ Որդի»:

and after eight days again his disciples were within, and thomas with them: then came jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, peace be unto you.
Ութ օր յետոյ աշակերտները դարձեալ ներսում էին. եւ Թովմասը՝ նրանց հետ: Յիսուս եկաւ փակ դռներով, կանգնեց մէջտեղ ու ասաց՝ խաղաղութի՜ւն ձեզ:

an altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where i record my name i will come unto thee, and i will bless thee.
Ինձ համար հողաշէն զոհասեղան կը պատրաստէք եւ դրա վրայ, ամէն տեղ, ուր կը դնեմ իմ անունը, կը մատուցէք ձեր ողջակէզներն ու ձեր խաղաղութեան զոհերը, ձեր ոչխարներն ու ձեր արջառները: Ես կը գամ քեզ մօտ ու կ՚օրհնեմ քեզ:
