އެއުރެން އެ ނަރަކައިން ނުކުންނާނޭ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެއް ނުވެއެވެ.

never so, for there will be no escape.
ހަމަހިލާ އެހެންނަކުން ނުވާނެއެވެ. ރައްކާވެ ތިބެންދާނެ ތަނެއްނެތެވެ.

on that day man will ask, "where can i escape?"
އެދުވަހުން އިންސާނާ ބުނާނެތެވެ. ފިލަންދާނީ ކޮންތާކަށް ހެއްޔެވެ؟

on that day, man will say, “where is the escape?”
އެދުވަހުން އިންސާނާ ބުނާނެތެވެ. ފިލަންދާނީ ކޮންތާކަށް ހެއްޔެވެ؟

for such the abode is only hell from which they will find no escape.
އެއުރެން ތިބެނިވި ތަނަކީ، ނަރަކަޔެވެ. އަދި، އެތަނުން އެއުރެން ފިލައިގެން ދާނެތަނެއް ނުމެފެންނާނޭމެއެވެ.

let not the disbelievers assume that they are ahead. they will not escape.
(މިންޖުވެ) ކުރިއަރައިގެން ދެވޭނެކަމަށް كافر ވި މީހުން ހީނުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންނަކަށް (اللَّه) ނުކުޅައްދައެއް ނުލެވޭނެތެވެ.

let those who dispute our signs know that there is no escape for them.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކާމެދުގައި ޖަދަލުކުރާ މީހުންނަށް (ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ عذاب ން) ފިލަންދާނޭ ތަނެއްނެތްކަން އެނގުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

such people will dwell in hell fire from which they will not be able to escape.
އެއުރެން ތިބެނިވި ތަނަކީ، ނަރަކަޔެވެ. އަދި، އެތަނުން އެއުރެން ފިލައިގެން ދާނެތަނެއް ނުމެފެންނާނޭމެއެވެ.

let those who dispute our signs know that there is no way of escape for them.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކާމެދުގައި ޖަދަލުކުރާ މީހުންނަށް (ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ عذاب ން) ފިލަންދާނޭ ތަނެއްނެތްކަން އެނގުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

couldst thou but see when they are terrified with no escape, and are seized from near at hand,
އެއުރެން (قيامة ދުވަހު) ބިރުން ސިހިގެންދާހިނދު ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވައިގަންނަވާނެނަމައެވެ. ފަހެ، އެހިނދު ސަލާމަތްވެގެން ދިއުމެއްނެތެވެ. އަދި ގާތުގައިވާ ތަނަކުން އެއުރެން ހިއްޕަވައި ގެންދަވާނެތެވެ.

and the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape.
އަދި މަރުގެ ސަކަރާތް حق ގޮތުގައި އަންނަހުށްޓެވެ. އެއީ ތިބާ އެޔަށް ފިލަންއުޅޭ ކަމުގައިވީ މަރެވެ.

and we know that we cannot escape from allah in the earth, nor can we escape by flight.
އަދި ތިމަންމެންނަށް ބިމުގައި اللَّه ނުކުޅައްދައި ނުލެވޭނެކަމާއި، އަދި އެކަލާނގެއަށް ފިލައިގެން ދިޔުމުގައިވެސް ނުކުޅައްދައި ނުލެވޭނެކަން ތިމަންމެން يقين ކުރަމުއެވެ.

and let not those who disbelieve think that they shall come in first; surely they will not escape.
(މިންޖުވެ) ކުރިއަރައިގެން ދެވޭނެކަމަށް كافر ވި މީހުން ހީނުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންނަކަށް (اللَّه) ނުކުޅައްދައެއް ނުލެވޭނެތެވެ.

and for those who dispute regarding our signs to realise; that they do not have a place to escape to.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކާމެދުގައި ޖަދަލުކުރާ މީހުންނަށް (ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ عذاب ން) ފިލަންދާނޭ ތަނެއްނެތްކަން އެނގުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

[the deities] they invoked before will have vanished; they will know that there is no escape.
އަދި މީގެކުރިން އެއުރެން دعاء ކޮށް، އަޅުކަންކޮށްއުޅުނު ތަކެތި އެއުރެންގެކިބައިން ގެއްލިހިނގައްޖެއެވެ. އަދި (عذاب ން) އެއުރެން ފިލަންދާނެތަނެއް ނެތްކަން، އެއުރެންނަށް يقين ވެއްޖެއެވެ.

he knows all those who dispute his revelations. they will find no way to escape from (his torment).
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކާމެދުގައި ޖަދަލުކުރާ މީހުންނަށް (ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ عذاب ން) ފިލަންދާނޭ ތަނެއްނެތްކަން އެނގުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

and [that is so] those who dispute concerning our signs may know that for them there is no place of escape.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކާމެދުގައި ޖަދަލުކުރާ މީހުންނަށް (ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ عذاب ން) ފިލަންދާނޭ ތަނެއްނެތްކަން އެނގުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

and let not those who disbelieve think they will escape. indeed, they will not cause failure [to allah].
(މިންޖުވެ) ކުރިއަރައިގެން ދެވޭނެކަމަށް كافر ވި މީހުން ހީނުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންނަކަށް (اللَّه) ނުކުޅައްދައެއް ނުލެވޭނެތެވެ.

how many a generation we have destroyed before them! they cried out [for help], but gone was the time for escape.
އެއުރެންގެކުރިން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކިތައްކިތައް أمّة ހަލާކުކުރެއްވިން ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ (އެއުރެންނަށް عذاب އައިހިނދު) އެހީއަށްއެދި އެއުރެން ގޮވޫއެވެ. (އެހެނެއްކަމަކު) އެ وقت އަކީ، ސަލާމަތްވާންދާނެ ތަނެއްއޮތް وقت އެއްނޫނެވެ.
