ashe, ba ka sani ba, lalle ne allah yanã sanin abin da yake a cikin sama da ƙasa?

on the day when he will call to them, and say, “what did you answer the messengers?”
kuma rãnar da yake kiran su, sa'an nan ya ce: "mẽne nekuka karɓa wa mananni?"

and [mention] the day he will call them and say, "what did you answer the messengers?"
kuma rãnar da yake kiran su, sa'an nan ya ce: "mẽne nekuka karɓa wa mananni?"

what! did you then think that we had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to us?
"shin, to, kun yi zaton cẽwa mun halitta ku ne da wãsa kuma lalle ku, zuwa gare mu, bã zã ku kõmo ba?"

[mention] when there were exhibited before him in the afternoon the poised [standing] racehorses.
a lõkacin da aka gitta masa dawãki mãsu asali, a lõkacin maraice.

did you not see those who have exchanged allah's favour with ingratitude to him, causing their people to be cast in the abode of utter perdition
shin ba ka lura ba da waɗanda suka musanya ni'imar allah da kãfirci kuma suka saukar da mutãnensu a gidan halakã?

did you not see that allah has made all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth, subservient for you and bestowed his favours upon you in full, both visible and hidden?
ashe, ba ku gani ba, cẽwa allah yã hõre muku abin da ke a cikin sammai da abin da ke a cikin ƙasã, kuma ya zuba ni'imõminsa a kanku, bayyanannu da ɓõyayyu?

and remember your lord much (by praising him again and again), and glorify (him) in the afternoon and in the morning."
sai ka ambaci ubangijinka da yawa. kuma ka yi tasbĩhi da marece da sãfe."

did you not see how allah sends down water from the sky and with it brings forth different colored fruits? in the mountains there are paths of various colors, of white and red, and jetblack.
ba ka gani ba, lalle allah ya saukar da ruwa daga sama? sai muka fitar, game da shi,'yã'yan itãce mãsu sãɓanin launuka kuma daga duwatsu akwai zane-zane, farfaru da jãjãye, mãsu sãɓanin launin, da mãsu launin baƙin ƙarfe, baƙãƙe.

and most surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle: we make you to drink of what is in their bellies, and you have in them many advantages and of them you eat,
kuma lalle ne kunã da abin lũra a cikin dabbõbin ni'imõmi munã shãyar da ku daga abin da yake a cikinsu, kuma kunã da a cikinsu abũbuwan amfãni mãsu yawa, kuma daga gare su kuke cĩ

did you not see how god sent down water from the sky with which we bring forth fruit of diverse colours. in the mountains there are streaks of various shades of white and red, and jet-black rocks;
ba ka gani ba, lalle allah ya saukar da ruwa daga sama? sai muka fitar, game da shi,'yã'yan itãce mãsu sãɓanin launuka kuma daga duwatsu akwai zane-zane, farfaru da jãjãye, mãsu sãɓanin launin, da mãsu launin baƙin ƙarfe, baƙãƙe.

and surely in the cattle there is a lesson for you; we give you to drink of what is in their bellies, and many uses there are in them for you, and of them you eat;
