خوا دوو دڵی دروست نه‌کردووه له ده‌روونی هیچ که‌سێکدا (دوو بیروباوه‌ڕ جێی نابێته‌وه‌)، که‌واته هاوسه‌رانیشتان که به‌ده‌م پێیان ده‌ڵێن: (ئێوه له‌جێی دایکمانن) به‌و قسه‌یه نابنه دایکتان، ئه‌وانه‌ش به کوڕی خۆتانی ده‌زانن (له کاتێکدا ڕاستیه‌که‌ی وا نیه‌)، خوا حه‌ق وێژه‌و هه‌ر ئه‌و ڕێبازی ڕاست و دروست، نیشانی (به‌نده‌کانی) ده‌دات.

those who put away their wives by pronouncing zihar and thereafter would retract that which they have said, then upon them is the freeing of a slave before the twain touch each other. that is that wherewith ye are exhorted; and allah is of whatsoever ye work aware.

allah has not made for any man two hearts in his (one) body: nor has he made your wives whom ye divorce by zihar your mothers: nor has he made your adopted sons your sons. such is (only) your (manner of) speech by your mouths. but allah tells (you) the truth, and he shows the (right) way.
