הושע חנניה חשוב׃

and hananiah, and elam, and antothijah,
וחנניה ועילם וענתתיה׃

so hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
וימת חנניה הנביא בשנה ההיא בחדש השביעי׃

of the sons also of bebai; jehohanan, hananiah, zabbai, and athlai.
ומבני בבי יהוחנן חנניה זבי עתלי׃

then hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet jeremiah's neck, and brake it.
ויקח חנניה הנביא את המוטה מעל צואר ירמיה הנביא וישברהו׃

now among these were of the children of judah, daniel, hananiah, mishael, and azariah:
ויהי בהם מבני יהודה דניאל חנניה מישאל ועזריה׃

then said daniel to melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over daniel, hananiah, mishael, and azariah,
ויאמר דניאל אל המלצר אשר מנה שר הסריסים על דניאל חנניה מישאל ועזריה׃

then daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to hananiah, mishael, and azariah, his companions:
אדין דניאל לביתה אזל ולחנניה מישאל ועזריה חברוהי מלתא הודע׃

then the prophet jeremiah said unto the prophet hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the lord,
ויאמר ירמיה הנביא אל חנניה הנביא לעיני הכהנים ולעיני כל העם העמדים בבית יהוה׃

and the priests; eliakim, maaseiah, miniamin, michaiah, elioenai, zechariah, and hananiah, with trumpets;
והכהנים אליקים מעשיה מנימין מיכיה אליועיני זכריה חנניה בחצצרות׃

after him repaired hananiah the son of shelemiah, and hanun the sixth son of zalaph, another piece. after him repaired meshullam the son of berechiah over against his chamber.
אחרי החזיק חנניה בן שלמיה וחנון בן צלף הששי מדה שני אחריו החזיק משלם בן ברכיה נגד נשכתו׃

that i gave my brother hanani, and hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared god above many.
ואצוה את חנני אחי ואת חנניה שר הבירה על ירושלם כי הוא כאיש אמת וירא את האלהים מרבים׃

and the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like daniel, hananiah, mishael, and azariah: therefore stood they before the king.
וידבר אתם המלך ולא נמצא מכלם כדניאל חנניה מישאל ועזריה ויעמדו לפני המלך׃

and hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, thus saith the lord; even so will i break the yoke of nebuchadnezzar king of babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. and the prophet jeremiah went his way.
ויאמר חנניה לעיני כל העם לאמר כה אמר יהוה ככה אשבר את על נבכדנאצר מלך בבל בעוד שנתים ימים מעל צואר כל הגוים וילך ירמיה הנביא לדרכו׃
