لوط ގެފާނު، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު (ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެކެދެނެތިބި حال، فاحش عمل ތައް ކުރަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟

އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ޒިނޭއާ ގާތްނުވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއީ ހުތުރުކަން ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ފާފައެއް ކަމުގައިވިއެވެ. އަދި މަގެއްގެ ގޮތުން އެކަންތައް ހާދަހާ ނުބައިވެގެންވެއެވެ.

and go not nigh to fornication; surely it is an indecency and an evil way.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ޒިނޭއާ ގާތްނުވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއީ ހުތުރުކަން ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ފާފައެއް ކަމުގައިވިއެވެ. އަދި މަގެއްގެ ގޮތުން އެކަންތައް ހާދަހާ ނުބައިވެގެންވެއެވެ.

and approach not fornication; surely it is an indecency, and evil as a way.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ޒިނޭއާ ގާތްނުވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއީ ހުތުރުކަން ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ފާފައެއް ކަމުގައިވިއެވެ. އަދި މަގެއްގެ ގޮތުން އެކަންތައް ހާދަހާ ނުބައިވެގެންވެއެވެ.

he orders you to commit evil and indecency and to assert about allah what you do not know.
އެ شيطان އާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް أمر ކުރާކަން ކަށަވަރީ ނުބައިކަންތަކާއި ހުތުރުކަންބޮޑު ފާފަތަކަށެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެނގިގެންނުވާ އެއްޗެއް اللَّه އާމެދު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބުނުމަށެވެ.

and lut! what time he said unto his people: commit ye indecency while ye see?
لوط ގެފާނު، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު (ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެކެދެނެތިބި حال، فاحش عمل ތައް ކުރަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟

he only commands you to evil and indecency, and that you should speak against god such things as you know not.
އެ شيطان އާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް أمر ކުރާކަން ކަށަވަރީ ނުބައިކަންތަކާއި ހުތުރުކަންބޮޑު ފާފަތަކަށެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެނގިގެންނުވާ އެއްޗެއް اللَّه އާމެދު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބުނުމަށެވެ.

and lot, when he said to his people, 'what, do you commit indecency with your eyes open?
لوط ގެފާނު، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު (ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެކެދެނެތިބި حال، فاحش عمل ތައް ކުރަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟

and those who do not give false testimony, and when they pass near some indecency, they pass by it saving their honour.
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ ދޮގުހެކިނުދޭ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި ބޭކާރު ބަސްތަކާއި ކަންތައް ދިމާވާހިނދު، މާތްމީހުންގެ ގޮތުގައި ފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންނެވެ.

wives of the prophet, if any of you commit flagrant indecency, her chastisement shall be doubled. that is easy for allah.
އޭ ނަބިއްޔާގެ އަނބިއަނބިކަނބަލުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަކަނބަލުންކުރެ ފާޅުވެގެންހުރި ހުތުރުކަން ބޮޑު ފާފަޔެއްކުރި މީހަކަށް ދެގުނަޔަށް عذاب އިތުރުކުރައްވާ ހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި އެކަންތަކަކީ، اللَّه އަށް ދާދިފަސޭހަ ކަމެއް ކަމުގައިވެއެވެ.

(this reward will be for) those who keep away from major sins and indecency, who forgive when they are made angry,
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ ބޮޑެތިފާފަތަކާއި، فاحش ކަންތައްތަކުން ދުރުހެލިވެ ތިބޭމީހުންނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނީ ރުޅިއަތުވެއްޖެހިނދެއްގައި މާފުކުރާ ބަޔެކެވެ.

and lot who said to his nation: 'you commit indecency which no other being in all the world has committed before you.
އަދި لوط ގެފާނު، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު (ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!) ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިޔަކުރާ فاحش ކަންތައްތަކަކީ، عالم ތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އެކަކުވެސް މީގެކުރިން ކޮށްފައިނުވާ ކަންތައްތަކެކެވެ.

(o prophet), recite the book that has been revealed to you and establish prayer. surely prayer forbids indecency and evil.
ފޮތުގެ ތެރެއިން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް وحى ކުރެއްވި ތަކެތި ކިޔަވައި ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނު ނަމާދު قائم ކުރައްވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ނަމާދަކީ ހުތުރުކަންބޮޑު ފާފަތަކާއި، منكرات ތައް ނަހީކުރާ ކަމެކެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ހަނދުމަ ކުޅައުމަކީ، އެންމެ ބޮޑު ކަންތަކެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކުރާ ކަންތައް اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެތެވެ.

and wed not of women those whom your fathers had wedded, except that which hath already passed. verily it hath been an indecency and an abomination and an evil way:
އަންހެނުންގެ ތެރެއިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ބަފައިން ކާވެނިކުޅަ އަންހެނަކާ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކާވެނި ނުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! އިސްވެދިޔަތާނގައި މެނުވީއެވެ. (އެބަހީ: ޖާހިލީ ޒަމާނުގައި ހިނގާދިޔަ ކަންތައްވަނީ عفو ކުރައްވާފައެވެ.) ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަމަކީ، ހުތުރުކަންބޮޑު ފާފައެއް ކަމުގައްޔާއި، އަދި، ނުރުއްސަވާ ކަމެއްކަމުގައިވިއެވެ. އަދި އެއީ، ހާދަހާ ނުބައިވެގެންވާ މަގެކެވެ.

and lot, when he said to his people, 'what, do you commit such indecency as never any being in all the world committed before you?
އަދި لوط ގެފާނު، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު (ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކުރިން، عالم ތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އެކަކުވެސް ކޮށްފައިނުވާ فاحش عمل ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކުރަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟

[we also sent] lot, when he said to his people, ‘what! do you commit this indecency while you look on?
لوط ގެފާނު، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު (ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެކެދެނެތިބި حال، فاحش عمل ތައް ކުރަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟

and she advanced towards him, and had joseph not perceived a sign from his lord he too would have advanced towards her. thus was joseph shown a sign from his lord that we might avert from him all evil and indecency, for indeed he was one of our chosen servants.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން (އެދުމާއެކު) އެކަނބުލޭގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނާ ކުރިމަތިލިއެވެ. އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ دليل ފެނިވަޑައިނުގެންނެވިނަަމަ، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ހިތްޕުޅުވެސް އެކަނބުލޭގެ ފަރާތަށް ލެނބުނީހެވެ. އެފަދައިން (އެ دليل ދެއްކެވީ) ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކިބައިން ނުބައި عمل އާއި، ހުތުރުކަންބޮޑު ފާފަ ދުރުކުރެއްވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވަނީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ خيار ކުރެއްވި އަޅުންގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

and (we sent) lut when he said to his people: what! do you commit an indecency which any one in the world has not done before you?
އަދި لوط ގެފާނު، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު (ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކުރިން، عالم ތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އެކަކުވެސް ކޮށްފައިނުވާ فاحش عمل ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކުރަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟

(muhammad), recite to them what has been revealed to you in the book and be steadfast in prayer; prayer keeps one away from indecency and evil. it is the greatest act of worshipping god.
ފޮތުގެ ތެރެއިން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް وحى ކުރެއްވި ތަކެތި ކިޔަވައި ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނު ނަމާދު قائم ކުރައްވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ނަމާދަކީ ހުތުރުކަންބޮޑު ފާފަތަކާއި، منكرات ތައް ނަހީކުރާ ކަމެކެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ހަނދުމަ ކުޅައުމަކީ، އެންމެ ބޮޑު ކަންތަކެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކުރާ ކަންތައް اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެތެވެ.
