have they not seen the birds, flying in the midst of the sky? none sustains them except god. in this are signs for people who believe.

behold they not the birds subjected in the firmament of the heaven? naught supporteth them save allah; verily therein are signs for people who believe.

and he reviewed the birds, then said: how is it i see not the hoopoe or is it that he is of the absentees?
그가 새들을 불러모아 말하 길 오디새가 보이지 않는데 그도 여기에 오지 않는 자 중의 하나가아니뇨

do they not see the birds, constrained in the middle of the sky? none withholds them but allah; most surely there are signs in this for a people who believe.

have you not considered the free movements of the birds high in the sky above? what keeps them aloft except god? in this there is evidence (of the truth) for the believing people.

do you not realize that god is glorified by whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and even by the birds in formation? each knows its prayer and its manner of praise. god knows well what they do.
하늘과 대지의 모든 것이 하 나님을 찬미하며 새들은 날개를 펴 찬미하고 있음을 그대는 보지 못하느뇨 모든 것은 제 스스로 경 배하고 찬미함을 알고 있으며 하 나님은 그들이 행하는 모든 것을 알고 계시니라

we gave solomon the right understanding of the matter, and we bestowed wisdom and knowledge on both of them. we caused the mountains and the birds to celebrate our praises along with david. we had the power to do this --
하나님은 솔로몬으로 하여 그 문제를 이해토록 하고 그들 각자에게 지혜와 지식을 주었으며 산들과 새들로 하여금 다윗과 더 불어 하나님을 위해 찬송케 하였 으니 하나님은 그렇게 할 수 있 었노라

have you not seen how allah is exalted by those in the heavens and earth, and the birds with outspread wings? he knows its prayers and its exaltations and allah has knowledge of the things they do.
하늘과 대지의 모든 것이 하 나님을 찬미하며 새들은 날개를 펴 찬미하고 있음을 그대는 보지 못하느뇨 모든 것은 제 스스로 경 배하고 찬미함을 알고 있으며 하 나님은 그들이 행하는 모든 것을 알고 계시니라

hast thou not seen that allah, he it is whom all who are in the heavens and the earth praise, and the birds in their flight? of each he knoweth verily the worship and the praise; and allah is aware of what they do.

solomon inherited from david, and he said, ‘o people! we have been taught the speech of the birds, and we have been given out of everything. indeed this is a manifest advantage.’
솔로몬이 다윗을 상속하고 말하길 백성들이여 우리는 새들의 말을 배웠으며 모든 은혜를 받았 으니 이것은 분명한 하나님으로부 터의 은혜라

solomon became the heir to david. he said, "people, we have been taught the language of the birds and have been granted a share of everything. this indeed is a manifest favor (from god)".
솔로몬이 다윗을 상속하고 말하길 백성들이여 우리는 새들의 말을 배웠으며 모든 은혜를 받았 으니 이것은 분명한 하나님으로부 터의 은혜라

"fellow-prisoners, your dreams tell that one of you will serve wine to his master and the other will be crucified and his head consumed by the birds. judgment has already been passed about the meaning of the dreams that you asked about."

do they not look at the birds, held poised in the midst of (the air and) the sky? nothing holds them up but (the power of) allah. verily in this are signs for those who believe.
