whosoever disbelieveth, on him is his infidelity, and those who work righteously are preparing for themselves.
믿음을 거역한 자들은 불신 에 대한 책임을 지게 될 것이며 선행을 실천한 신앙인들에게는 그들의 영혼을 위하여 보상이 있으 리라

and we set it forth among them, that they may be admonished, but most men begrudge aught save infidelity.
이렇게 하나님은 그들에게 비유를 들어 그들로 하여금 하나 님을 염원토록 하였으나 대다수의사람들이 불신하고 감사할 줄 모 르더라

and as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we apprehended that he might impose upon the twain exorbitance and infidelity.
그 소년으로 말하자면 그의부모는 믿는 사람들이었으니 우리는 그가 그들에게 거역하고 하 나님께 불신하지 않을까 두려워 했기에

already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not.
그 말씀이 그들 다수 위에 진 리로 나타났으나 그들은 믿지 아 니하더라

nor would he command you to take the angels and the prophets as lords. would he command you to infidelity after you have submitted?
너희에게 천사들이나 예언자들을 하나님 섬기는 것과 같이 경배하지 말라 했거늘 무슬림이 된 너희로 하여 불신하라고 명령 했단 말이뇨

and assuredly we have variously propounded for mankind in this qur'an every kind of similitude, yet most men have refused everything except infidelity.
실로 하나님은 이 꾸란에서 인간을 위하여 여러 가지 비유를 들어 설명하였으나 대다수의 사람들은 이를 거역하고 불신하더라

seek ye to question your apostle, even as musa was questioned afore. and whosoever changeth belief for infidelity, he hath of a surety strayed from the even way.
모세가 전에 질문을 받았던것처럼 너희의 선지자께 질문을 하고자 하느뇨 믿음을 버리며 불 신하는 자는 바른 길로부터 방황 하노라

o ye who believe! take not for protectors your fathers and your brothers if they love infidelity above faith: if any of you do so, they do wrong.
믿는 사람들아 너희의 아버 지들과 형제들이 믿음 보다는 불 신을 택한다면 그들을 보호자로 택하지 말라 하였으니 그들을 보 호자로 하는 자는 누구든 우매한 자들이라

and if they violate their oaths after their covenant and revile your religion, fight those leaders of infidelity-verily no oaths will hold in their case that haply they may desist.
조약 이후 그들이 조약을 위반함온 그들이 너희의 종교를 공 격함이니 불신자들의 우두머리들 에 투쟁하라 그들은 믿음이 없으 니 저지될 것이라

and when they come to you they say: we believe; whereas surely with infidelity they entered and surely with it they went forth. and allah is knower of that which they have been concealing.
그들이 너희에게 우리는 믿 나이다 라고 말하나 그들은 불신 하여 벗어났으니 그들이 숨기고 있는 모든 것을 하나님은 알고 계심이라

it is not for such as join gods with allah, to visit or maintain the mosques of allah while they witness against their own souls to infidelity. the works of such bear no fruit: in fire shall they dwell.
스스로 믿지 아니하는 불신 자들에게는 하나님의 사원들을 방 문할 권한이 없나니 곧 그들의 일들이 헛되어 그들은 불지옥에서 영생하리라

and let not those grieve thee who hasten toward infidelity; verily they shall not harm allah at all. allah desireth not to provide for them a portion in the hereafter; and theirs shall be a torment mighty.
믿음을 쉽사리 저버리는 자들이 그대를 슬프게 하지 아니하 며 그들은 하나님을 조금도 저해 할 수 없노라 하나님은 내세에서 그들에게 아무런 양식도 주지 아 니하시며 그들에게는 가혹한 재앙 만 있을 따름이라

accursed are they then for their breach of the bond and their rejecting the commandments of allah and their slaying the prophets without justification, and their saying: our hearts are uncircumcised. aye! allah hath set a seal upon them for their infidelity, wherefore they believe not but a little.
그들이 성약을 깨뜨리고 하나님의 계시를 불신함과 선지자들 을 살해함으로 말미암아 우리의 마음은 봉해져 버렸도다 라고 그 들이 말하도다 그러나 하나님에서 는 불신으로 말미암아 그들의 마 음을 봉하여 버렸으나 소수를 제 외하고는 이를 믿지 않더라
