އަދި ބުދަށް އަޅުކަންކުރުމާ ދުރުވެވަޑައިގަންނަވާށެވެ!

and come not near unto adultery. lo! it is an abomination and an evil way.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ޒިނޭއާ ގާތްނުވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއީ ހުތުރުކަން ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ފާފައެއް ކަމުގައިވިއެވެ. އަދި މަގެއްގެ ގޮތުން އެކަންތައް ހާދަހާ ނުބައިވެގެންވެއެވެ.

and lot! when he said unto his folk: will ye commit abomination knowingly?
لوط ގެފާނު، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު (ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެކެދެނެތިބި حال، فاحش عمل ތައް ކުރަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟

and approach not adultery; verily it is ever an abomination and vile as a pathway.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ޒިނޭއާ ގާތްނުވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއީ ހުތުރުކަން ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ފާފައެއް ކަމުގައިވިއެވެ. އަދި މަގެއްގެ ގޮތުން އެކަންތައް ހާދަހާ ނުބައިވެގެންވެއެވެ.

he bids you only to do evil and to commit deeds of abomination and to attribute to god something of which you have no knowledge.
އެ شيطان އާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް أمر ކުރާކަން ކަށަވަރީ ނުބައިކަންތަކާއި ހުތުރުކަންބޮޑު ފާފަތަކަށެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެނގިގެންނުވާ އެއްޗެއް اللَّه އާމެދު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބުނުމަށެވެ.

if two men commit a like abomination, punish them both. if they repent and mend their ways, leave them alone.
އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން فاحش ކަންތައް ގެނެސްގަންނަ ދެމީހުންނަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އަދަބުދޭށެވެ! ފަހެ، އެދެމީހުން توبة ވެ، އަދި، އެއުރެންގެ عمل إصلاح ކޮށްފިނަމަ، އެ ދެމީހުންގެ ކިބައިން ދުރުވެގަންނާށެވެ! (އެބަހީ: އަދަބުދިނުން ހުއްޓައިލާށެވެ!) ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން توبة قبول ކުރައްވާ رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

it is not for any soul that it should believe save with allah's will, and he layeth the abomination upon those who reflect not.
އަދި اللَّه ގެ إذن ފުޅަށް މެނުވީ، إيمان ވުމެއް އެއްވެސް نفس އަކަށް ނެތެވެ. އަދި ނުވިސްނާ މީހުންނަށް، އެކަލާނގެ عذاب ދެއްވާހުށްޓެވެ.

but as for those in whose heart is sickness, them it has increased in abomination added to their abomination, and they have died while they were unbelievers.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި ބަލިމަޑުކަމެއްވާ މީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އެއުރެންގެ كافر ކަމުގެ ތެރެއަށް كافر ކަން އެއުރެންނަށް އިތުރުވިއެވެ. އަދި كافر ން ކަމުގައިވާ حال، އެއުރެން މަރުވިއެވެ.

allah enjoineth justice and kindness, and giving to kinsfolk, and forbiddeth lewdness and abomination and wickedness. he exhorteth you in order that ye may take heed.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، عدل ވެރިވުމަށާއި، إحسان ތެރިވުމަށާއި، ގާތްތިމާގެ މީހުންނަށް ހެޔޮފޯރުވުމަށް اللَّه އަމުރުކުރައްވަތެވެ. އަދި ހުތުރުކަން ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ފާފަތަކާއި، منكرات ތަކާއި، އަނިޔާވެރިވެ އުޅުން، އެކަލާނގެ ނަހީކުރައްވަތެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް، وعظ އިއްވަވަނީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

and perform the prayer, and pay the alms, and obey god and his messenger. people of the house, god only desires to put away from you abomination and to cleanse you.
އަދި ތިޔަކަނބަލުން، ތިޔަކަނބަލުންގެ ގެތަކުގައި ތިބޭށެވެ! އިހުގެ ޖާހިލީ ޒަމާނުގެ ޒީނަތުން ތިޔަކަނބަލުން ޒީނަތްތެރި ނުވާހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަކަނބަލުން ނަމާދު قائم ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަކަނބަލުން زكاة ދޭށެވެ! އަދި اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް ތިޔަކަނބަލުން ކިޔަމަންވާށެވެ! އޭ أهل بيت ންނޭވެ! اللَّه އިރާދަކުރައްވާކަން ކަށަވަރީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކިބައިން ފާފަތައް ދުރުކުރައްވައި، ފުރިހަމަ طاهر ކުރެއްވުމަކުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން طاهر ކުރެއްވުމަށެވެ.

and lot! (remember) when he said unto his folk: will ye commit abomination such as no creature ever did before you?
އަދި لوط ގެފާނު، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު (ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކުރިން، عالم ތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އެކަކުވެސް ކޮށްފައިނުވާ فاحش عمل ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކުރަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟

o ye who believe! wine and gambling and stone altars and divining arrows are only an abomination, a handiwork of satan, shun it wherefore, that haply ye may fare well.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ރާއާއި، ޖުވާކުޅުމާއި، އަޅުކަންކުރަން ހަދާފައި ހުންނަ ބުދުތަކާއި نصيب ހުރިގޮތް ބަލަން ގެންގުޅޭ ދުނިދަނޑިތަކަކީ، شيطان އާގެ عمل ތަކުގެ ތެރެއިންވާ މުޑުދާރު ތަކެއްޗެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަންތަކާ ދުރުވެގަންނާށެވެ! (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދިންނަވައި نصيب ލިބުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

and do not eat from that over which the name of god was not pronounced, for it is abomination. the devils inspire their followers to argue with you; but if you obey them, you would be polytheists.
(ކަތިލާހިނދު) އެ އެއްޗެއްގެ މައްޗަށް، اللَّه ގެ اسم ފުޅު ނަންނުގަންނަ އެއްޗަކުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުކާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެތަކެތިން ކެއުމަކީ، އުރެދުމެއްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާ جدل ކުރުމަށް شيطان ން އެއުރެންގެ ވާގިވެރިންނަށް ވަސްވާސް ދޭނެއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، އެއުރެންނަށް ކިޔަމަންވެއްޖެނަމަަ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކީވެސް، مشرك ންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and eat not of that whereon allah's name hath not been mentioned, for lo! it is abomination. lo! the devils do inspire their minions to dispute with you.
(ކަތިލާހިނދު) އެ އެއްޗެއްގެ މައްޗަށް، اللَّه ގެ اسم ފުޅު ނަންނުގަންނަ އެއްޗަކުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުކާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެތަކެތިން ކެއުމަކީ، އުރެދުމެއްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާ جدل ކުރުމަށް شيطان ން އެއުރެންގެ ވާގިވެރިންނަށް ވަސްވާސް ދޭނެއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، އެއުރެންނަށް ކިޔަމަންވެއްޖެނަމަަ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކީވެސް، مشرك ންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and (as for) lut, we gave him wisdom and knowledge, and we delivered him from the town which wrought abominations; surely they were an evil people, transgressors;
لوط ގެފާނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حكمة ތެރިކަމާއި، علم ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ނުބައި ފާފަތައް ކޮށްއުޅުނު ރަށުގެ (މީހުންގެ) ކިބައިން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނު ސަލާމަތްކުރެއްވީމެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންވީ، ނުބައިކަމުގެ أهل ވެރި، فاسق ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.
