ފަހެ، ތިމަންމެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މަގުފުރެއްދީމުއެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންވީ، މަގުފުރެދިގެންވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

even so perverted are they who deny the signs of god.
اللَّه ގެ آية ތަކަށް ދެކޮޅުހަދައިއުޅުނު މީހުން (ތެދުމަގުން) އެއްކިބާވަނީ އެފަދައިންނެވެ.

if any turn back after this, they are perverted transgressors.
ދެން، އެއަށްފަހު (އެ عهد އުވާލައި) ފުރަގަސްދީފި މީހާ، (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަކީ ހަމަ فاسق ންނެވެ.

therefore we perverted you, and we ourselves were perverts.'
ފަހެ، ތިމަންމެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މަގުފުރެއްދީމުއެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންވީ، މަގުފުރެދިގެންވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

so we perverted you, for we were perverse [ourselves].’
ފަހެ، ތިމަންމެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މަގުފުރެއްދީމުއެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންވީ، މަގުފުރެދިގެންވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

upon the day when the hour is come, the sinners shall swear they have not tarried above an hour; so they were perverted.
قيامة ގެ ވަގުތުޖެހޭދުވަހު ކުށްވެރިން ހިނދުކޮޅަކަށް މެނުވީ އެއުރެން ނުތިބޭކަމަށް ހުވާކުރާނެތެވެ. (ދުނިޔެމަތީގައި) އެއުރެން حق ން އެއްކިބާވާ ކަމުގައިވީ އެފަދައިންނެވެ.

but the wicked changed and perverted the word we had spoken to a word distorted, and we sent from heaven retribution on the wicked, for they disobeyed.
ދެން (އޭގެތެރެއިން) އަނިޔާވެރިވި މީހުން، އެއުރެންނަށް ކިޔާށޭ އެންގެވި ބަސް އެނޫން ބަހަކަށް ބަދަލުކޮށްފޫއެވެ. ދެން އެ އަނިޔާވެރިވި މީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް، އެއުރެން فاسق ވި ކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން، އުޑުން عذاب އެއް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ބާވައިލެއްވީމެވެ.

the wicked among them changed and perverted the word we had spoken to a word unpronounced; so we sent from heaven retribution on them for all their wickedness.
ދެން އޭގެތެރެއިން އަނިޔާވެރިވި މީހުން، އެއުރެންނަށް ކިޔާށޭ އެންގެވި ބަސް، އެނޫންބަހަކަށް ބަދަލުކޮށްފޫއެވެ. ދެން އެއުރެން އަނިޔާވެރިވެ އުޅުނުކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް އުޑުން عذاب އެއް ފޮނުއްވީމެވެ.

and lot—we gave him judgment and knowledge, and we delivered him from the town that practiced the abominations. they were wicked and perverted people.
لوط ގެފާނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حكمة ތެރިކަމާއި، علم ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ނުބައި ފާފަތައް ކޮށްއުޅުނު ރަށުގެ (މީހުންގެ) ކިބައިން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނު ސަލާމަތްކުރެއްވީމެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންވީ، ނުބައިކަމުގެ أهل ވެރި، فاسق ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

and recite thou unto them the story of him unto whom we vouchsafed our signs, but he sloughed them off, wherefore the satan followed him, and he became of the perverted.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް އެމީހާއަށް ލިބިދެއްވުމުން، އެއިން ވަކިވެގަތް މީހާގެ خبر ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެންނަށް ކިޔައިދެއްވާށެވެ! ދެން شيطان އާ އޭނާގެ ފަހަތުން ދިޔައެވެ. ފަހެ، މަގުފުރެދިގެންވާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން އޭނާ ވިއެވެ.

but the transgressors perverted the words said to them entirely into a different thing. so we sent down upon the transgressors a severe torment from the sky: that was the punishment for the disobedience they were showing.
ދެން (އޭގެތެރެއިން) އަނިޔާވެރިވި މީހުން، އެއުރެންނަށް ކިޔާށޭ އެންގެވި ބަސް އެނޫން ބަހަކަށް ބަދަލުކޮށްފޫއެވެ. ދެން އެ އަނިޔާވެރިވި މީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް، އެއުރެން فاسق ވި ކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން، އުޑުން عذاب އެއް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ބާވައިލެއްވީމެވެ.

can ye (o ye men of faith) entertain the hope that they will believe in you?- seeing that a party of them heard the word of allah, and perverted it knowingly after they understood it.
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (އެބަހީ: رسول އާ އާއި مؤمن ންގެ ގޮވާލުމަށް) އެއުރެން (އިޖާބަދީ) إيمان ވުމަށް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އުންމީދު ކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ اللَّه ގެ كلام ފުޅު އަހައި، އެއުރެން އެ كلام ފުޅު ވިސްނައި ދެނެގަތުމަށްފަހު، އެއުރެން ދެނެތިބެ، ދެން އެ كلام ފުޅު ބަދަލުކުރާ ބަޔަކު އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން ވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.
