and compassion from ourselves, and chastity; and he was extremely pious.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން އޯގާވެރިކަމާއި، طاهر ކަން އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނު تقوى ވެރިޔަކު ކަމުގައިވިއެވެ.

and i will give them respite; indeed my secret plan is extremely solid.
އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ލަސްކުރައްވަމެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ރޭއްވެވުން ގަދަފަދަވެގެންވެއެވެ.

they shall keep going back and forth between it and the extremely hot boiling water.
އެ ނަރަކައިގެ އަލިފާނާއި، އަދި ކެކިކެކިހުންނަ ހޫނުފެނާ ދެމެދުގައި، އެއުރެން ހިނގަހިނގާ ތިބޭނެތެވެ.

allah has kept prepared a severe punishment for them; indeed they commit extremely evil deeds.
اللَّه، އެއުރެންނަށްޓަކައި ގަދަވެގެންވާ عذاب އެއް ތައްޔާރުކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން ކޮށްއުޅުނު ކަންތަކުގެ ނުބައިކަމާއެވެ!

god has created you and he causes you to die. some of you will grow to an extremely old age and lose your memory.
اللَّه، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހެއްދެވިއެވެ. ދެން އެކަލާނގެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މަރުގަންނަވަތެވެ. އަދި އެންމެ ނިކަމެތި عمر އަށް ރައްދުކުރައްވާ މީހުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިންވެއެވެ. އެއީ އެމީހާއަށް އެނގިގެންވުމަށްފަހު، އެއްވެސް އެއްޗެއް ނޭނގުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ، ކުޅަދުންވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and had they believed and been pious, then the recompense from allah is extremely good; if only they knew!
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން إيمان ވެ تقوى ވެރިވިނަމަ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ން (އެއުރެންނަށް) ހުރި ثواب ގެ ހެޔޮކަން މާބޮޑެވެ. އެއުރެން އެކަން ދަންނަ ކަމުގައިވި ނަމައެވެ.

and none receive this great treasure except those who are patient; and none receives this except one who is extremely fortunate.
އަދި ކެތްތެރިވި މީހުންނަށްމެނުވީ، އެ މާތްސިފަ ލިބިއެއް ނުގަނެވޭނެތެވެ. އަދި ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ނަސީބުވެރިޔަކަށްމެނުވީ، އެ މާތްސިފަ ލިބިއެއް ނުގަނެވޭނެތެވެ.

and you will see many of them rushing towards sin and oppression, and to devour the forbidden; undoubtedly what they do is extremely evil.
އަދި އޭގެތެރެއިން ގިނަމީހުން ފާފަވެރިވުމާއި، ދެކޮޅުވެރިވުމާއި، حرام މުދާ ކެއުމަށް އަވަސްވެގަންނަތަން، ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވަޑައިގަންނަވާނޫއެވެ. އެއުރެން ކޮށްއުޅުނު عمل ތަކުގެ ނުބައިކަމާއެވެ!

and it is he who has endowed you with life and it is he who causes you to die, and it is he who will then resurrect you. man is indeed extremely prone to denying the truth.
އެކަލާނގެއީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (ނެތުމުގެތެރެއިން) ދިރުއްވައި، ދެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މަރުގަންނަވައި، ދެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (އަލުން) ދިރުއްވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އިންސާނާއަކީ (نعمة ތަކަށް) ދެކޮޅުހަދައި، كافر ވުން ބޮޑު މީހެއްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

they have taken their oaths as a shield, thereby prevented others from allah’s way; indeed they commit extremely evil deeds.
އެއުރެންގެ ހުވާތަކަކީ، އައްޑަނަތަކެއް ކަމުގައި އެއުރެން ހެދޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން اللَّه ގެ މަގުން (މީސްތަކުން) އެއްކިބާކުރޫއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން ކޮށްއުޅުނު ކަންތަކުގެ ނުބައިކަމާއެވެ!

so that he may make what the devil includes a trial for those in whose hearts is a disease, and those whose hearts are hardened; indeed the unjust are extremely quarrelsome.
އެއީ އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި ބަލިމަޑުކަމެއް ހުންނަ މީހުންނަށާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތައް ހަރުކަށިވެފައިވާ މީހުންނަށް، امتحان އެއްކަމުގައި، شيطان އާ ވައްދާ ވަސްވާސްތެރިކަން ލެއްވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަނިޔާވެރިންވަނީ (حق އާ) ދުރުވެގެންވާ ދެކޮޅުވެރިކަމެއްގެ ތެރޭގައެވެ.

an extremely evil jinn said, “i will bring it in your presence before you disperse the assembly; and i am indeed strong and trustworthy upon it.”
ޖިންނީންގެ ތެރެއިން عفريت އަކު ދެންނެވިއެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ތިޔަ އިންނެވިތަނުން ތެދުވެވަޑައިގަތުމުގެ ކުރިން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް ތިމަން އެ ގެނެސްދީފާނަމެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންނާއީ، އެ އުފުލޭފަދަ، ބާރުގަދަ، އޭގެމައްޗަށް أمانة ތެރިއަކީމެވެ.

and for those who disbelieved is the fire of hell; neither does their final seizure come that they may die, nor is its punishment lightened for them; this is how we punish every extremely ungrateful person.
އަދި كافر ވިމީހުންނަށް ހުރީ ނަރަކައިގެ އަލިފާނެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން މަރުވުމަކަށް، އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ނިޔާއެއް ނުކުރައްވާނެތެވެ. އަދި ނަރަކައިގެ عذاب ން ބައެއް، އެއުރެންގެ ކިބަޔަކުން ލުޔެއްވެސް ނުމެކުރައްވާނޭމެއެވެ. كافر ވާ ކޮންމެ މީހަކަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ عذاب ދެއްވަނީ އެފަދައިންނެވެ.

and when calamity strikes you upon the sea, all those whom you worship are lost, except him; then when he rescues you towards land, you turn away; and man is extremely ungrateful.
އަދި ކަނޑުމަތީގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދަތިحال ޖެހިއްޖެހިނދަކު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެހީއަށްއެދި ގޮވާ ފަރާތްތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން، އެކަލާނގެ ފިޔަވައި އެހެންހުރިހާ ފަރާތެއް ގެއްލިދެއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެކަަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ސަލާމަތްކުރައްވައި، އެއްގަމަށް ގެންނަވައިފިހިނދު (އެކަލާނގެ ފިޔަވައި) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ފުރަގަސްދީ ހިނގައިދެއެވެ. نعمة އަށް އިންކާރުކޮށް، ދެކޮޅުވެރިވާ މީހަކު ކަމުގައި އިންސާނާވިއެވެ.

an efreet (an extremely strong jinn) among the jinn replied: 'i will bring it to you before you rise from your place; i have the strength and am trustworthy'
ޖިންނީންގެ ތެރެއިން عفريت އަކު ދެންނެވިއެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ތިޔަ އިންނެވިތަނުން ތެދުވެވަޑައިގަތުމުގެ ކުރިން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް ތިމަން އެ ގެނެސްދީފާނަމެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންނާއީ، އެ އުފުލޭފަދަ، ބާރުގަދަ، އޭގެމައްޗަށް أمانة ތެރިއަކީމެވެ.
