އަދި ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންގެ أمر އަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކިޔަމަންތެރި ނުވާށެވެ!

އަދި ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންގެ أمر އަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކިޔަމަންތެރި ނުވާށެވެ!

"and follow not the bidding of those who are extravagant,-
އަދި ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންގެ أمر އަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކިޔަމަންތެރި ނުވާށެވެ!

who in their spending are neither extravagant nor stingy but maintain moderation,
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެން ހޭދައެއް ކޮށްފިނަމަ إسراف ނުކުރާ، އަދި މުށްބާރުވެސް ނުކުރާ، އަދި އެދެމެދުގައި މެދުމިންވެ ތިބޭމީހުންނެވެ.

do not be niggardly, nor extravagant that you may later feel reprehensive and constrained.
ތިބާގެ ކަނދުރާއާއެކު ކަސްތަޅު އެޅިގެންވާ އެއްޗެއްކަމުގައި، ތިބާގެ އަތް ނުހަދާށެވެ! އަދި އެ އަތް މުޅިން ފަތުރައިވެސްނުލާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އޭރުން މަލާމާތްލިބި، ހިތާމަ ލިބިގެންވާ حال، ތިބާ އިންނަން ޖެހިދާނެއެވެ.

and that the foolish amongst us used to forge extravagant things against allah:
އަދި ތިމަންމެންގެ ތެރެއިން جاهل ކަންބޮޑު މީހާ، اللَّه އާމެދު حق ން އެއްކިބާވެ، ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ ބަސްބުނާކަމުގައިވިއެވެ.

the extravagant are brethren of the devils, and the devil is ever ungrateful to his lord.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، إسراف ކުރާ މީހުންނީ، شيطان ންގެ أخ ން ކަމުގައިވޫއެވެ. އަދި شيطان އާ، އޭނާގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް ވަރަށް ބޮޑަށް كافر ވާ ކަމުގައިވިއެވެ.

most surely you come to males in lust besides females; nay you are an extravagant people.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شهوانى ގޮތުން، އަންހެނުން ދޫކޮށް، ފިރިހެނުންނާ ގާތްވަމުއެވެ. އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ (ފާފަކުރުމުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ ބަޔަކީމުއެވެ.

'there were some foolish ones among us, who used to utter extravagant lies against allah;
އަދި ތިމަންމެންގެ ތެރެއިން جاهل ކަންބޮޑު މީހާ، اللَّه އާމެދު حق ން އެއްކިބާވެ، ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ ބަސްބުނާކަމުގައިވިއެވެ.

and those who when they expend, are neither extravagant nor sparing, and it is a medium in-between.
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެން ހޭދައެއް ކޮށްފިނަމަ إسراف ނުކުރާ، އަދި މުށްބާރުވެސް ނުކުރާ، އަދި އެދެމެދުގައި މެދުމިންވެ ތިބޭމީހުންނެވެ.

and thus do we recompense him who is extravagant and does not believe in the communications of his lord, and certainly the chastisement of the hereafter is severer and more
އަދި (އުރެދުމުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިގޮސް، އަދި އޭނާގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކަށް إيمان ނުވިމީހާއަށް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ޖަޒާދެއްވަނީ އެފަދައިންނެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، آخرة ގެ عذاب މާގަދައެވެ. އަދި ދެމިހުރުން މާބޮޑުމެއެވެ.

and they who when they spend, are neither extravagant nor parsimonious, and (keep) between these the just mean.
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެން ހޭދައެއް ކޮށްފިނަމަ إسراف ނުކުރާ، އަދި މުށްބާރުވެސް ނުކުރާ، އަދި އެދެމެދުގައި މެދުމިންވެ ތިބޭމީހުންނެވެ.

and that is how we requite him who is extravagant and does not believe the signs of his lord; and surely the punishment of the hereafter is far more severe and persistent.
އަދި (އުރެދުމުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިގޮސް، އަދި އޭނާގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކަށް إيمان ނުވިމީހާއަށް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ޖަޒާދެއްވަނީ އެފަދައިންނެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، آخرة ގެ عذاب މާގަދައެވެ. އަދި ދެމިހުރުން މާބޮޑުމެއެވެ.

o children of adam! attend to your embellishments at every time of prayer, and eat and drink and be not extravagant; surely he does not love the extravagant.
އޭ آدم ގެދަރިންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، ނަމާދުކުރާ ކޮންމެ ހިނދެއްގައިމެ، ޒީނަތްތެރިކަން ހިފާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިބޮއި އުޅޭށެވެ! އަދި إسراف ނުކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، إسراف ކުރާ މީހުންދެކެ އެކަލާނގެ ލޯބިވެ ވޮޑިގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

no doubt that what you call me to has no title to be called to in this world, nor in the hereafter, and that our turning back is to allah, and that the extravagant are the inmates of the fire;
شك އެއްނެތެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އަހުރެން އަޅުކަންކުރުމަށް ތިޔަގޮވަނީ ދުނިޔޭގައިވެސް، އަދި آخرة ގައިވެސް އެއަށް ގޮވުން حق ވެގެންވާ އެއްޗަކަށް ނޫނެވެ. އަދި އަހުރެމެން އެނބުރިދާހުށީ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة އަށެވެ. (ފުރެދުމުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންނީ، ހަމަ ނަރަކައިގެ أهل ވެރިންނެވެ.

without doubt ye only call me unto that which is not to be invoked in the world nor in the hereafter; and verily our return shall be unto god, and the extravagant! they shall be fellows of the fire.
شك އެއްނެތެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އަހުރެން އަޅުކަންކުރުމަށް ތިޔަގޮވަނީ ދުނިޔޭގައިވެސް، އަދި آخرة ގައިވެސް އެއަށް ގޮވުން حق ވެގެންވާ އެއްޗަކަށް ނޫނެވެ. އަދި އަހުރެމެން އެނބުރިދާހުށީ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة އަށެވެ. (ފުރެދުމުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންނީ، ހަމަ ނަރަކައިގެ أهل ވެރިންނެވެ.

and a believing man of fir'awn 's household, hiding his belief, said: would ye slay a man because he saith: my lord is god, and hath come upto you with evidences from your lord? if he is a liar, then upon him will be his lie, and if he is a truth-teller, then there will befall you some of that wherewith he threateneth you; verily god guideth not one who is an extravagant and a liar.
فرعون ގެ خاندان ގެ މީހުންކުރެ إيمان ކަން ވަންހަނާކޮށްގެންހުރި مؤمن ފިރިހެނަކު ބުންޏެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ފިރިހެނަކު (އެބަހީ: موسى ގެފާނު) ތިޔަ قتل ކުރަން އުޅެނީ ތިމަންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއީ، اللَّه އޭ އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާތީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލޭގެފާނު ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެގާތަށް ވަޑައިގަތީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން ފާޅުވެގެންވާ ހެކިތަކާއިގެންނެވެ. އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނު ދޮގުވެރިޔެއް ކަމުގައިވާނަމަ، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ދޮގުގެ ގެއްލުންހުރީ ހަމައެކަލޭގެފާނަށެވެ. އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނީ ތެދުވެރިޔެއްކަމުގައިވާނަމަ، އެކަލޭގެފާނު ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެ وعد ކުރައްވާ ކަންތަކުން ބައެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ޖެހޭނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އިސްރާފުކުރާ ބޮޑުދޮގުވެރިޔެއްކަމުގައިވާ މީހަކަށް، اللَّه ތެދުމަގެއް ނުދައްކަވާނެތެވެ.
