and they cannot comprehend anything of his knowledge save whatever he himself pleases to reveal. his kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth and the guarding of these does not weary him.

in fact they arbitrarily rejected as false whatever they failed to comprehend and whose final sequel was not apparent to them. likewise had their predecessors rejected the truth, declaring it falsehood.
އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އެ قرآن ގައިވާ އެއްޗެއް އެއުރެންނަށް ނޭނގެނީސް، އަދި އޭގެ މާނަ އެއުރެންނާ ހަމަޔަށް ނާންނަނީސް، އެއުރެން އެ قرآن ދޮގުކުރޫއެވެ. ހަމަ އެފަދައިން އެއުރެންގެ ކުރީގެ މީހުންވެސް (އެއުރެންގެ رسول ން) ދޮގުކުރޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، އަނިޔާވެރިންގެ ނިމުންވަނީ، ކޮންފަދައަކުންކަން ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވަޑައި ގަންނަވާށެވެ!

still less can their knowledge comprehend the hereafter: nay, they are in doubt and uncertainty thereanent; nay, they are blind thereunto!
އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! آخرة އާ ހަމަޔަށް އެއުރެންގެ علم ފޯރީހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އެދުވަހާމެދުގައި އެއުރެންވަނީ شك ކަމެއްގައެވެ. އަދި ކިއެއްތަ؟ އެދުވަހާމެދު އެއުރެންވަނީ ކަނުބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

he knows what will be before their hands and what was behind them, and they do not comprehend anything of his knowledge except what he willed. his seat embraces the heavens and the earth, and the preserving of them does not weary him.
اللَّه އީ، އެކަލާނގެ ފިޔަވައި حق ވެގެން އަޅުކަމެއް ވެވޭ إله އަކުނުވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. ދިރިދެމިވޮޑިގެންވާ، دائم އަށް قائم ވެ ވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އަވަހާރަފުޅު އައުމެއް އަދި، އަވަހާރަފުޅު ލެއްޕެވުމެއްވެސް އެކަލާނގެއަކަށް ނުވެއެވެ. އުޑުތަކުގައި ވާހައި އެއްޗަކާއި، އަދި، ބިމުގައި ވާހައި އެއްޗެއް މިލްކުވެގެންވަނީ އެކަލާނގެއަށެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ إذن ފުޅާ ނުލައި އެކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި شفاعة ތެރިވާނޭ މީހަކީ ކާކުހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެއުރެންގެ ކުރިން (އެބަހީ: خلق ތަކުންގެ ކުރިން) އިސްވެގޮސްފައިވާހައި ކަމަކާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ފަހުން ވާނޭހައި ކަމެއްވެސް އެކަލާނގެ ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ. އަދި، އެކަލާނގެ علم ފުޅުގެ ތެރެއިން އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރެއްވިކަމެއް ފިޔަވައި، އެއްވެސް އެއްޗެއް އެއުރެންނަކަށް އެނގިގެނެއް ނުވެއެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ كرسى، އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގެ އެންމެހައި ކަންކޮޅުތަކަށް ތަނަވަސް ވެގެންވެއެވެ. އެ އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިން، ރައްކާތެރި ކުރައްވައި ހިފެހެއްޓެވުމަށް އެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަކަށް ކުޑަވެސް ބުރަކަމެއް ނުވެއެވެ. އަދި، އެކަލާނގެއީ، އެންމެ މަތިވެރި އެންމެ މާތް ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and the pharaoh said to his people: "o people, is not mine the kingdom of egypt and these rivers that flow at my feet? can you still not comprehend?

allah is he besides whom there is no god, the everliving, the self-subsisting by whom all subsist; slumber does not overtake him nor sleep; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is his; who is he that can intercede with him but by his permission? he knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they cannot comprehend anything out of his knowledge except what he pleases, his knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of them both tires him not, and he is the most high, the great.
