and whosoever forbeareth and forgiveth -that verily is of the firmness of affairs.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކެތްތެރިވެ، عفو ކުރިމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަންކަންވަނީ، عزم ކަނޑައަޅަންޖެހޭ ކަންތައްތަކުގެ ތެރެއިންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

whatever of misfortune striketh you, it is what your right hands have earned. and he forgiveth much.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ޖެހޭހާ مصيبة އެއް ޖެހެނީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އަތްތަކުން ހޯދިކަންތަކުގެ ސަބަބުންނެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ ގިނަފާފަތައް عفو ކުރައްވަތެވެ.

or he causeth them to perish on account of that which they have earned - and he forgiveth much -
ނުވަތަ އެއުރެން ހޯދި ނުބައިކަންތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން އެ އުޅަނދުތައް ހަލާކުކުރައްވައިފީހެވެ. އަދި (އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާނަމަ، އެއުރެންގެ) ގިނަ ފާފަ عفو ކުރައްވައިފީހެވެ.

unto allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. he forgiveth whom he will, and punisheth whom he will.
އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައި ވާހާ އެއްޗެއް މިލްކުވެގެންވަނީ، اللَّه އަށެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް ފާފަފުއްސަވަތެވެ. އަދި، އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް عذاب ދެއްވަތެވެ. اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and allah's is the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. he forgiveth whom he will, and punisheth whom he will.
އަދި އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގެ ވެރިކަންވަނީ اللَّه އަށެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް ފާފަފުއްސަވަތެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް عذاب ދެއްވަތެވެ. އަދި ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ކަލަކުކަމުގައި اللَّه ވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

knowest thou not that unto allah belongeth the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth? he punisheth whom he will, and forgiveth whom he will.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގެ ވެރިކަން اللَّه އަށް މިލްކުވެގެންވާކަން ތިބާ ނުދަންނަމުހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް އެކަލާނގެ عذاب ދެއްވަތެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް އެކަލާނގެ ފާފަފުއްސަވަތެވެ. اللَّه އީ، ކޮންމެކަމެއްގެ މައްޗަށް ކުޅަދުންވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

allah's is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. he forgiveth whomsoever he listeth, and tormenteth whomsoever he listeth.
އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައި ވާހާ އެއްޗެއް މިލްކުވެގެންވަނީ، اللَّه އަށެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް ފާފަފުއްސަވަތެވެ. އަދި، އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް عذاب ދެއްވަތެވެ. اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and verily whoso is patient and forgiveth - lo! that, verily, is (of) the steadfast heart of things.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކެތްތެރިވެ، عفو ކުރިމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަންކަންވަނީ، عزم ކަނޑައަޅަންޖެހޭ ކަންތައްތަކުގެ ތެރެއިންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and allah's is the dominion of the heavens and the earth. he forgiveth whomsoever he will and tormenteth whomsoever he will; and allah is ever forgiving, merciful.
އަދި އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގެ ވެރިކަންވަނީ اللَّه އަށެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް ފާފަފުއްސަވަތެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް عذاب ދެއްވަތެވެ. އަދި ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ކަލަކުކަމުގައި اللَّه ވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with him; but he forgiveth anything else, to whom he pleaseth; to set up partners with allah is to devise a sin most heinous indeed.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެއަށް شريك ކުރުމުގެ ފާފައެއް ނުފުއްސަވާނެތެވެ. އެނޫން ފާފަތައް، އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް ފުއްސަވަތެވެ. އަދި، اللَّه އަށް شريك ކުރާމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެމީހާ ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ފާފައަކަށް އަރައިގެންފިކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

he forgiveth whomsoever he will and tormenteth whomsoever he will. and allah's is the dominion of the heavens and the earth and that which is in- between the twain, and unto him in the return.
يهودى ންނާއި، نصارى އިން ބުނެފޫއެވެ. ތިމަންމެންނީ، اللَّه ގެ ދަރިންނެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެންވާ މީހުންނެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! އެހެންވިއްޔާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ފާފަތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެކަލާނގެ عذاب ދެއްވަނީ ކީއްވެގެންހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ، އެކަލާނގެ ހެއްދެވި މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިންވާ މީހުންނެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް ފާފަފުއްސަވަތެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް عذاب ދެއްވަތެވެ. އަދި އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމާއި، އެ ދެމެދުގައި ވާހާ ތަކެއްޗެއްގެ ވެރިކަން ملك ވެގެންވަނީ اللّه އަށެވެ. އަދި ނިމިދިއުންވަނީވެސް އެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށެވެ.

allah forgiveth not (the sin of) joining other gods with him; but he forgiveth whom he pleaseth other sins than this: one who joins other gods with allah, hath strayed far, far away (from the right).
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެއަށް شريك ކުރުމުގެ ފާފައެއް ނުފުއްސަވާނެތެވެ. އެނޫން ފާފަތައް، އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް ފުއްސަވަތެވެ. اللَّه އަށް شريك ކުރާމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އޭނާ ދުރުވެގެންވާ މަގުފުރެދުމަކުން މަގުފުރެދިއްޖެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.
