and ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
သင်တို့သည် အသက်ကိုရအောင် ငါ့ထံသို့ လာခြင်းငှါအလိုမရှိကြ၊

and he spake to his sons, saying, saddle me the ass. and they saddled him.
မြည်းပေါ်မှာ ကုန်းနှီးကို တင်ကြလော့ဟု သားတို့အား ဆိုသည်အတိုင်း သူတို့သည် ကုန်းနှီးတင်ကြ၏။

and the word of the lord came unto me the second time, saying,
ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် ဒုတိယ အကြိမ် ငါ့ဆီသို့ရောက်လျှင်၊

he said, bring them hither to me.
ထိုအခါ လူအစုအဝေးတို့ကို မြက်ပင်ပေါ်မှာ လျောင်းကြစေဟုအမိန့်တော်ရှိ၏။

then the word of the lord came to me, saying,
ထိုအခါ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော် သည် ငါ့ဆီသို့ ရောက်လာ၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ သည်ကား၊

the law enforcement officers came over to me.
ပြီးတော့ လေတိုက်တော့ ကျွန်မခေါင်းဆောင်းပဝါက လွင့်ကျသွားတယ်။

again the word of the lord came to me, saying,
တဖန်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် ငါ့ဆီသို့ ရောက်လာ၍၊

have we not power to eat and to drink?
ငါတို့သည် စားသောက်ခြင်း အခွင့်မရှိသလော။

and she called his name joseph; and said, the lord shall add to me another son.
ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အခြားသောသားကို ထပ်၍ ပေးတော်မူပါစေသောဟူ၍၎င်းဆိုလျက်၊ ထိုသားကို ယောသပ်အမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်လေ၏။

again the word of the lord of hosts came to me, saying,
တဖန် ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် ငါ့ဆီသို့ ရောက်လာ၍၊

and he said unto his sons, saddle me the ass. so they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,
မြည်းကို ကုန်းနှီးတင်ကြလော့ဟု ဆိုသည် အတိုင်း၊ သားတို့သည် မြည်းကိုကုန်းနှီးတင်၍ အဘသည် စီးသွားလျက်၊

and it shall come to pass in the day that the lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
ထိုအခါ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင့်ကို ငြိုငြင်ခြင်း၊ စိုးရိမ်ခြင်း၊ သူတပါး စေစား၍ ဆင်းရဲစွာ အစေ ကျွန် ခံရခြင်းထဲက နှုတ်၍၊ ချမ်းသာ ပေးတော် မူလျှင်၊

but what things were gain to me, those i counted loss for christ.
သို့သော်လည်းငါ၏ အကျိုးစီးပွားကို ပြုစုသော အရာရှိသမျှတို့ကို ရှုံးစေသောအရာကဲ့သို့ ခရစ်တော် ကြောင့် ငါထင်မှတ်၏။

oh that i might have my request; and that god would grant me the thing that i long for!
ငါတောင်းသောအရာကို ရပါစေ။ ငါတောင့်တသောအရာကို ဘုရားသခင်ပေးသနားတော်မူပါစေ။

and he saith unto me, the waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
ယခုမြင်၍ ပြည်တန်ဆာထိုင်သော ရေကား၊ အသီးအသီး ဘာသာစကားကို ပြောသော လူအမျိုးမျိုး အစုစု ဖြစ်သတည်း။

and preached, saying, there cometh one mightier than i after me, the latchet of whose shoes i am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.
ဟောချက်စကားဟူမူကား၊ ငါ့ထက် တတ်စွမ်းနိုင်သောသူသည် ငါ့နောက်ကြွလာ၏။ ထိုသူ၏ ခြေနင်း တော်ကြိုးကိုမျှ ငုံ့၍ဖြတ်ခြင်းငှါ ငါမထိုက်။

restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
ကယ်တင်တော်မူခြင်းနှင့်ယှဉ်သော ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်း အခွင့်ကို ပြန်၍ ပေးသနားတော်မူပါ။ ကြည်ညိုသော စေတနာစိတ်သဘောသည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ထောက်မပါ စေသော။

and he that sent me is with me: the father hath not left me alone; for i do always those things that please him.
ငါ့ကိုစေလွှတ်တော်မူသောသူသည် ငါနှင့်အတူရှိတော်မူ၏။ ငါ့ကို တကိုယ်တည်းနေစေခြင်းငှါ ခမည်း တော်သည် စွန့်ပစ်တော်မမူ။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ နှစ်သက်တော်မူသောအမှုကို အစဉ်မပြတ်ငါပြုသည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။

and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
ပညာ၌ ကာမဂုဏ်ချုပ်တည်းခြင်းကို၎င်း၊ သည်းခံခြင်း၌ ဘုရားဝတ်ကိုပြု၍ မွေ့လျော်ခြင်းကို၎င်း၊

and saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, they have ascribed unto david ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?
ရှောလုက၊ သူတို့သည် ဒါဝိဒ်အား အသောင်းသောင်း၊ ငါ့အား အထောင်ထောင်သာ ပေးကြပြီ။ နိုင်ငံတော်မှတပါး အဘယ်အရာကို ပေးနိုင်သေးသနည်းဟု အလွန်အမျက်ထွက်၍ ထိုစကားကြောင့် စိတ်ပျက်လေ၏။
