ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނަކަށް އެތާނގައި ބަނޑުހައިވުމެއްނުވެތެވެ. އަދި އުނުއޮރިޔާންވުމެއްވެސް ނުމެވޭމެއެވެ.

verily you will have no hunger or nakedness there,
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނަކަށް އެތާނގައި ބަނޑުހައިވުމެއްނުވެތެވެ. އަދި އުނުއޮރިޔާންވުމެއްވެސް ނުމެވޭމެއެވެ.

we have sent down to you clothing that covers your nakedness, and feathers. but the clothing of piety that is better.
އޭ آدم ގެދަރިންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ عورة ތައް ނިވައިކުރަނިވި ހެދުމާއި، ޒީނަތްތެރި ފޭރާން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި تقوى ގެ ފޭރާން މާހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ. އެކަންތައްތައްވަނީ، اللَّه ގެ آية ތަކުގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ. (އެއީ) އެއުރެން ހަނދުމަ ކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

they both ate the fruit of this tree, and so they became conscious of their nakedness and began to cover themselves with the leaves of the garden. thus adam disobeyed his lord and fell into error.
ފަހެ، އެ ދެކަނބަލުން އެ ގަހުން ފަރިއްކުޅުއްވިއެވެ. ދެން އެ ދެކަނބަލުންގެ عورة، އެ ދެކަނބަލުންނަށް ފާޅުވިއެވެ. އަދި ސުވަރުގޭގެ ފަތްތަކުން عورة ނިވާކުރައްވަން ފެއްޓެވިއެވެ. އަދި آدم ގެފާނު އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް އުރެދިވަޑައިގަތެވެ. ފަހެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ مقصد حاصل ނުވެ މަގުގެއްލުނެވެ.

so they both ate of it, and their nakedness became evident to them, and they began to stitch over themselves with the leaves of paradise. adam disobeyed his lord, and went amiss.
ފަހެ، އެ ދެކަނބަލުން އެ ގަހުން ފަރިއްކުޅުއްވިއެވެ. ދެން އެ ދެކަނބަލުންގެ عورة، އެ ދެކަނބަލުންނަށް ފާޅުވިއެވެ. އަދި ސުވަރުގޭގެ ފަތްތަކުން عورة ނިވާކުރައްވަން ފެއްޓެވިއެވެ. އަދި آدم ގެފާނު އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް އުރެދިވަޑައިގަތެވެ. ފަހެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ مقصد حاصل ނުވެ މަގުގެއްލުނެވެ.

o sons of adam, we have revealed to you a dress that would both hide your nakedness and be an adornment, but the raiment of piety is best. this is one of the tokens of god: you may haply reflect.
އޭ آدم ގެދަރިންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ عورة ތައް ނިވައިކުރަނިވި ހެދުމާއި، ޒީނަތްތެރި ފޭރާން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި تقوى ގެ ފޭރާން މާހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ. އެކަންތައްތައްވަނީ، اللَّه ގެ آية ތަކުގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ. (އެއީ) އެއުރެން ހަނދުމަ ކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

do not let satan seduce you, as he drove your parents out of the garden, stripping them of their garments, to show them their nakedness. he sees you, him and his clan, from where you cannot see them.
އޭ آدم ގެދަރިންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައިންބަފައިން ކަމުގައިވި (آدم ގެފާނާއި حوّاء ގެފާނާއި) ދެކަނބަލުންގެ عورة އެ ދެކަނބަލުންނަށް ދެއްކުމަށްޓަކައި، އެ ދެކަނބަލުންގެ ފޭރާން ބާލައި، އެ ދެކަނބަލުން ސުވަރުގެއިން ނެރެލިފަދައިން، شيطان އާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހެއްލުންތެރިކުރިޔަ ނުދޭހުށިކަމެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެ شيطان ން ނުފެންނަހިނދުގައި، އެ شيطان އާއާއި، އޭނާގެ لشكر އަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ފެނެއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، إيمان ނުވާ މީހުންނަށް، ވާގިވެރިވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ شيطان ން ލެއްވީމެވެ.

and command the muslim women to keep their gaze low and to protect their chastity, and not to reveal their adornment except what is apparent, and to keep the cover wrapped over their bosoms; and not to reveal their adornment except to their own husbands or fathers or husbands’ fathers, or their sons or their husbands’ sons, or their brothers or their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, or women of their religion, or the bondwomen they possess, or male servants provided they do not have manliness, or such children who do not know of women’s nakedness, and not to stamp their feet on the ground in order that their hidden adornment be known; and o muslims, all of you turn in repentance together towards allah, in the hope of attaining success. (it is incumbent upon women to cover themselves properly.)
އަދި مؤمن އަންހެނުންނަށް އެކަނބަލުންގެ ބެލުންތައް ތިރިކުރުމަށާއި، އެކަނބަލުންގެ فرج ތައް ރައްކާތެރިކުރުމަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! އަދި އެކަނބަލުންގެ ޒީނަތުގެ ތެރެއިން ފާޅުވެގެންވާތަން ފިޔަވައި (އެބަހީ: މޫނާއި ދެއަތްތިލަ ފިޔަވައި) އެކަނބަލުންގެ ޒީނަތް ފާޅުނުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި އެކަނބަލުންގެ ބުރުގާތައް، އެކަނބަލުންގެ ކަރުވަޅުތަކުގައި އަޅައިނިވައިކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި އެކަނބަލުންގެ ފިރިންނަށް، ނުވަތަ އެކަނބަލުންގެ ބަފައިންނަށް، ނުވަތަ އެކަނބަލުންގެ ފިރިންގެ ބަފައިންނަށް، ނުވަތަ އެކަނބަލުންގެ ފިރިހެން ދަރިންނަށް، ނުވަތަ އެކަނބަލުންގެ ފިރިންގެ ފިރިހެން ދަރިންނަށް، ނުވަތަ އެކަނބަލުންގެ أخ ންނަށް، ނުވަތަ އެކަނބަލުންގެ أخ ންގެ ފިރިހެން ދަރިންނަށް، ނުވަތަ އެކަނބަލުންގެ أخت ންގެ ފިރިހެން ދަރިންނަށް، ނުވަތަ އެކަނބަލުންގެ ތެރެއިންވާ އަންހެނުންނަށް، ނުވަތަ އެކަނބަލުންނަށް މިލްކުވެގެންވާ އަޅުންނަށް، ނުވަތަ ފިރިހެނުންގެ ތެރެއިން އެދުންވެރި ކަމެއް ނުހިނގާވަރުގެ ގެންގުޅޭ މީހުންނަށް، ނުވަތަ އަންހެނުންގެ عورة ތައް ނޭނގޭވަރުގެ ކުޑަކުއްޖާއަށް މެނުވީ، އެކަނބަލުންގެ ޒީނަތް ފާޅުނުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި އެކަނބަލުންގެ (ގަހަނާއާއި) ޒީނަތުގެ ތެރެއިން، ވަންހަނާވެފައިވާ ތަކެތި އެންގުމަށްޓަކައި، ފައިތިލަތަކުން (ބިމުގައި) އެކަނބަލުން ނުތަޅާހުށިކަމެވެ! އޭ مؤمن ންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެންމެން اللَّه އަށް توبة ވާށެވެ! (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދިންނަވައި، نصيب ލިބުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.
