3.14.2 as argued in its previous opinions on strengthening and coordinating european policies23 and on macroeconomic imbalances24, the eesc considers that if macroeconomic imbalances are understood as persistent mismatches between demand and aggregate supply leading to surpluses or deficits in overall consumption and savings in an economy, then it would be advisable at the least to include social indicators, such as: the income and wealth inequality index; the incidence of lower incomes; the "working poor" component; pay and profits as a proportion of gdp; etc.25.
3.13.2 il cese, come precedentemente espresso sia nel parere sul rafforzamento del coordinamento delle politiche europee23 che sul parere sugli squilibri macroeconomici24 ritiene che, se per squilibri macroeconomici si intendono persistenti divergenze tra la domanda e l'offerta aggregata che conducono a surplus o deficit nei consumi e risparmi complessivi di un'economia, risulta quantomeno opportuno inserire anche indicatori di natura sociale, come ad esempio: l'indice della diseguaglianza dei redditi e della ricchezza; l'incidenza delle retribuzioni più basse; la componente dei cosiddetti working poor; la quota delle retribuzioni e dei profitti sul pil; ecc25.
