this project has successfully developed ‘stutter manager’ which is an android mobile application embedded with learning techniques to ameliorate stuttering problems. with this app, stutterers could conduct vocal learning exercises at any time and from anywhere. speech pathologists could monitor their patients’ (i.e. stutterers’) progress at fingertips. there are patients’ results available for viewing and for further analysis in graphs. speech pathologists could as well provide online comments and feedback. this could reduce the costs of travelling and meeting speech pathologists for face-to-face speech therapy meetings. this project has been done in stages and cost approximately rm78k in total. stutter manager allows pathologists to give meaningful feedback to stutterers that in the long run provide a better care services with increased compliance
