not long after the hoopoe came forward and said , " i have information which you do not have . i have come from the land of sheba with a true report .
কিছুক ্ ষণ পড়েই হুদ এসে বলল , আপনি যা অবগত নন , আমি তা অবগত হয়েছি । আমি আপনার কাছে সাবা থেকে নিশ ্ চিত সংবাদ নিয়ে আগমন করেছি ।

( solomon ) inspected the birds and said , " how is it that i cannot see the hoopoe . is he absent ?
আর তিনি পাখিদের পর ্ যবেক ্ ষণ করলেন , তখন বললেন -- ''একি! হুদহুদকে দেখছি না কেন? সে কি গরহাজিরদের একজন?

and he took a muster of the birds ; and he said : " why is it i see not the hoopoe ? or is he among the absentees ?
আর তিনি পাখিদের পর ্ যবেক ্ ষণ করলেন , তখন বললেন -- ''একি! হুদহুদকে দেখছি না কেন? সে কি গরহাজিরদের একজন?

[ one day ] he reviewed the birds , and said , ‘ why do i not see the hoopoe ? or is he absent ? ’
আর তিনি পাখিদের পর ্ যবেক ্ ষণ করলেন , তখন বললেন -- ''একি! হুদহুদকে দেখছি না কেন? সে কি গরহাজিরদের একজন?

but the hoopoe stayed not long and said , " i have encompassed [ in knowledge ] that which you have not encompassed , and i have come to you from sheba with certain news .
কিছুক ্ ষণ পড়েই হুদ এসে বলল , আপনি যা অবগত নন , আমি তা অবগত হয়েছি । আমি আপনার কাছে সাবা থেকে নিশ ্ চিত সংবাদ নিয়ে আগমন করেছি ।
