ထာဝရဘုရားသည် လူတို့ကိုဝေးသောအရပ်သို့ ပြောင်းစေတော်မူ၍၊ ပြည်ထဲမှာများစွာသော စွန့်ပစ်ခြင်း ရှိသည်တိုင်အောင်၎င်း၊ ထိုကာလသည် ကြာလိမ့်မည်။

and all they of the land came to a wood; and there was honey upon the ground.
လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် မြေပေါ်၌ ပျားရည်ရှိရာတောသို့ ရောက်သဖြင့်၊

behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of egypt:
အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်တရှောက်လုံးတွင် ဝပြောသောနှစ် ခုနစ်နှစ်ရှိလိမ့်မည်။

and on the ninth day of the fourth month the famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land.
ထိုနှစ်စတုတ္ထလကိုးရက်နေ့တွင်၊ မြို့ထဲမှာ အလွန်အစာအာဟာရခေါင်းပါးသဖြင့်၊ မြို့သူမြို့သားတို့ သည် စားစရာမရှိသောအခါ၊

and moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of egypt three days:
မောရှေသည် မိမိလက်ကို မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်သို့ဆန့်၍၊ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်တရှောက်လုံး၌ ထူထပ်သော မှောင်မိုက်သည် သုံးရက်ပတ်လုံး ဖြစ်လေ၏။

and gaal spake again and said, see there come people down by the middle of the land, and another company come along by the plain of meonenim.
တဖန် ဂါလက၊ ကြည့်ပါ။ လူအချို့တို့သည် တောင်ရိုးပေါ်မှ ဆင်းလာကြ၏။ အချို့တို့သည် မောနေနိမ် သပိတ်တောလမ်းဖြင့် လာကြ၏ဟု ပြောဆိုလျှင်၊

and there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of abraham. and isaac went unto abimelech king of the philistines unto gerar.
အာဗြဟံလက်ထက် ထိုပြည်၌ဖြစ်ဘူးသော အစာခေါင်းပါးခြင်းမှတပါး၊ နောက်တဖန် အစာခေါင်း ပါးခြင်း ရှိပြန်သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ဣဇာက်သည် ဖိလိတ္တိမင်းကြီး အဘိမလက်နေရာဂေရာမြို့သို့ သွားလေ၏။

and there was no bread in all the land; for the famine was very sore, so that the land of egypt and all the land of canaan fainted by reason of the famine.
အလွန်အစာခေါင်းပါး၍ တပြည်လုံးစားစရာ မရှိသောကြောင့်၊ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်နှင့် ခါနာန်ပြည်သည် အားလျော့လေ၏။

and there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of egypt; and the famine shall consume the land;
ထိုနောက်မှ အစာခေါင်းပါးသောနှစ် ခုနစ်နှစ် ပေါ်လာ၍၊ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်၌အလုံးစုံသော ဝပြောခြင်းသည် တိမ်မြုပ်လျက် အစာခေါင်းပါးခြင်းအားဖြင့် တပြည်လုံး ပျက် စီးလိမ့်မည်။

and the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of egypt.
မြစ်၌ရှိသော ငါးတို့သည်လည်း သေကြ၍၊ မြစ်ရေနံသောကြောင့်၊ အဲဂုတ္တုလူတို့သည် မြစ်ရေကို မသောက်နိုင်ကြ။ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်တရှောက်လုံး၌ အသွေးနှံ့ပြားလျက် ရှိလေ၏။

after these things came jesus and his disciples into the land of judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
ထိုနောက်မှ ယေရှုသည် တပည့်တော်တို့နှင့်အတူ ယုဒပြည်၏ကျေးလက်သို့ ကြွတော်မူလျှင်၊ ထို အရပ်၌ တပည့်တော်တို့နှင့်တကွ နေတော်မူ၍ ဗတ္တိဇံကို ပေးလေ၏။

and the king made of the algum trees terraces to the house of the lord, and to the king's palace, and harps and psalteries for singers: and there were none such seen before in the land of judah.
ထိုအာလဂုံသစ်သားဖြင့် ရှင်ဘုရင်သည် ဗိမာန် တော် ပွတ်လုံးတန်းနှင့် နန်းတော်ပွတ်လုံးတန်းကို၎င်း၊ သီချင်းဆိုသောသူဘို့ စောင်းနှင့်တယောတို့ကို၎င်း၊ လုပ်လေ၏။ ထိုသို့သော အာလဂုံသစ်သားသည် ယုဒပြည် ၌ တခါမျှ မပေါ်လာ။

