އެ خبر އަކީ، އެއުރެން އެއާމެދު خلاف ވެގެންވާ خبر އެވެ.

allah will judge between you on the day of judgment concerning that wherein ye have been differing.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން خلاف ވެއުޅުނު ކަންތަކާމެދު، قيامة ދުވަހުން، اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މެދުގައި حكم ކުރައްވާނެތެވެ.

and some of us are the righteous, and some of us are otherwise; we are sects differing.
އަދި ތިމަންމެންގެ ތެރެއިން ހެޔޮލަފާ މީހުންނާއި، އެނޫން މީހުންވެއެވެ. ތިމަންމެންވަނީ، ތަފާތު ބައިބަޔަށެވެ.

and had thy lord willed, he would surely have made mankind of one community, and they will not cease differing.
ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރެއްވިނަމަ، މީސްތަކުން އެއް أمّة އެއް ކަމުގައި ލައްވައިފީސްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. ނަމަވެސް خلاف ވުމުގައި އެއުރެން ފިލައިނުދެތެވެ.

knower of the hidden and the open! thou shalt judge between thy bondmen concerning that wherein they have been differing.
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! އޭ ހައްދަވާ ބޮޑުކުރެއްވި ރަސްކަލާކޮ! އިސްވެދިޔަ مثال އަކާނުލައި އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިންތައް ހެއްދެވި ރަސްކަލާކޮ! ނުފެންނަ ކަންތަކާއި، ފެންނަކަންތައް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާކޮ! އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެ އަޅުތަކުންގެ މެދުގައި، އެއުރެން خلاف ވެގެންއުޅުނު ކަންތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް ނިޔާކުރައްވާނީ އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

we have sent down this book to you that you may explain to them what it is that they are differing about, and as guidance and a grace for those who believe.
އަދި އެއުރެން އެކަމާމެދު خلاف ވީ ކަންތައް، ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެންނަށް ބަޔާންކޮށްދެއްވުމަށްޓަކައި މެނުވީ، އަދި إيمان ވާ ބަޔަކަށް ތެދުމަގެއް ކަމުގައްޔާއި، رحمة އެއް ކަމުގައި މެނުވީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކަލޭގެފާނަށް، ފޮތް ބާވައެއް ނުލައްވަމެވެ.

and they differed not except after the knowledge had come unto them, through spite among themselves. verily thy lord will decide between them on the day of judgment concerning that wherein they have been differing.
އަދި دين ގެ ކަންތަކާމެދުގައި بيان ވެގެންވާ ހެކިތަކެއް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވީމެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނާ ހަމަޔަށް علم އައުމަށްފަހުގައި މެނުވީ، އެއުރެން خلاف އެއް ނުވެތެވެ. (އެއީ) އެއުރެންގެ މެދުގައިވާ ދެކޮޅުވެރިކަމާއި، حسد ވެރިކަމުންނެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން خلاف ވެ އުޅުނު ކަންތަކާމެދު، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ قيامة ދުވަހުން އެއުރެންގެ މެދުގައި ނިޔާ ކުރައްވާނެތެވެ.

do not use your oaths deceitfully because one party has ascendency over you. god surely tries you in this way: he will make it clear to you on the day of resurrection what you were differing about.
އަދި އުއިގުޅައި، ރޮދިއަޅައި ހަރުކުރުމަށްފަހު، އެތިއެތިކޮޅަށް އެ ކޮށައި ހަލާކުކޮށްލި ކަނބުލޭގެ ފަދައިން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުވާށެވެ! (އެބަހީ: عهد ތަކުގެ ބާރު ލިބިގަތުމަށްފަހު، އެ عهد ތައް އުވައިލާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުވާށެވެ!) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މެދުގައި، ފަސާދަވެރިކަން އުފެއްދުމަށްޓަކައި އޮތް އެއްޗެއްކަމުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ހުވާތައް ހަދަމުއެވެ. (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުރެ އެއްބަޔަކު، އަނެއްބަޔަކަށްވުރެ ގިނަބަޔަކުކަމުގައި ވެދާނެތީއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަމުން امتحان ކުރައްވަތެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، خلاف ވެ އުޅުނުކަންތައް، قيامة ދުވަހުން އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ބަޔާންކޮށްދެއްވާނެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

"o my two companions of the prison! (i ask you): are many lords differing among themselves better, or the one allah, supreme and irresistible?
އޭ ޖަލުގެ ދެ އެކުވެރިންނޭވެ! ވަކިވަކިވެގެންވާ ކަލާނގެ ތަކެއްހޭ ރަނގަޅީ، ނުވަތަ އެއްކައުވަންތަ، ބާރުވެރިވަންތަ اللَّه ހެއްޔެވެ؟
