আর আল ্ লাহ ্ যদি ইচ ্ ছা করতেন তবে তিনি নিশ ্ চয়ই তোমাদের এক জাতিভুক ্ ত করে দিতেন , কিন ্ তু তিনি পথহারা হতে দেন যাকে ইচ ্ ছে করেন , আর যাকে ইচ ্ ছে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন । আর তোমাদের অতিঅবশ ্ য জিজ ্ ঞাসা করা হবে যা তোমরা করে যাচ ্ ছিলে সে-সন ্ বন ্ ধে ।

আর তালাকপ ্ রাপ ্ তা নারী নিজেকে অপেক ্ ষায় রাখবে তিন হায়েয পর ্ যন ্ ত । আর যদি সে আল ্ লাহর প ্ রতি এবং আখেরাত দিবসের উপর ঈমানদার হয়ে থাকে , তাহলে আল ্ লাহ যা তার জরায়ুতে সৃষ ্ টি করেছেন তা লুকিয়ে রাখা জায়েজ নয় । আর যদি সদ ্ ভাব রেখে চলতে চায় , তাহলে তাদেরকে ফিরিয়ে নেবার অধিকার তাদের স ্ বামীরা সংরক ্ ষণ করে । আর পুরুষদের যেমন স ্ ত ্ রীদের উপর অধিকার রয়েছে , তেমনি ভাবে স ্ ত ্ রীদেরও অধিকার রয়েছে পুরুষদের উপর নিয়ম অনুযায়ী । আর নারীরদের ওপর পুরুষদের শ ্ রেষ ্ ঠত ্ ব রয়েছে । আর আল ্ লাহ হচ ্ ছে পরাক ্ রমশালী , বিজ ্ ঞ ।

and when it is said to them : prostrate to the beneficent allah , they say : and what is the allah of beneficence ? shall we prostrate to what you bid us ?
আর যখন তাদের বলা হয় , ' পরম করুণাময়কে সিজদা কর ’ , তারা বলে -- ''করুণাময় আবার কে? আমরা কি তাকেই সিজদা করব যার সন্বন্ধে তুমি আমাদের আদেশ কর?’’ আর এটি তাদের জন্য বাড়িয়ে দেয় বিতৃষ্ণা।

আর তাদের মধ ্ যে কিছু লোক আছে যারা তোমার কথা শোনে , তারপর তারা যখন তোমার কাছ থেকে বেরিয়ে যায় তখন যাদের জ ্ ঞান দেওয়া হয়েছে তাদের বলে , ''সে এইমাত্র কী বললে!’’ এরাই তারা যাদের হৃদয়ের উপরে আল্লাহ্ মোহর মেরে দিয়েছেন, আর তারা নিজেদের খেয়ালখুশিরই অনুসরণ করে।
