আর -- ''হে আদম! তুমি ও তোমার সঙ্গিনী এই বাগানে বসবাস করো, আর যেখান থেকে তোমরা চাও আহার করো, কিন্তু এই বৃক্ষের ধারেকাছেও যেও না, তাহলে তোমরা অন্যায়কারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবে।’’

indeed those who distort our verses are not hidden from us ; so is one who is cast into the fire better , or one who comes in safety on the day of resurrection ? do whatever you wish !
নিঃসন ্ দেহ যারা বেঁকে বসে আমাদের নির ্ দেশাবলীসন ্ বন ্ ধে তারা আমাদের থেকে লুকিয়ে থাকা নয় । তবে কি যাকে আগুনে নিক ্ ষেপ করা হবে সে অধিকতর ভাল , না সে , যে কিয়ামতের দিনে নিরাপত ্ তার সাথে হাজির হবে ? তোমরা যা চাও করে যাও , নিঃসন ্ দেহ তোমরা যা করছ সে-সন ্ বন ্ ধে তিনি সর ্ বদ ্ রষ ্ টা ।

''অতএব তাঁকে বাদ দিয়ে তোমরা যাকে ইচ্ছা কর, তার উপাসনা কর।’’ বলো -- ''নিঃসন্দেহ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত তারা যারা কিয়ামতের দিনে ক্ষতিসাধন করেছে তাদের নিজেদের ও তাদের পরিজনদের। এটিই কি খোদ স্পষ্ট ক্ষতি নয়?”

and it was said to them , “ settle this town , and eat therein whatever you wish , and speak modestly , and enter the gate in humility we — will forgive your sins , and will promote the righteous . ”
আর যখন তাদের প ্ রতি নির ্ দেশ হল যে , তোমরা এ নগরীতে বসবাস কর এবং খাও তা থেকে যেখান থেকে ইচ ্ ছা এবং বল , আমাদের ক ্ ষমা করুন । আর দরজা দিয়ে প ্ রবেশ কর প ্ রণত অবস ্ থায় । তবে আমি ক ্ ষমা করে দেব তোমাদের পাপসমুহ । অবশ ্ য আমি সৎকর ্ মীদিগকে অতিরিক ্ ত দান করব ।

and remember when they were commanded , “ reside in this township and eat whatever you wish in it , and say sins ‘ are forgiven ’ and enter the gate prostrating – we will forgive you your sins ; we shall soon bestow more upon the virtuous . ”