and he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.
နောက်တဖန် အိုင်နားမှာ ဆုံးမဩဝါဒပေးတော်မူစဉ်တွင်၊ များစွာသောလူအပေါင်းတို့သည် အထံ တော်၌ စုဝေးကြသောကြောင့်၊ အိုင်တွင်လှေထဲသို့ဝင်၍ ထိုင်တော်မူ၏။ ပရိသတ်အပေါင်းတို့သည် အိုင်နား ကုန်းပေါ်မှာနေကြ၏။

also amaziah said unto amos, o thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:
အာမုတ်ကိုလည်းခေါ်၍၊ အိုပရောဖက်၊ ယုဒပြည်သို့ ပြေးသွားလော့။ ထိုပြည်မှာ ပရောဖက်ပြု၍ အသက်မွေးလော့။

and the lord did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.
ထိုသို့ထာဝရဘုရားပြုတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ အလွန် ကြမ်းတမ်းသော ယင်ရဲတို့သည်၊ ဖါရောဘုရင်အိမ် အစရှိသော သူ၏ကျွန်တို့အိမ်၊ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်တရှောက်လုံး ၌ ရောက်လာ၍၊ ထိုယင်ရဲတို့ကြောင့် အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်ပျက် လေ၏။

and elisha came again to gilgal: and there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets.
တဖန်ဧလိရှဲသည် ဂိလဂါလမြို့သို့သွား၍၊ ထိုပြည်၌ အစာခေါင်းပါး၏။ ပရောဖက်အမျိုးသားတို့ သည် ဧလိရှဲရှေ့မှာထိုင်ကြစဉ်၊ ပရောဖက်အမျိုးသားတို့ အဘို့ကြီးသော အိုးကင်းကိုပြင်၍ ဟင်းချက်လော့ဟု မိမိ ကျွန်အားဆို၏။

if therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?
ထိုကြောင့် သင်းဝင်သူအပေါင်းတို့သည် စည်းဝေး၍ အခြားသော ဘာသာဖြင့် ဟောပြောလျက် နေကြစဉ်တွင် မယုံကြည်သောသူ၊ မတတ်သောသူသည် ဝင်လာလျှင်၊ သင်တို့ကို သူရူးဖြစ်ကြသည်ဟု ပြောမည် မဟုတ်လော။

for they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of egypt.
မြေမည်းသည်တိုင်အောင် မြေတပြင်လုံးကို ဖုံးအုပ်၍ တပြည်လုံးတွင် မြက်ပင်ရှိသမျှ မိုဃ်းသီးနှင့် လွတ်သောသစ်သီး ရှိသမျှကို စားကြသဖြင့်၊ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်တရှောက်လုံးတွင် သစ်ပင်မြက်ပင်တို့၌ စိမ်းသောအရာ တစုံတခုမျှ မကျန်ရစ်။

saying, no; but we will go into the land of egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:
စစ်မှုကိုမတွေ့မမြင်၊ တံပိုးမှုတ်သံကို မကြား၊ မငတ်မမွတ်ရာအရပ်၊ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်သို့သွား၍ နေမည်ဟု ဆိုလျှင်၊

for in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of israel, saith the lord god, there shall all the house of israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will i accept them, and there will i require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.
အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါ၏သန့်ရှင်းသောတောင်၊ အမြင့်ဆုံးသော ဣသရေလတောင်ပေါ်မှာ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား၊ ပြည်သူပြည်သားအပေါင်းတို့သည် ငါ့အား ဝတ်ပြုရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါသည်လည်း လက်ခံ၍၊ ထိုအရပ် ၌ သင်တို့ပြုသောပူဇော်သက္ကာများ၊ အဦးသီးသော အသီးတွင်ရွေး၍ဆက်ရသော အသီးအနှံများနှင့်တကွ၊ သင်တို့သန့်ရှင်းသော အရာရှိသမျှတို့ကို ငါတောင်းမည်။
