Sie suchten nach: codomain (Englisch - Griechisch)

the term range usually refers to the image, but sometimes it refers to the codomain.

by definition of a function, the image of an element "x" of the domain is always a single element "y" of the codomain.

a second example of a function is the following: the domain is chosen to be the set of natural numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, ...), and the codomain is the set of integers (..., −3, −2, −1, 0, 1, 2, 3, ...).
